For me I use online walley like coinbase, coins.ph , and blockchain and this three wallet is very safe for me I did not experienced any interruption and any distruction and My bitcoin is safe. I also used before offline wallet but now I used only online wallet. I like online wallet because they have 2fa that gives in yout wallet sa safety from the hacker. 2FA is nothing once a web wallet turned into fraud. Im not saying that those big web wallets today will turned into shit but we can't take away the chance of that to happened. History speaks or the usual "we got hacked".
So to answer your question at the end of your post, it will be less risk if you will hold your coins by yourself so you are the only one to blame if those coins will be lost. Then the role of web wallet is to use their features and not for storage purposes.

well it is hard to tell which one is better between offline and online wallets they both have one purpose as storing currency for transactions but except that digital wallets have some more features that makes it more better and influencing than offline wallet .people can use online wallets to save and store crypto currency and wait for the values to increase , a fine, skilled and experienced man can make profit even out of the fluctuating value of Bitcoin .

I guess both them are all good when it comes in offline wallet i guess it is good for long term investment and also have a better security than the other online wallet i guess is more prone to hacking i guess but more versatile than the other wallet you can open your wallet just using a web browser.

I prefer for offline bitcoin wallet. Offline wallet because I think if I urgently need money I can easily get it into my offline wallet and I can use it to pay lots of services and product if I don’t have internet access unlike online wallet, right? I think offline wallet is more secure than online wallet because there are lot of hackers and scam in online so I am not sure if I can handle my online wallet especially if I already have a lot of coins. I can’t afford losing coins, because in the first place I work hard for that and they will just take it away from me.
