Depending on the usage people need to selectthe respective wallet. In my view offline wallets were the best for users who consider it as a long term investment. For regular usage starting from transaction to gambling and other needs online wallets were the best.
I think it depends to the people what wallet want he or she use. In addition to that, I prefer to use the online wallet because you can transfer money easily and you can pay your bills instantly. However, there are still people who use the offline wallet also called hardware wallet that you need to install to your computer. Lastly, I think the best way to keep you bitcoin is to put it on online wallet.

Offline wallets are obviously much better that online wallets in nearly every single aspect. The main advantage of offline wallets is that they are extremely secure compared to online wallets. If you have a lot of Bitcoin and wish to store them in a single wallet, I would recommend a Hardware wallet like the Ledger Nano. If you can't afford hardware wallets, then you could use Electrum. The website to download Electrum is here: https://electrum.org/#download

Personally, I would recommend you to split your Bitcoin among separate wallet. Thus your coins are much more secure as all your money is not accessible in one spot.

The problem with separating your coins that way is that even if your coins are safer from thieves by following that safety measure, now you are more at risk of forgetting the seed or the password of your wallet, or losing your paper wallet or the device in which you have stored your coins, so like you see everything has advantages and disadvantages.

Well, maybe there is an advantage to not using the offline wallet if you are too stupid to live.  I have not met too many people that are going to lose the key to their funds.  You would have to be pretty dumb to do that, especailly knowing the funds would be lost forever if you did so.
My point is valid even if you think only dumb people will do that, there are many stories of people on this forum and others that have lost their coins that way, so it is not like what I have describe could not happen, people lose things all the time, people lose their car and house keys, mobile phones, emails and all kind of stuff so it is not difficult to imagine people losing bitcoin too.

I don't even feel like I need to debate this. Offline wallets are totally beating up online wallets in any case.

I don't see it like way. Users of online wallets are increasing that's why you can see some numerous complaints to their respective exchanges wallet provider. And not just that, exchanges wallet are useful when buying and converting bitcoins to fiat which is not present obviously on offline exchanges.

As for summary, they have both used. Offline Storage as a wallet and Online Wallet to buy and converting bitcoins.

i never use offline wallet because I have no personal pc.
I was afraid of losing my bitcoin.
Some people have to do what they have to do. You should try to get a personal computer if you get into Bitcoin since the people that are holding the coins within their websites will get greedy when the price gets very expensive.
It’s better to spend a couple hundred dollars for a working computer to place Bitcoin in rather than losing all that Bitcoin when the price gets up to 6 figures or more.

Yeah i think you can even use both? I think it depends on the needs of your activities. If you're a busy person and often out there and have frequent deals. Maybe you can use a wallet online that is more flexible and easy to use anywhere

Which of the Bitcoin wallets between the Online and Offline works best?

It depend on your need, I used both of them.
I used offline wallet to store 90% my bitcoin as my digital assets for future purpose
I use online wallet only for transaction or for trading

Both of them have advantage and disadvantage,
The main disadvantage of the file being offline is slow access to your Bitcoins. You have to find your private key from the offline storage and bring it back online for you to carry out any transaction.

The main disadvantage of online wallet is, you dont know about their security and some online wallet not provide your private key, advantage of online wallet is they are really fast to use

Which of the Bitcoin wallets between the Online and Offline works best?
It all depends on what it is you want to get out of your wallet to be completely honest.
If you want to have ease of access at the cost of "truly" owning your Bitcoin and leaving them in another website's care, then get an online wallet.
If you want to have security and ownership while being limited to whatever your wallet can connect to and be used from, then go for an offline wallet.

There is no real way to dictate which is better for you and there are a lot more variables that I didn't include, I just wanted to sum it up quickly for the sake of understanding.

I will say that Offline wallets is better. Some online wallets DO NOT let you to really own your Bitcoin because they keep your private key but offline wallets do, they enable you to backup your wallet, to keep your wallet safe.

Which of the Bitcoin wallets between the Online and Offline works best?
We know that offline wallets are more safe than a online wallet but the only thing is you can only store your wallet and you can put it in a harddrive imagine you cannot bring your wallet like online wallet like when your buying in a store using bitcoin you cant use a hardrive we that.

There are some alternative that you can be still bring your hardware wallet that is why they are offering trezor wallet or ledger nano where you can sae your bitcoin in offline wallet and you can just send your balance if you need it.. and  you can bring it anytime outside in your house including some tools for your phone to transfer to your mobile wallet for temporary use or make transaction to other people..

Which of the Bitcoin wallets between the Online and Offline works best?
There is not a general answer for this, you will need to consider your needs and wants, if you have a large amount of coins you are not going to move at all then a paper wallet is a good option, if you are going to move your coins more frequently then a hardware wallet is the best bet, if you don’t have a big amount of coins then a desktop wallet could be a good choice.

I prefer offline wallets, paper wallets mostly. That said, buying a hardware that is made for bitcoin adds risk that it is compromised knowing it's for bitcoin, where as a $150 laptop would not be expected to be used specifically for this task. I don't advocate hardware wallets, its a personal choice, call me paranoid.

online wallet is easy
just signup and then you go, just use the service

offine wallet is very strong security
but not everyone can setup the wallet
If its is about Online and Offline coins i will prefer online coins because it is protected in different places like you are alone some where and that place is not a safe then your offline wallet coins are also not safe but in that case your online wallet coins are 100% safe.

No doubt that offline wallets is more secure and choice wise more than a online wallets because that is the true essence of crypto currency having a decentrelize monetary that is not controlled by others but only you.

By having offline wallet you will be taking care of your bitcoin balances with your private key unlike to online wallets that produces a bitcoin address for receiving and sending but they hold your private key for you.

Having an offline wallet is like having your own bank that you can store all of your bitcoins.

For long term storage, please use offline paper wallet or hardware wallets. Paper wallet must be carefully generated though.

For daily/ frequent use, you can consider one of the mobile wallet- after all you do not bring your computer with you everywhere. Try breadwallet.
I think it's already cleared, based on the purpose and amount of bitcoin obviously.
Small amount of bitcoin and daily transaction - choose online (mobile) wallet.
Huge amount of bitcoin for long term savings - choose offline wallet.
There are a lot of wallets out there, you can research by yourself or read https://99bitcoins.com/best-bitcoin-wallet-2015-bitcoin-wallets-comparison-review/

Yeah simple as that. Always based on purpose like just why did you need a wallet.
This answer is the most accurate so far.
That's inappropriate, because without wallet we cannot save all the bitcoin. Based on the purpose different forms of wallets can be used. In terms of security and for long term holding needs people prefer offline wallets, whereas for anywhere accessing and gambling needs online wallets were the one that's preferred much.
