Surely both have pros and cons, but in my opinion the offline is more secured and safe than the online wallets, however it is not always available for you especially if you have it in your PC. Online wallets are less secured but it help more to make transactions online fastly.
well, i had same thing happen but i only save small amount of money in online wallet in case i want to buy something so i no need to back to home open my offline wallet

I think we cannot avoid to use an online wallet.  Since a person is actively trading, he is bound to use the exchange's wallet.  Sometimes we left our coins in there while on the sell or buy order.  From that I think we have no choice on which one to use since both have their own function.  An offline wallet if we do not want to move our coins and not trading while online wallet is there if we are constantly moving and trading our coins.  So I guess both are essential if we are very active in cryptocurrency economy.

Like most of the members already said offline wallet should be the first choice if you have huge amount of bitcoin to store and keep safe but online wallets come in handy and are easy to use if you have to make daily payments. So imo one should have both.

Yeah both have pros and cons. That's why I'm using both of them. Offline wallet is far being hack while online wallet can be convenient to use, its handy.

For a beginner an online wallet is the best option. In order to use it you only need to register and that’s it. Here’s the list (https://99bitcoins.com/best-bitcoin-wallet-2015-bitcoin-wallets-comparison-review/) of top Bitcoin wallets in 2017. If you want to store a big sum of money - online wallet is no good for you. The safest way is to store your keys in a paper wallet or a hardware wallet.

Which of the Bitcoin wallets between the Online and Offline works best?

Online wallets which are wallets like coinjar, blockchain, Coinbase are wallets that are always online which makes it very easy to hack wallets like them. For online wallets though it is usually very convient and safe to store under one Bitcoin there. For example I use coinjar as my spending wallet since it.is very convenient and since I only have less than one Bitcoin there.

For offline wallets they are more safe, since people can't hack you unless your using the wallet. And also if a hard fork comes, there is no guarantee that the money you have on an online wallet will still be there after the hard fork. For offline wallets though, that just doesn't apply to you.

I personally have more than ten different, used addresses that I control.  Fifty percent of those are online wallets that cannot provide a signed message.  PGP signing confused people worse than Bitcoin most of the time and is a pain in the but to set up the first time.  Just throwing a message in a TX and then being able to verify that the message is yours is another thing, but that comes back to the fact that most of these addresses on here are no longer accessible.  Online Bitcoin wallets attach the secondary ID string, so many people lose wallet access and simply grab another one versus recovering the wallet.

Which of the Bitcoin wallets between the Online and Offline works best?
It all depends on what it is you want to get out of your wallet to be completely honest.
If you want to have ease of access at the cost of "truly" owning your Bitcoin and leaving them in another website's care, then get an online wallet.
If you want to have security and ownership while being limited to whatever your wallet can connect to and be used from, then go for an offline wallet.

There is no real way to dictate which is better for you and there are a lot more variables that I didn't include, I just wanted to sum it up quickly for the sake of understanding.
In my opinion both are better in different kind of views for example If we are using offline wallets. It is protect and safe. While using online it is also save. It it is about any treat it can be happen with everyone wallet while if it is offline or online. But both are too secured. And one having a different kind of views.
So if I have to choose between online wallet and offline wallet, I will choose offline wallet because it is safer. If you don't secure your Online Wallets information right, hackers can easily hack your Bitcoin account.

I will also choose an offline wallet. It seems to me that this is much more reliable than an online wallet. Especially this problem is relevant now, when we hear about hacker attacks.

Sometimes when selecting wallet / exchange, if the popularity is there, that first exchange inclusion, combined with some announcements about, can break the ice with other more popular exchanges. Even if you do not get better prices from the big exchanges once listed elsewhere, you can likely raise the fees for them much easier then.

Which of the Bitcoin wallets between the Online and Offline works best?

I prefer both.
Offline wallet for your huge amount of coins. Also acts as  savings account. Safe and much secured from being hack. Just save in your hard drive, it'll be all set
Online wallets for your everday transaction. Storing few coins will be better, just enough for your needs.
I think both are convenient to use.

Same here, I use my online wallets to fund my gambling activities whereas the offline wallets stores what I intend stocking for the long term so I basically interchangeably use them depending on the situation.

offline wallet does not require you to synchronise the blockchain at all, and it is normally safe from being stolen, however when comes to the incident of which offline wallet is lost, so do the coins stored; or even worse, if your offline wallet is stolen. online wallet would need you to synchronise the blockchain in case of core/Qt; however online wallet such as blockchain wallet or multibit would only require you to be online without requirement of such. almost all of the software wallet allows you to encrypt your own wallet thus thief won't be able to get them easily.

If you want the best security in the wallet you can go for a offline wallet it is offline you it cannot be hack online and you can save it in your harddrive if you want durability in your wallet go for online wallet you can use it to buy in many stores you can easily open it in many your phone.
But the risk is still there because there are many viruses and malware that might infect your computer and then steal your personal data or bitcoin but you can reduce the risk by using antivirus on your laptop but I myself use online wallet and no problem?

I'd rather use an online wallet, many people on here are going to say that it isn't safe and you shouldn't be trusting other people with your keys or something along those lines but think about it. Would you rather barely be able to use your coins / have a hard time using the coins which you're bound to use at some point and have all the security in the world, or be able to use your coins freely without restrictions and with ease and have a bit less security?

I'm one on the less security side, even if it's tough to see for some.

I recommend the online wallet not as good in security like offline wallet but it is lot more useful than offline wallet you can use online wallet easily just using a internet brower and an internet connection in your phone so you can buy it a store using bitcoin easily just using your phone.
