Is there a github for the present source code, and when will a github be available to show the development of the new source code base?

I couldn't find a github link in the OP.
Hi @suspiciously square,

Here is the link to our gibhub repository: https://github.com/RiseVision

The development of the new code base will be shown there eventually too. Some prep for this was done in the 'Meteor' branch, but you will start seeing more commits after the team is done testing the proof of concept which they now have running on their internal test servers.

Thank you for your interest in Rise!

Thanks. Why isn't that link in the OP?

An oversight, I agree it should be there. I'll ask someone of the team to add it. Thanks.

The github link was mentioned in this thread, as well as on the RISE forum though.
By the way, the OP itself will be completely renewed soon to reflect the new Rise 2.0 direction.

this sucks...when looking at trump coin it reached $0.41 cents...a lot of people who bought at satoshi's are now holding at least $100,000+ valued trump coin...it makes you wonder how rise is going to do seeing at they raised close to $800,000 on an ico but are taking forever to deliver..

The amount raised during the ICO was in fact 1700 BTC and was liquidated at $700 per BTC so the total is about 1.2M USD.

The reason it is taking long to deliver is not without reason.  We started out with Lisk as our code base and the objective was to build out this code base with the tools, features and specifications we envisioned. We ran against many issues using the Lisk code base (for a complete summary click here) and the Rise dev team spent a very considerable amount of time trying to make it work. Finally the team concluded it will benefit everyone in the long-term (investors and users of the platform) to start building our very own unique Rise code base, no longer being dependent on Lisk, so Rise can be built exactly the way we want with all the specifications and features we envision and using a technology stack we believe is the most promising and future-proof to realize our road map.

Designing the architecture of the new code base of Rise 2.0 started in November 2016.

Fortune favours the bold!
What was the ICO price of RISE? Seems like a bargain right now with all the development going on.

@Equalizer1970, the exact ICO price was 0.00002061 BTC.

Thanks. As long as things are moving forward I feel RISE is a good long-term speculation.

I'd suggest to award investors somehow, for example distribute coins or some tokens (like Waves do) to ICO accounts OR to RISE accs where coins stay since summer.

amen to that, McVenture this is a nice idea, to appreciate Rise holder but only IF the rise token is stay in wallet  Smiley or even better keep buying for more than 3-5months

or announce/make this program in the next month, it would be awesome
coin must stay in wallet for 5months
I was thinking more about ICO investors who helped RISE and who lost too much. It may be any kind of reward on any terms, but for those who have ICO account.

RISE DEV TEAM UPDATE - JAN 15, 2017

Earlier last week we reported news about a proof of concept for Rise 2.0 nearing completion.
The latest is that the RISE developers now have this proof of concept successfully running
on their internal development servers with 3 Rise Delegates interfacing with each other.
This concept is an important stepping stone toward developing the full fledged Alpha Prototype
of the Rise 2.0 platform for which we will open up an Alpha Test Program.

Next up is the building out of the database models for these Rise Delegates. Our lead developer
reported that the team will commence testing block forging by the end of February.

We will keep you posted every step of the way. Thanks for tuning in.

thank you for providing with routine update

lol. this project is totally scammy. The only reason why they don't wanna compete with lisk as you mentioned, is that they want to wait till lisk will do all the job, and they just copy paste the code. The only way the price will move is down..till 1 satoshi.. sad but true. sorry bagholders and icoinvestors.

BigKush, RISE is no longer based on Lisk code, as announced a few months ago our Development Team is building a new code base from the ground up with a completely different technology stack than Lisk, and many other differences that I've listed a few posts back in this thread.
i think that this is very important, people should understand better this concept.
ps: 5 btc of volume and price growing up Cheesy
