Don't stress over prices at these volume levels - it's basically just noise. This could easily go below 100 satoshi. Real prices is when demand drives volume and attracts market makers. There's too much discussion about irrelevant prices, devs are active, and have been updating us more than ever. Hopefully they keep it up. I also think it will be months before they re-design the codebase and release something.

Not questioning the potential value of rise, but for the volume to jump way above the average it's been for the last few weeks and the fact that someone(s) would buy for .00000394 and it just sell for .00000220 6 seconds earlier should be a red flag for anyone wanting to buy.

Price/vol pops with no real changes, the price is cheap even at current levels but seems to be a trap to me.

Yea oddly enough price jumps a lil after these few posts so someone's watching

So, whos responsible for ensuring the minimum traded volume is met, on Bittrex, before it gets delisted?

If the volume keeps so low for some months, rise will be delisted from bittrex although it was paid 3 btc to list on bittrex.

No worries. Biggest shareholders will buy to maintain volume. In fact the biggest shareholder just bought everything between 200 and 300 Satoshi's.

Yeah, just mentioning it, as at the same time seeing those yellow banners across some of the shitcoins on Bittrex, i noted the 0.xBTC volume on RISE a few times.
Was hoping the team were going to take responsibility for keeping an eye on it, and keep the volume topped up, but i guess they should just focus on bringing some value back to this particular current shitcoin.

Changing the game
Rise Development Update

First of all: most of the architecture for Rise 2.0 is now completed.
The team is still working on Side-chains and are then going to break
down the architecture into specified user stories that they will push
over to Github. At that point you will have a fairly accurate way to
track progress on the new code base.

Second: There is a basic Proof of Concept nearing completion, the
team is working on the peering functions now and once that is complete
they will be running some testing on speed to get a real-world measurement
of what the network can handle.

More updates coming soon. Stay tuned.

so Rise its still grow up isnt ?

It depends on how long the biggest investors can cope with the sell pressure.
A few individuals holding majority of the coin will do no good for the coin.

@McVenture: What about is the Byteball air-drop? You (Rise team) have a good stash of BTC.

@Buratino, Rise won't be participating in the Byteball distribution. When BTC was at around $700 most of the development funds were liquidated to fiat for security reasons as back then we had no idea what BTC would be doing.

Thanks for explanation. I didn't know it.
