~~~
People don't notice these things, they just run after different projects for profit. If a project has a strong community and a large user base, then that project can have an impact on the market. They do not try to know the details of the project before investing in a coin / token. During a dump in the recent market, I saw which coins / tokens were trying to recover.
Already many coins / tokens are trying hard to recover, this is not possible without a strong community. Therefore, instead of running after random projects, the projects that are fundamentally strong should be given priority.
I agree that most coins that survive when the market goes down are good types of coins, even though they fall by more than 50%, these coins can rise again after the market recovers, call it major coins like eth, btc, bnb, solana, and many more.
maybe selecting coins from market conditions can show which ones are good and which ones are bad, if someone has been watching the market for a long time i think it will be easy to understand.
It is good to buy the dip of the coins who are reliable .Buying the Dip  of  startup altcoins that is under development which has not gained stand yet is not advisable enough. As for me , i calculate a lot when i want to buy the dip . I always ensure i buy only altcoins that is not above 25th rank in coinmarketcap.com and this has been working well for me.
The method you did was right and it might be imitated, this method is also widely used by investors by looking at the coin's ranking on coinmarketcap, it might be safer if it was reduced to the top 10 rankings, because when there is a decline, the possibility to restore its value is still there.
Only coins that have strong fundamentals and have their own ecosystem will be able to bounce back after experiencing a significant correction, because these coins will usually be used very often by users to make transactions or for other purposes, so the coin becomes popular and will helps to drive price movements.
I think the most important fundamental is money, look at big projects like TRON, Polygon or MONACO CARD which are now Crypto.com, they are supported by the power of big money so that it continues to increase and I'm sure it will be in the top 10 in the near future.
We disagree with you on the importance of a healthier neighborhood. It feels how no currency would thrive absent followers. Naturally, many people will follow the great currencies, which is why how what Mc is attempting to underline is a true statement.
To get natural followers, of course it takes time, if the project has a clear vision of course you will always be patient, besides being patient, of course, the strength of capital is very important, when you enter the market there will be a lot of negative news about coins so that many investors sell, and devs . must be brave to buy back so as to keep the price from being dipped.
for me coins that are good & can maintain their value like ETH, BNB, SOLANA, ADA etc.. lately they are still holding on to their value, even when the market is experiencing a correction they can still return to the starting point, on the other hand if you are a crypto trader on the network bsc. need to be careful because most of the new coins there are difficult to return to the initial position.coins few can return after a market correction.
With coins that have good community support, the chance that after the market crash they'll be able to bounce and bring decent profits
to their holders is high, while with new coins, it's needed to be observed and not to rush your investment as a new project once being dumped without community support to hold it will die, eventually.
It's important to have the participation of investors when choosing your investment.
If you don't see any active groups that really engage with the developing team, make sure if you plan to invest, you are willing and ready to take the risk.
The phrase buy the dip is only a good advice when you apply it properly by buying the very good altcoins whose value is only down because of the bearish market condition. Because it is not all coins that dip that would recover their value.
For example, early this year (when the market was super bullish) almost all the projects released saw good increase in their value. but that doesn't mean it is all of them that were very good projects. After the market dip (correction), most of them never recovered their value. The crypto market is filled with a lot of scrap altcoins and the market way of sheding them off is to dip (correction). So it would be in your best interest to only buy very good coins in the market dip.
These are coins circulating in the market today, sometimes up and down and down, moreover we can't apply it well in buying some coins that we think are good, but in fact these coins don't give a good increase at certain times.
Corrections that often occur in coins, when there is a burn that is carried out but does not go well and cannot restore its value, thus forcing the coin to fall to a very small number and cannot bounce back at a certain time.
does not guarantee good coins can escape the decline. I'm not sure about that, because what we know is that the correction doesn't choose the coin, but the coin that follows the correction. so I think when the big correction comes all the coins will be hit with a drop. the only way is to be ready with the risk of the correction and must be ready to manage the management properly
correction is the nature of the market. when the price has reached the saturation point of course there will be a correction, before continuing the increase. but of the many altcoins when there was a massive correction, not a few of them were unable to bounce back. I think this correction seems to be natural selection on altcoins
Well said.
If you look at the progression from the 2017 bull run and 2021 bull run, the coins involved were drastically different.
Plenty of meme coins (apart from Doge, of course) such as Mona that slowly faded out of relevance. Other more quality projects like Decentraland, ADA, etc. picked up. Don't buy into the short run hype.
Talking about altcoins that survived the Dip, we can take a look at them today. on coinmarketcap, the top 50 against the current dip is
- SOL
- Phantom
- QNT
- NEAR
- WAVES
- LEO
well, I think the coins have a pretty good defense when a sudden drop occurs. however, while almost all of the top altcoin dumps have followed bitcoin's footsteps, some of the above coins are still holding out. however, it doesn't mean that coins like ethereum, bnb, and other top altcoins are bad, on the contrary, I think that this is a discount and opportunity to own those coins.
indeed, coins with good reputation and brings benefits by many is hard to take down because its already mass adapted and appreciated, it's true that the fate of a coin in crypto world depends upon the support of the community, without the supporters the coin is nothing and will not survive.
But it also depends on bitcoin price as we could see everything is bleeding right now due to bitcoin price drop impact.
any coins or tokens could not deny the bitcoin impact that always success to ruin the market when it's price movement going negative, and the alts won't recover until bitcoin price going stable and i think it's the best time for us to buy more good coins from the dip.
When the whole market is down, there are rarely any coin that's surviving the dip. And the ones that does in rare case doesn't mean it would survive another one or going to be a huge hit as such rise are circumstantial. We could see solana, matic resist and rise because it's in a huge uptrend for about a month. The dip had less effect on it but it too would get to a point and correct. Such large dips be initiated by some events or rumors, turn into a landslide with traders stop loss limit being executed. The whole of the market would correct in coming week.
True, unless there is a certain Elon Musk to lift those shit coins from the blue. Buying the dip is more appropriate for coins with a big market cap such that the chances of a collapse don't exist while the value always lies in the future. Buying the dip doesn't always mean that one should buy just any coin during a bear run because some coins might become dust after the bear run is over.
As long as people are mining them, and there is a community behind them, they will survive regardless of what happens with Bitcoin.
I agree for the point of stronger community. Without supporters, I believe that no coin could survive. Obviously more people will support only good coins and this is the reason what OP is trying to emphasize here is absolutely a real fact.
I constantly monitor the price of MATIC, but even when the entire market is in deep stagnation, for some reason this coin does not go down very much. This is already starting to bother me because I'm waiting for the right moment to make a good purchase.
I guess it just never ends in a cycle, huh. This is why many projects keeps coming to back to grab the money of these investors tending to look for long-term investment.
This is one of the reasons that I steer clear of majority of altcoins right now. It just happens that many projects would look forward to get listed only for their "short-term" investors to dump it all after the listing in an exchange.
One of the only altcoin projects I believe in for a long term hold is #Stakenet #XSN and I Just dumped everything in my wallet into it.
Most of the altcoins are good for a few days, then you have to move on to the next one but I’ve believed fully in this project since the beginning.
