It would be awesome if this os gpu miner could be used on the new Polaris cards (480/480x) given their respective TDPs.....

at least it works with 15.12 =)
380 have same qty of shaders, etc as 7950. It should push 9+ cpd. All problem in drivers.

How many cpd you got with 15.12 drivers?

R9 380 1100/1500 ~6.8 15.11
Any way to run 380 on 14.x drivers? I think it will be faster, because when I put it first time to rig with 7950 and 14.x drivers. I saw 380 hashing 7+ cpd in stock. But then driver auto updated to 15.12 and I was unable to run 380 on 14 drivers anymore.

I'm also very interested how mach will push R9 390? Somebody have this info?

I don't think that R9 380 will work with drivers below 15.15

Yes it is small - normally R7 260X is 1/3 of R9 280X. I try it for a lot of algorithms X11, X13, Eterum and gives around 1/3.  Only for quark gives a little bit more than 1/3 of R9 280X

I am trying to compare the characteristics of some cards, but do not understand what is crucial. Core frequency? At the moment I only understood that the frequency of memory and amount of memory are not very important.

Core frequency and FP64 is very important. As you can see on this http://www.anandtech.com/show/9387/amd-radeon-300-series/2
R9 380 is similar to R9 280 except it has weaker FP64. R9 380 has 1/16FP64 and R9 280 has 1/4FP64.
R9 380 is obviously slower for mining XPM but it is good for ETH.

Hello, dear xpm-miners!
Anybody can share with experience of using R9 380, 380x? What CPD can be expected?
Thank you!
R9 380 (GPU 1000MHz, mem 1500MHz) 6 cpd
abrgeza, thank you so much for your answer!

Did anyone had block transfer from 3/6?
I can't get any XPM now.

Hello!
I'm mining on HD 7850 (it's about 4.7 CPD).
Anyone tried to use new analog of this card - R7 260X (or another R7 series, there are no R7 in "GPUs supportes" at the first message of this topic).

Maybe you mean R9 270 which is analog 7850 i guess

R9 270 ~ 5,4 CPD (950/1400) Downvolted to 1,0v

Hello, qqqq!
I mean exactly R7. Is it supported with this miner?

I don't have R7. And my results was obtained with Claymore miner.

Hi - Yes it is supported.
I mine with such card R7 260X and it gave me about 3,4 CPD

gollumist, qqqq, thank you for your answers!
hmm.. 3.4 CPD is very small. I thought that it would be the same as hd7850 (4.7 CPD).

The 260X is effectively a 7790 (Bonaire core) with 892SP and only a 128bit bus.

OTOH, the 265 is a what amounts to a 7830, or R9 270LE.  It is a Pitcairn class chip with a 256bit bus and 1024SP.  Frankly put, the 265 has no business being labeled as a R7 class chip and/or in 26x nomenclature.

If you think back to the 5xxx series, the 265 is pretty much the 5830 where your R7 260/260X chips are the 5750/5770 and your R9 270/270Xs are the 5850/5870.

So, your results are inline with expectations given the 265's bump in hardware resources over the 260X.
