CrunchPool just moved to a new server in Canada, with low latency to US and Europe, you can still mine BTC and more coins with us!

We just setup a new site P2Pools.us:
http://p2pools.us
BTC specific node: http://btc.p2pools.us:9332

Our servers are located in the Greater Boston Area and we encourage everyone who is interested in P2Pool mining to take a look at our node.

I will donate for an Iceland node!

Edit: Is it me or none of the Europe nodes are alive?
I know murdof was running some nodes in the EU (Amsterdam maybe?).  He, at one point, had an Iceland node setup as well.  Not sure what's left of them, though.

Ping node http://node.nocroom.com , we have a direct fiber to Amsterdam if pings well your done looking

Hey there!

We've just launched a p2pool node in San Francisco, CA.  If you're on the west coast, its worth checking the ping if it makes sense for you!  We also have a bonus, if you mine a min 0.5BTC on our pool, we give an additional 10% payout in our Affiliate Network.

Happy mining Smiley

If anyone wants to try out p2pool, they're welcome to use my node at
http://thirdlight.dynalias.com:9332

Server is in France, fee 0.5%, use the bitcoin address for payments as username, any password, or "graph" to see your worker at http://thirdlight.dynalias.com:9332/graphs/

I suggest leaving your miners on p2pool at least 48 hours to get a feel for payouts!

Edit: Server now UK, port 80
So, connect miner to http://thirdlight.dynalias.com:80
New style graphs at http://thirdlight.dynalias.com/static/graphs.html

I was looking for some pool that can be mines with 80,443 and 8080 port.

Is this still working so i could try it on work. Cuz we have proxy and port that are open are those. Just read first page so I down mine if there are more of them that can be mined via those three port.

I used to mine p2pool when it was worth it with my little rig but I haven't kept up with it for a while.
Is it worthwhile mining with a 7 Gh/s miner on p2pool or will I be receiving lots of little dust payments like before?

There are lot's of different opinions, but I'd say 7 GH/s is not going to be worth it.

My current suggestion (and again, just 1 guys opinion) would be a minimum of around 40 GH/s

Here is the current slowest miner in the pool that is in the payout queen for the next block (i.e. had an accepted share in the last 3 days):

http://minefast.coincadence.com/miner.php?id=14PwjQQzvXCBT6HuEaA5UEPEajDefVsS5Y

Estimated @ 38.45 GH/s

Lots of talk about trying to figure out a way to accommodate smaller miners, but no working solution yet...

We just launched a new super node, USA.

100% SSD Drives
RAID 10 redundancy
Many interconnects (low latency)
Backup power
Improved (under development) front-end

http://minefast.coincadence.com

you pay amazon EC2 to run that?

what makes it a super node?   is it the 32core machine?  and you're paying regular instance price for it?  *shiver*

I'd say that what makes it a super node, and sets it apart from other well connected enterprise class hardware is the fact that it provides data for miners that can not be found anywhere else without a substantial amount of research...

Amsterdam: http://eu.centralcavern.uk

We have Israel, Iceland and USA ready to launch, but will only do so when there are enough committed miners in these regions ready to mine on our nodes.

see thread to register interest: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/05-fee-pools-central-cavern-mining-co-pools-655493

thanks
