Martin Guptil was the star of the match today. He scored 117 runs out of 168 runs, the total score of Quetta Gladiators today.

Karachi kings really needs to win this match as they have already lost two initial matches. They started well in this match and took 4 wickets only for 23 runs, but then Martin Guptil came and showed his magical innings of 117 runs in only 67 balls with a strike rate of 174 runs. I still believe that this inning by Martin can be a match winning one.

Let's see how Karachi kings chases this target in this all important match. This may be do or die for them.

Pakistan young fast bowlers these days have injury issues. Recently we saw Shahaeen Shah and then Haris not available due to injury issues.
It's a good opportunity for Ihsanullah to prove himself that he is fit for the national squad also while also focusing on his fitness.

Thats right he is a hell of a young talent with excellent balling skills and he became prominent in short span of time but he had to take care of his style of balling and save himself from injury.
As fast ballers are prone to injuries as their whole thing is about speed. Pcb should polish this young talent for preparing him for world cup and Asia Cup.

Babar has left karachi because of poor team selection there. I think Quetta under Sarfraz is strong enough to beat Karachi.

Ahhh what i have missed today, just watched the highlights crazy match. Very impressive shots by Rizwan and Rossow as always. 66 and 74 runs by both players in order. The 210 total was the highest I think and really that total was not easy to deal with. In the first half end, i was expecting from the highlights that Multan is going to win.

But when Haris started hitting shorts from 3rd ball I was like, again my prediction is going to be wrong, and Saim Ayub what a crazy boy, and what style he got absolutely next shining star. After 3rd wicket loss match was in a clear direction that Somehow Multan is going to win and here we go in the end Multan won with easy efforts.

Zulmi lost by the fielding side and Multan is a beast in the batting lineup and Bowling attack I think the most powerful Bowling attack in S8 is in Multan's hands. So for the Finals i am expecting again Zulmi vs Multan that will be crazy again.

Multan played very well and set Peshawar Zalmi a target of 210 runs. Targeting 210 runs in a T20 match is a big deal. But Peshawar Zalmi lost all their wickets for just 154 runs so they lost to Multan Sultan by a huge margin. The difference in runs between the two teams was 56 runs. Peshawar Zalmi scored 154 runs in 18.5 overs. Even if they could have played the entire 20 overs, it would have been impossible to score 56 runs in the remaining 7 balls. Peshawar Zalmi failed to collect big runs so they could not score more runs and fill the target

I think Multan look far good from start just like they batting it's absolute disaster for all Zalmi bowlers especially Zalmi main bowler and former captain wahab Riaz who leak too much runs against rossow and Rizwan.
Soory to say but all forner big names which Peshawer Zalmi have rather than TKC are shit they can't even bat like Pakistani younger saim ayub and haris, when Haris and saim ayub were on crease they totally control the game but after Haris runs out no forner big name stay on pitch long, like Powell, and rajapaksa. But last credit goes to Multan batters as well as bowler .

Zalmi got the start they wanted in Chase of 210 runs, but middle order batting couldn't take advantage of that. I don't think Shan Masood deserve a chance in T20 format as he is a test player but as Ramiz Raja (ex chairmen PCB) says there is lot of pressure to include Shan Masood in playing 11. That's the main reason we are seeing him in PSL also. His presence is overcome by players like Rizwan and Rilee Rossouw.

First Multan sultan scored 210 runs but Peshawar Zalmi are chasing this equally well and they are keeping up with the required run rate. Baber Azam got out early but other players are not giving up this match.

Almost all the matches played till now are entertaining and we are having cricket fear in our country.

Yes.. the way they batted was amazing. This is the first 200 plus total in this season (In the second match, Zalmi got really close with a total of 199). Rilee Rossouw seems to be in exceptional form, and he is back from an excellent season with Pretoria Capitals in the SA20 tournament. And then the captain (Mohammad Rizwan) scored valuable 66 runs. BTW, Peshawar Zalmi has started really well. After 6.3 overs, they are 69/1, with Mohammad Haris and Saim Ayub looking in great form. Ihsanullah meanwhile picked the wicket of Babar Azam.

Zalmi won their first match and this one is their second. Multan lost their first one, but then they had a win against Quetta Gladiators. At this point, both the teams have almost equal chances (win probability for Multan Sultans is given at 74% in ESPN-Cricinfo).

Today Multan Sultans batted amazingly in Pakistan Super League. I first thought Multan Sultans will score 145 runs today but Multan Sultans scored 210 runs in 20 overs. After watching the game I am really surprised. I think Multan Sultan will win today's match very easily. It will win. Because Multan Sultan team has strong bowling along with batsmen. Multan Sultans started well in the 5th match of Pakistan Super League 2023. Now the score is getting bigger. If this continues, it is not unusual to cross 200 runs in this match. However, T20 matches do not take time to turn around. Multan Sultans managed to score 106 runs by batting only 11 overs so far they have lost only 1 wicket. PSL is doing very well in this session. Each team is playing to their full strength. After all today's we may enjoy another competitive match.

As we have seen in this PSL, teams need to score high in order to win the matches as pitches are mostly batting friendly. Multan sultan have scored over 200 runs today and it was an entertaining innings to watch. Mohammad Rizwan scored 66 runs and Rilee Rossouw scored 75 runs which helped Multan Sultan team to reach 210 runs in their first innings.

Multan sultan have played two matches and win one match and lost one, where as Peshawar Zalmi has one their only match which they have played. This is an important match for both teams and i feel Multan team has an edge in this match as they have given gigantic target to the opponents.
