OK, I held my coins much longer, but not long enough. I entered crypto at the end of 2013, in 2014 things were much, much faster, coins could go 10x, 50x in matter of weeks, so I didn't think holding my coins for years is good idea and I sold big percentage of them during pumps, just to find out few months/ year later that they were pumped even more. And don't forget BTC rise in 2017, anyone who sold before that lost a lot of potential profit.
OP probably can and will move on, but not everyone can do this, I invested in 3 coins few years ago saying these are my last crypto investements, one coin died, another one I lost because of personal problems/ health issues/ theft (all of these played a role) and third one I sold too early losing life changing profits.
