Particl needs your help!
We've applied to a remittance tech competition and believe we stand a pretty good chance to win it in front of a panel of judges.
The panel of judges is, however, only the second step to determine the winning project.
The first step is a popular vote. That is why we need your help in getting as many votes as possible so that we can qualify to move on to the next round and be judged by a panel of experts in the remittance industry.
We've been recommended to participate to this competition at Consensus by someone that is well connected and working right in this industry.
The winning project will get a free invitation to present the project at the IMTC EMEA 2019 conference in London, a global conference uniting some of the key people in the remittance industry.

a month later it's still "a few days away"
The marketplace has been running and has been demonstrated on mainnet for the entire duration of the NYC Blockchain Week. The public release has to be pushed a little as we are still finalizing the last few tests so that we can be sure there is no issue that appears after we release it publicly.

Important announcement for everyone here!
We would like to announce that the Particl Portal will be closing down at the end of May. After supporting it for two years, we will be willing to manually support the unclaimed PART that are still left unclaimed for another 3 months, after which the funds will not be able to be claimed anymore.
What you Need to Know
- To claim your PART coins, send an email to [email protected] with your PART address as the message’s body.
- You must use the same email you’ve registered to the Particl Portal with.
- PART coins will be sent on the 1st day of each month.
- The last day of payouts will be the 1st of October 2019.
Any remaining funds will be owned by the community. The Particl community will be able to decide on what to do with these funds by using Particl Desktop’s proposal system.

Just wanted to come her and give you a small summary of our latest Development Update that we've published on our blog today.
The Open Marketplace is nearly ready for mainnet. All of the features intended to be part of the first mainnet version of the marketplace have been integrated, and there's only the buy-flow (since it was affected by the recent integration of the OMP Library) that hasn't had its entire suite of automated integration tests completed.
• The blind escrow system (private transactions) has been successfully implemented
• The team is finishing up the last few OMP Library integration tests
• Particl Desktop will then need a day or two of tweaks
• There will then be one final testnet build before the Open Marketplace is considered mainnet-ready
• (Bonus) RingCT Bulletproofs audit started by Quarkslab (Audited OpenSSL, OpenVPN, VeraCrypt, Monero's Bulletproofs, and etc)
