Mine at Jonny's Pool

The pool is running on OVH in Montreal - so hosted in neither US nor India.  I wouldn't put much faith in the info posted in the first post.  He largely copied my pool's announcement and changed a few things.

OP - Again, congrats on finding the block.  I suggest you spend a whole lot of time learning what being a pool operator means, and especially how to maintain and address issues with the software you're using.  For example, how are you going to address the problem you have with your round statistics?  Here's a hint: 2^31 - 1.

Another thing... I'm quite sure your pool vardiff is not running the range you claim in your OP - you simply copied my pool announcement.  Might want to actually lookup the ranges and post correct information.

Finally I wanted to address this post of yours:

the pool is made on the same github code that's why and other pools will be like that to but they will be different in colors and if you think that we have copied the pool then you don't have any knowledge in bitcoin pool

Yeah... except it's not.  Whoever you purchased the pool from (see your own site's footer for that information) used an old copy of the MPOS github code and changed at the very least the footer - which by the way is not cool since he didn't actually write the software.

Don't go around bashing people about not having knowledge in bitcoin pools.  Purchasing a pool solution doesn't make you knowledgable.  In fact, it makes you appear quite the opposite since the software you are using is open source and freely available on github.

why?  it looks like only 3 people mine there they could all be the op.

While I rather not offer to escrow for the block.  The op said he had 10 btc and this block is 25 btc so he has more the 25 coins in hand.

He could escrow to some one trusted if he chose to.

He did not offer  before the block or after the block.

So basically hitting this block makes him look  less reliable not more.

the top three hashers for block 2

1      patelsminingpool   2,769,559,669
2      Omjanu                      618,933,540
3      santito                         6,690,195

So the op is once again at a 80% share of the new block  and only 2 other miners

the people who mine there they trust us we thats why they are mining there and we have paid many bitcoin for 1st block to people you can see that we did pay and thats why people trust us

Congrats on finding your first block.  Of course, since you found it, you didn't have to give away the block finder's bonus coin or miners.  At least now you'll have enough coin in your wallet to actually pay somebody the bonus and purchase the miners.

By the way... you haven't actually paid anybody yet since the block hasn't matured.

you can see now the block is confirmed

Glad to hear their block matured. Now will anyone jump and take a chance on this pool?

yes you are right that the block is not matured but after it is matured in 2 hours you can go to my pool site and see Statistics and under Statistics go to round and you will see all payouts that my pool did at 0% pool fees and also we had putted the promotion because we had 10 btc already and 10 miners to giveaway we were not waiting to find a block and then buy it

also thank you very much

But dont you want the s7, a6, and 5BTC bonus if you solve a block here?  Grin

Might as well pull an Oprah and offer all miners a new car, because no one is buying it.

As kano said small pools

or  http://www.bcmonster.com/

I have mined at bravo-mining and have always been paid

My favorite small pool is

http://mmpool.org/

https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/mmpoolorg-15-fee-dgmpps-tx-feesvardiffmerge-minetor-559011

I have mined there for quite a while

all three of these pools are run by guys that pay the blocks they  hit.

they all have some nice quirks for fun and deserve some support.

along with a bigger pool like kano.is

https://kano.is/
https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/kanopool-kanois-lowest-09-fee-since-2014-worldwide-2432-blocks-789369

or a ballsy pool like solo from ck.
http://solo.ckpool.org/
https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/yh-solockpoolorg-2-fee-solo-mining-usade-255-blocks-solved-763510

The five pools above are really all anyone needs for btc.

please avoid antpool, f2pool, btcc pool

Thank you -ck

Heh - you forgot to include confirmation of this bounty received in your escrow terms:
...we will also give away an antminer s7 and avalon 6 miner if some one find a block...

IMHO even complete newbie like me can blow up this "offer" by simply asking how pool with 0% fee can afford 5BTC bonus for every block for a year, not to mention above miner give-away.

As with all new pool announcements from absolutely brand new forum members: No one in their right mind should trust their hashes with your pool and you are almost certainly yet another scammer or even the same scammer trying his luck again. Given the history of scams from similar announcements in the past, I have offered them an escrow service to prove they are legitimate and will offer you the same. If you expect people with millions of dollars worth of hardware to dedicated 10s of thousands of dollars worth of hashrate to your pool, you should prove your worth. As I am one of the most known members of the bitcoin mining community, if you give me 25.5 bitcoin I will hold it in escrow till you find your first block and every miner on your pool has successfully received their first payout, and the prizes are given out, I will return 25 bitcoin to you, keeping my fee. None of this guarantees you won't run off with the 2nd block or beyond but at least will instil some confidence should you accept it. As I am certain you will not accept the terms of this escrow, claiming you don't have that much in bitcoin, then you are neither worthy of controlling people's hashes, nor should anyone trust you. Thanks and goodbye. I urge all miners to steer far and wide from this scam.

Prop payout pool means 2 things:
1) He has NO idea what he's doing
2) Coz prop means anyone can hop the pool and guarantee to increase their share PPS by taking from the share PPS of long term miners.

Stay away!

If you want a small pool use JonnyBravo or BCMonster - not a noob pool that has no idea about payout schemes.

... but if they weren't considering ever paying anyone then I guess their payout scheme doesn't matter ...

i know what is PROP payouts and they are the best and they pay more to miners it is just that it will pay out after the block is found

They say imitation is the most sincere form of flattery.

Here's directly from my pool thread's first post:

So, if you're looking for somewhere to point your hash, give us a try.  You aren't going to get scammed, bamboozled, swindled or defrauded here.  Proof is in the pudding: we've found our first block and miners were paid.

Thanks, and I look forward to seeing some of you there.

Look familiar?

This guy has been emailing us trying to buy our pool for peanuts.

Your pool has paid 5 blocks so people have some trust in you.
If he offered 1 or 2 coins.  Please let us know.

I do not say he is a bad guy,but pay two coins for a pool with 1 ph or more of hash power could be a nice way to run off with a block.

It wasn't 1-2 coins but it was low enough where if he ran off with a block he would yield a nice profit for sure. His offer couldn't even cover server costs nor domain costs combined.
