If you have that capabilities and a positive vibes with something that you think you can excel, I like that idea where you stop and pause for a while and reflect to yourself if what mistake did you and try to change up for the betterment of your strategy, just like what you mentioned if you manage to figure it out and able to both control your emotions and your finances, then there's a good chance that you migh both gain that enjoyment and chances of making some bucks out from your gambling activities.
For me it is easier to control finances, numbers, expenses, balance, than emotions, honestly it is like that, and I have tried to control emotions, but it is very difficult, and that I have tried under many rules but no, in the end one as a human gets carried away by other types of things that are not good, it is more about thinking with reason than putting feeling, impulses, sometimes I think that many players create robots, because robots do not experience emotions, but if there are no emotions I think there is no fun either, it is something ambiguous, that is why until now I have not achieved a better strategy than controlling money to play.
