Timing will be needed but patience can be apply in anytime. What you did is waiting for the right time to place your bet and we can do that when we gets some prediction from other people. Waiting for the time to bet is also part of patience because you need to wait for the right time so you can place your bet. Sometime our feeling tells us to wait for a while but we ignore that and place our bet in rush without thinks what can happens to us.
