I hope that the acceptance by PayPal will change the mindset of some of the regressive governments, such as the one we have here in India. For the past two-three years, there have been rumors that Bitcoin will be banned by the government. Till now, no such ban has been imposed. But ordinary Bitcoin users face all sort of harassment. Hopefully the acceptance by big corporations such as PayPal will put an end to this.

Paypal news might be point that helps recent surge up of bitcoin however bunches of things going on in the crypto space. History as well. Its following a similar pattern after the last halving. People are starting to believe the paypal news is bigger but It wasn't just PayPal.

Paypal doing this move might also lead other payment systems to integrate other Cryptocurrencies too. Ethereum would be most likely to follow this trend since it has a better system being integrated with other Systems. Lets just hope that Paypal pushes their development so people can fully use and learn what Cryptocurrencies are about since most people might be spooked by that added feature.

Another good news for me as a PayPal user, there are plenty of options now where will I withdraw money since those I've gained are saved in my bank. Paypal has a lot of users and most of the platforms nowadays have PayPal payment options so it'll become easier.

Now it's possible for the other platforms to do the same since PayPal will make it happen.
I also hope that they fixed those errors in their platform since their going in the cryptocurrency path.

What i see positive from this announcement is the large numbers(potential investors) of the PayPal company, we all know that they have a huge number of investors around the globe and for them coming into the industry is a welcome development, even though personally i hate their service formally. It was really a good news to hear that paypal will accept cryptocurrency and people will be able to buy and sell using their platform. But what about the kyc process, is it like in crypto exchange or like in a bank that they will suddenly hold your funds and freeze your account if you are using a large amount of money in crypto? Hope, it's not, so that people will continue to trust on paypal and the impact of it to crypto market will be great.

PayPal is making Bitcoins available only for those users who has undergone the KYC process previously. Obviously there is always a chance that your account will get locked up. But that is one of the risks which will always be there if you want to use PayPal. If you ask me, I would say PayPal is good if we want to attract new users. A lot of these users may shift to other exchanges such as KuCoin and Binance later.

paypal isnt convenient but its a little but hassel because they request kyc and they request authentication if ever they locked your account for less known reasons . by using paypal we dont help decentralization grow but this help the centralization rather because paypal is not decentralize .

and how can we sure its a goodnews when paypal users chose paypal at the first place because they dont like crypto . this update will have no impact to those users but they will just ignore it

But there exists a large group of people, for whom purchasing and storing Bitcoins is easier if it is done through the PayPal platform. Obviously if you opt for them, then you need to compromise with privacy and other aspects. But then once again, no one is forcing you. If you want to use PayPal, then you can.
