Personally i prefer Bitcoin than Paypal , because using bitcoin we enjoy many features not available with the Paypal, and also with Paypal there is the chargeback risk, which isn't possible if we use Bitcoin

What do you think of if paypal also use bitcoin as a payment option? Will that increase the adoption of bitcoin?

Paypal because it has been existence than the other. However, this does not rule out bitcoins because people are tired of restriction(s).

Talking about restriction's there are other services like leupay, advcash which tend  to me more restrictive than paypal.I'm sure they will blow the whistle louder when they get more popular just like UNCLE PP

NOTE: In regard's to paypal's restriction's, i was able to  resolved every issue iever had with them in the past whereas,my first case is still hanging with Leupay support team without further notification.

Well both not all online shops accept bitcoin.
But in the future I will love to use use bitcoin for online shopping if that ever happens.

In my case I will go with bitcoin only as you. Because Paypal is nothing in front of  bitcoin. Paypal are using by the large number of people than bitcoin. But bitcoin is highly profitable for the common user than paypal. It is very easy to handle as well.

well open bazar is coming and purse.io is basically amazon accepting bitcoin

so you basically have no excuse to use bitcoin in this year, there are plenty of services overall, people are just lazy and keep using fiat...
True, many sites that already accepted bitcoin as a payment option, but most people actually prefer to use fiat money such as use bank wire,
people are just lazy using bitcoin

Some credits got cash back bonus. So I use those credits  quite lot. I use bitcoin just to support the network and community.

when you know bitcoin then at that moment you will begin to leave paypal.
many reasons why people still survive on paypal, when it was clear that bitcoin, better than paypal
of course they have their own reasons, I ever ask someone that PayPal is more secure compared bitcoin

Let's face it. Paypal is scared about bitcoin.

They even made use of bitcoin in your paypal account illegal.

They should be scared though, since bitcoin has more features.

I heard several times in the past year that Paypal or Ebay is going to use bitcoin, is it not true? They can use bitcoin just like fiat.

its never gonna happen, why paypal will destroy its self paypal is only above then its competitors like payza or perfect money or similar because of ebay, ebay have huge traffic and sales monstly done with paypal if ebay accepting bitcoins paypal gonna fall

Bitcoin is just a currency if you do not consider the payment network. So in the eye of payal, there is no difference between paypal and other fiat. They can use it.

IIRC, I'm not sure but I read an article on the Internet last year that they now allow PayPal merchants to use Bitcoin.
I found the article while typing this post, you can read it here.

PayPal are too greedy with their 2-4% transaction fees + currency conversion fees + your mother fees.
100% Bitcoin. With ~4c/transaction its like heaven Smiley

I think when you pay a friend with paypal, it is free in my country. If I accept payment as a ebay seller, the fee is higher if the buyer pay with credit card.

Transaction costs the same as a bank.
I also have a paypal account but until now has not neglected because it is very difficult to get the money there. Unlike bitcoin easy to earn money.
As far as I can paypal transaction took days, in contrast to bitcoin very fast and profitable for users

But not secure for your identity
yeah I think it's the biggest problem paypal, but paypal do not be careless to disclose the identity of users, right ?
it is not a problem for most users

I love Paypal if its from my bank converting to Paypal fund to pay, but if it's from Paypal funds convert to fiat and deposit to my bank account, there's too much fee's involve.

Both of them are good and both of them have pros and cons.
One of the feature that i like paypal is that it is instant and buyer protection.
And the feature that i like bitcoin is the "anonymity" and the community using bitcoin.
I also like the buyer protection, but as a seller, you face many difficulties becouse of "unjustified" protection, when the customers scam you when they actually get the product and charge back. Even worse, chargeback with credit card company, so you have to pay even more fees.
But as a buyer, i also tend to feel safer with paypal. Unless with known stores/people.
For the sellers if you are a honest seller and deliver what you promise then you should not worry about it.
As long as you have the proof that you delivered the product it's ok, but some people just lose time to chargeback.

...

If more merchants adopt Bitcoin, then it will probably win!  I hope so.  I have heard of too many problems w/ PayPal.  Less private too.

I have bought gold from providentmetals.com and veldtgold.com (latter has a thread in here somewhere) with success with BTC.  For the moment that is all I need.

But, for BTC to become MOAR successful, merchants need to step up and accept it.
