Could someone help me out here.

Just trying to set up phoenix miner for the first time and its having problems finding any pools to connect to. I've had a decent search but cant find anyone with a similar problem.

This is my start_miner.bat file

setx GPU_FORCE_64BIT_PTR 0
setx GPU_MAX_HEAP_SIZE 100
setx GPU_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS 1
setx GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 100
setx GPU_SINGLE_ALLOC_PERCENT 100

PhoenixMiner.exe -pool eth.cruxpool.com:5555 -wal 0x9ca41068c6c56550720a68f8d67edc6ae94b8641 -worker RiggyONE

I've tried several different pools, spark and ethpool all with same result.

This is the log file thats created

Hey, anyone got a stable setting without BIOS modding for a MSI Armor RX 580 8gb??

I'm using the following on my dag:

-gt 0 -mt 1 -cclock 1200 -cvddc 900 -mclock 2080 -mvddc 925

and i'm getting 28,1 mh/s but my effective @ ethermine goes arround almost half of this..

Any ideia what that could be or if that's normal? Huh Huh

Hello everyone.

So I have a rig with 1080Ti and I downloaded Ethenlargmentpillr2 and of course it worked but it was a TROJAN virus and I downloaded it from a legit link on this site from GitHub. After a week I saw someone on the screen moving the mouse going through my browser passwords trying to log into Binance. Anyway. He couldn't and I removed all passwords. It worked fine but 2 days later the rig crashed and everyone was deleted all my software and desktop icons. Windows want even working right.

Anyway, long story short I heard that Pheonix now has -straps option that would do the same thing. Of course it needs admin so if the rig reboots I have to start it manually. But that's ok. The pill was the same.

So on my 1080Ti
I normally get only 32Mh over locked to 2000 for core and 5500 for memory.

I tried - straps 1 it crashed
I tried - straps 2 it increased to 39, not quite as 47 like I had with Ethenlargmentpillr2
I tried - straps 3 and it crashed and artifacted almost instantly

So I was hoping I can raise attention to the virus (took me 12 hours to reinstall windows and drivers and set up everything over)

And I was hoping someone can help me get back to 47 My/s on my 1080Ti by just using Pheonix. Everyone says switch tovTRex but I'm used to Pheonix.

Thanks everyone!

I have 5x 1080Ti running at 46.5Mhs at 210w, i use +150/+650 88% POWER OC settings and -staps 2

If anyone knows a better OC setting please share.

Thanks. I only get 39 MH, with the Pill I was getting 47 but wont run that ever again.

Can u send your bat file ?
(the pill and "-straps 2" its the same

Here it is (if I use Straps 2 it artifacts and crashes in 5 seconds and 3 crashes too)
My card is a Gigabyte Turbo 11G its the FE style blower:

setx GPU_FORCE_64BIT_PTR 0
setx GPU_MAX_HEAP_SIZE 100
setx GPU_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS 1
setx GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 100
setx GPU_SINGLE_ALLOC_PERCENT 100

PhoenixMiner.exe -pool us1.ethermine.org:14444 -wal .rig001 -gpureset 1 - straps 1

you have a space between - and straps. not sure if you copy/pasted but that would be a problem.

Hi guys! I need help with this

I have a 5600 xt sapphire, I was using the last drivers of amd, 2021 version (not sure which), and phoenix miner 5.5c and:
After I flashed the bios of the youtber: Red Panda Mining, the video is called "BIOS MOD for the RX 5600 XT For Ethereum Mining" I follow the things I have to change in the bios, video: ULTIMATE 5600xt Ethereum Mining Guide, by: Son of a tech

So, the bios worked, I started phoenix miner and instead of use 78-79W, now with this new Bios Im using 120 W (reported both by Radeon Software and Phoenix miner), and I undervolted to 690 with More Power tool, rebot and,Randeon software shows 690-690-690, and still at 120W power usage reported by radeon software and phoenix miner. I just flashed the previous Bios for my sapphire 5600 xt, and undervolted to 680, Radeo SW reports 679-679-679 in options, and while Im farming it show in the single display 681mv. So now the Power consumption reported by both programs again, is 73W. Not sure what I did wrong, but for 3.9 more Mhash, at the cost of like 30W more, dont worth for me.

EDIT: okay, Im trying it again: 43.8 Mhash, at the cost of 120W and temp 44°-45°, but the temp is the same like when I was using the stock Bios (just modified with More Power Tool, results was like 40.3 Mhash at 77-78W and temp 45°). This is a visual bug? I will try to add screenshots.
EDIT 2: screenshots

Now Im using the drivers: 20.12.1

Don't take into consideration what the SW (driver) says about power consumption. Use a kill-a-watt and measure it a the wall. You should get the same power at wall for both non-modded and modded bios, just the Mhs is higher in case of the modded bios. I did the same for my 5600 XT sapphire Nitro cards and all are hashing at around 41.3 Mhs (43.8 was not stable long term) @ 95W at wall.

Hi guys,

not sure whether this is the right place to ask. But I'm not getting further with my GPU issue. So I hope you don't mind that I give it a try.

I've recently purchased a used RX 590, BIOS modded and overclocked (OverdriveNTool) it. It's working quite okay with Nicehash, making around 30 MH/s with +/- 90 W.

Now I wanted to use ist with the latest PhoenixMiner 5.5c, but it is not properly recogized. First it showed some CUDA error which made me to downgrade the AMD driver as suggested to 20.11.1.

Now it is showing the RX 590 as there were two of them installed which is not the case:

Quote
CUDA version: 11.0, CUDA runtime: 8.0
OpenCL driver version: 20.7-10/20.11.1
Available GPUs for mining:
GPU1: Radeon RX 590 Series (pcie 1), OpenCL 2.0, 8 GB VRAM, 36 CUs
GPU2: Radeon RX 590 Series (pcie 1), OpenCL 2.0, 8 GB VRAM, 36 CUs
...

The displayed performance is also pretty week (assumed the values are real anyway):

Quote
GPUs: 1: 4.359 MH/s (1) 2: 4.417 MH/s (0)
GPU1: 50C 44% 53W, GPU2: 50C 44% 53W

The .bat is:
Quote
PhoenixMiner.exe -pool eu1.ethermine.org:4444 -wal XXX -worker XXX -epsw x -mode 1 -log 0 -mport 0 -etha 0 -ftime 55 -retrydelay 1 -tt 79 -tstop 89  -coin eth

pause

I have a second card (NVIDIA) running, which is working properly.

Many thanks for any advise.

Sunny greeting from Berlin

Hey guys,

After successfully tweaked a RX 480 8gb to do ~29 mh/s @ 85w, I got hands at a RX 5600 Asrock, with with the following settings:

- cclock= 1400 MHz
- cvddc= 930 mV
- mclock= 1800 MHz
- mvddc= 850 mV

Getting 39.143 MH/s and Effective speed @ ethermine ~ 39.73- 45 mh/s, consuming 103w and 200w @ the wall.

And it's stable for about 49 hours straight.

Does someone has a better config? I was playing around on some clocks and vddc but this are the only ones that I found that were stable enough to make through a +24hrs.

FYI, just waiting for some risers to throw the both AMD's and a Gigabyte 1060 on a rig  Grin Grin
Hi, what configuration do you have on RX 480 8GB?

I'm playing safe on the gpu's, so that's my .bat config:

-coin eth -gt 67 -proto 3 -tstop 67 -tstart 55 -mt 1 -log 0 -cclock 1150 -cvddc 950 -mclock 2080 -mvddc 950

That's stable +100 hrs ezy, @samsung memory

I have this problem and I am not solving it --»

GPU2: Disabling DAG pre-allocation (not enough VRAM) Huh

try increasing your virtual memory, follow these steps:

- Search for performance and appearance on windows

- tab advanced

-  virtual memory

- turn off automatically manage...

- set something like initial size (the recommended below) and maximum 30000 mb

and also chose the visual effects for performance

I would also recommend to install the Adrenaline 20.11.2 driver, and phoenix miner 5.5c (latest), this driver and miner are stable for all my 3 amd cards (rx 480, rx 580 and rx 5600xt)

does anyone know why rtx 2060 hashrates on hiveos are lower than with windows 10?

running Pheonix 5.5c on win10, I have o/c memory to +1200, core -100, and I get about 33 MH/s

on hiveos, it drops to 31 MH/s

i thought that it would've been better.

Does anyone have any suggestions to get more?  I see people bragging about getting 32-34mh but if I try to boost more I start getting blue screens....

Are there any plans to implement a delay to overclocking with PhoenixMiner until after the DAG is generated? My RTX 3070 can run with VRAM at +1350 with no issues, but I have to manually set it to default clocks when launching the miner, wait for the DAG to be generated, then manually overclock it after it's done. If I let PhoenixMiner apply the OC settings when it starts, it overclocks the memory before the DAG is generated and then almost every share is rejected, defeating the purpose of PhoenixMiner being able to overclock. Besides that, running for extended periods means eventually the DAG will need to be regenerated, and if it keeps the high overclock, it'll just continue to barf out errors instead of generating the new DAG and going back to mining.

So, are there any plans to implement a delay to overclocking until after the DAG is generated?

Read on the first page. It was added at 5.5C.
You can read the changelog or the complete list of parameters to see more options to deal with de DAG.
