I have an Armor rx570 8gb(Samsung).

I have tried several setups and cannot get above 28mh. The BIOS is not modded. My script is:

PhoenixMiner.exe -epool  us1.ethermine.org:4444 -ewal xxx.xxx -acm -gpus 1 -rxboost 1 -tstop 70 -r 1 -tt 60 -cclock 1150 -cvddc 850 -mclock 2100 -mvddc 850

Does anyone have any suggestions to get more?  I see people bragging about getting 32-34mh but if I try to boost more I start getting blue screens....

Thanks

Hello everyone.

So I have a rig with 1080Ti and I downloaded Ethenlargmentpillr2 and of course it worked but it was a TROJAN virus and I downloaded it from a legit link on this site from GitHub. After a week I saw someone on the screen moving the mouse going through my browser passwords trying to log into Binance. Anyway. He couldn't and I removed all passwords. It worked fine but 2 days later the rig crashed and everyone was deleted all my software and desktop icons. Windows want even working right.

Anyway, long story short I heard that Pheonix now has -straps option that would do the same thing. Of course it needs admin so if the rig reboots I have to start it manually. But that's ok. The pill was the same.

So on my 1080Ti
I normally get only 32Mh over locked to 2000 for core and 5500 for memory.

I tried - straps 1 it crashed
I tried - straps 2 it increased to 39, not quite as 47 like I had with Ethenlargmentpillr2
I tried - straps 3 and it crashed and artifacted almost instantly

So I was hoping I can raise attention to the virus (took me 12 hours to reinstall windows and drivers and set up everything over)

And I was hoping someone can help me get back to 47 My/s on my 1080Ti by just using Pheonix. Everyone says switch tovTRex but I'm used to Pheonix.

Thanks everyone!

I have 5x 1080Ti running at 46.5Mhs at 210w, i use +150/+650 88% POWER OC settings and -staps 2

If anyone knows a better OC setting please share.

If you want to get ~49-50 MHs you have to increase the PL to 230W, it's because of the DAG file. In the past you could get 50MHs with 190W but now.... Let's hope NVidia will fix the drivers and we will get again 50 @190W  Smiley

Are there any plans to implement a delay to overclocking with PhoenixMiner until after the DAG is generated? My RTX 3070 can run with VRAM at +1350 with no issues, but I have to manually set it to default clocks when launching the miner, wait for the DAG to be generated, then manually overclock it after it's done. If I let PhoenixMiner apply the OC settings when it starts, it overclocks the memory before the DAG is generated and then almost every share is rejected, defeating the purpose of PhoenixMiner being able to overclock. Besides that, running for extended periods means eventually the DAG will need to be regenerated, and if it keeps the high overclock, it'll just continue to barf out errors instead of generating the new DAG and going back to mining.

So, are there any plans to implement a delay to overclocking until after the DAG is generated?

Warning - virus inside of the software 5.5d 😡

It's a fake that someone keeps making new accounts to post. Don't download anything from new accounts. Might be helpful to put a warning up somewhere.

Not only new accounts. It appears that someone is hacking older accounts as well and using those in an attempt to get downloads to their malware...

ONLY download from the 1st post in this thread!!

I just downloaded the miner the other day from the link on the OP from mega.nz.  The supplied integrity hash on the OP does not match the file i downloaded. Also what does the OIE.exe and OIE.dll do? My AV doesnt like them one bit.  I am concerned as I have read posts about people having there rigs infected or remotely controlled.

hi. sometimes (usually after 5 or 6 days of mining with phoenixminer 5.5c) the reported hashrate goes up suddenly by 3 or 2 and the worker crashes with this error of Whatman software 20.11.2: an unknown error happened and the default values are restored for 8 GPUs(5700xt).does anybody has the same issue?

I think I need a working bat file for this latest phoenix miner, when I tried to run it I always get error and the funny part is the miner is working through Nicehash software but low hashrate so I would prefer to run things myself and use another pool

I accidentally downloaded the malware 5.5d hotfix file from the spam user... any advice or is this really bad and all my info is compromised?

I hope the infected system is not your personal computer. If it just a mining ring, it's not a big problem.
Otherwise, i recommand to format and reinstall Windows. and like says UserU, change all passwords!

Always choose the download link on the first topic page.

 Wink

The original link is removed. Thats why so many, including me, are downloaded viruses from all over the place. The one I downblaoded looked legit on bitcointalk and had Github and everything. And worked perfectly until after a week I saw someone had done remote desktop and was using my rig, as soon as I VNC'd into my rig ,he stopped but I could see all the browser and tabs he had opened and the Chrome password page he was trying to log into Binance, but he had not gotten the password yet and I removed all passwords from chrome and continued. And next day I think he came back and literally deleted windows files, all desktop icons, all miner software and I had to spend 12 HOURS today formatting, reinstalling everything, windows, drivers, cuda, MSI, virtually memory, vnc, o my tons of stuff.

So this time I did the - straps 2 but only goes to 39 the enlargement pill did 47

Hey guys,

After successfully tweaked a RX 480 8gb to do ~29 mh/s @ 85w, I got hands at a RX 5600 Asrock, with with the following settings:

- cclock= 1400 MHz
- cvddc= 930 mV
- mclock= 1800 MHz
- mvddc= 850 mV

Getting 39.143 MH/s and Effective speed @ ethermine ~ 39.73- 45 mh/s, consuming 103w and 200w @ the wall.

And it's stable for about 49 hours straight.

Does someone has a better config? I was playing around on some clocks and vddc but this are the only ones that I found that were stable enough to make through a +24hrs.

FYI, just waiting for some risers to throw the both AMD's and a Gigabyte 1060 on a rig  Grin Grin
Hi, what configuration do you have on RX 480 8GB?

I'm playing safe on the gpu's, so that's my .bat config:

I'm pretty sure you can get 41 mh and under 60W power draw with 5600

Yeah I can get that sweet 41, although its not stable, and rn i'm trying to avoid some bios mod, and the energy is not a "problem", cause I got solar panels powering my hole house, and I would try to reduce perhaps the voltage and core clock to try to get some lower temps..
