Use staps -2, just make sure that on your minerfolder, the miner.exe has ADMIN

Okay so I would need molex -> 6 pin PCIe converters too? Do I need to power up both, GPU's and risers from PSU? Or does the GPU take power from the riser?

Okay thanks for the replies

I found this on amazon.de: https://www.amazon.de/-/en/gp/product/B07B2LC8K3/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1?smid=A13ZJ94CYI3F7Y&psc=1
That will probably work... And what type of riser is good, a molex, pcie or sata powered one? What i'm thinking is that does my psu run out of molex connectors if the gpu's need power from them..
best=6 pin
ok = molex (one molex to one riser only)
bad = sata (one sata to one riser only)

Hello

I'm looking to connect 3-4 gpu's to my mobo, is this a right splitter where I can connect the risers to? https://www.amazon.de/-/en/4Port-Express-Expansion-Adapter-5Gbps/dp/B08LQ88Y5N/ref=sr_1_9?crid=1OG3SDVRU9G88&dchild=1&keywords=pcie+splitter+bergbau&qid=1613525457&sprefix=pcie+splitter%2Caps%2C168&sr=8-9

If so, does this work on every pcie slot (16x, 4x and 1x)?

(if you are afraid of links, type this to amazon.de: 4Port PCI-E to USB 3.0 HUB PCI Express. It's the one that costs 5.91 eur)
yes it works on every slot

Just registered to post my thoughts!

I’ve been a “reader/browser” for a very long time. Reading and learning, strictly!

But since last few months and 50 pages long, holy crap! So many dumb questions from newbies as dumb as how to turn on their computers!

C’mon!

Reddit is even worse full with same basic questions. I can tell most of these wanna-be miners never even touched computers but ETH price has given them huge erection to pop in!

and whats bad on that? you knew everything? dont post like that.. and dont offtopic..
if you are here to help others go on, or else dont quote any of newbies comments..

act like professional.. not like you are now..

have more questions? you dont like something???

pm no problem

how annoying people like you are, acting like you know everything, dont you even dare to reply this quote

Dude, I am looking at your posts and all I see is how do I do this ... how do I do that!!

Learn to read / search / google before wasting resources.

Each and every one of these kind people who help newbies like yourself used to be newbie but they did their homework first. Read the documentation, learn Windows / Linux whatever OS you want to run your rigs. Then when you hit something difficult, search all these messages first before posting your questions.

Look up annoying and professional then ask me not to be one or act like one!

On the same note, you owe all these people who help you ETH! They give you free advice but do NOT abuse it.

Windows virtual memory set up? How hard is it to grab a calculator and do the math??

No! I don’t know everything but I am wasting so much time jumping topics to topics to learn something NEW - not crappy questions.

And when same people on this very thread ask you to do some stuff on your own by reading previous questions and learn, you lose your temper which proves IF you knew something, you would not bother to even help.

As a matter of fact, even I am trying to teach you something. But, you have no clue what the hell I mean!!!!!

How about we mine ETH for you using own own rigs?? It makes life easier for all of us!!

I have read them, and I know what you mean. However sometimes we might just be bored at home sick and want to help Tongue

Hi all and congrats to the devs pheonix miner is pretty nice been using it since gave up cpu mining lol never though ide be command line overclocking in linux lol

Quick question please have searched around for answer but obv not found one.

My GPU mining rig running ubuntu 18.04 headless and seeking clarity on rmode. Is using option 2 to reboot linux possible or is it windows only?

I ask because unable to get a reboot of linux when wdog shuts Pheonix miner down and docs mention only reboot.bat. I have placed reboot bash scripts in the miner folder named both reboot.sh and reboot.bat, the latter out of shear frustration but i cannot get the system to reboot when wdog closes the miner. Currently using crontab to start miner on reboot.

rmode Selects the restart mode when a GPU crashes or freezes:
0: disabled - miner will shut down instead of restarting
1: restart with the same command line options - this is the default
2: reboot (shut down miner and execute reboot.bat)

Undeads.com - P2E Runner Game
-mclock Set GPU memory clock in MHz (0 for default)

What are the possible values for this field - it seems like using +500 or 1500 doesn't correctly set the values for me ever, I have to do it through other tools.

How many videocards do you have? Example for all or one videocard: -mclock *:1500 // * indicates that all videocards will be used, 1500 will set the video memory frequency to 1500MHz. You can configure it for each videocard separately. For example, -mclock 1:1550,3:1600 // this means that the first card will have a 1550 MHz mclock, and the third one will have 1600.
