how do you know?! as it is not working ONLY for you it seems.
For 99.9999999999% of the people, we just grab the same .bat file and point it to the new phoenixminer.exe and it mines.

if you aren't willing to 1 : provide PROPER information from your setup and 2 TRY something, i don't see why you are wasting our time.

So get rufus and make a USB key with latest Win10 builds available from it. then update it. nvcleaninstall nvidia drivers to whicher drivers your want. and try again.

I have one rig with Win10 x64 20H2 and with Phoenix Miner v5.8b (all cards are old GTX 1070 TI) is working fine. If I put old bat file in Phoenix Miner v5.9 or v6.0 mining isn't staring as I decribed before..

Same situation is with another rig with Win10 x 64 1809 where I have mix of 1070 TI and RTX 2070.... now all is working fine on Phoenix v5.8b and with newer version old bat won't start...
Luckily I do not need new version for now but it is strange why new version do not work...

You do realize that Windows 10 1709 is a fall of 2017 release of Windows 10.   Update to 21H2 at least.

This version of windows is working just fine for me. I also have one rig with latest version and have same issue with latest Phoenix Miner software so it is not related with OS version...

Quote
Drivers are ok, as I said I am using Phoenix Miner after Claymore ended and still using him on severals rigs with v5.8x without anny issue and for updates I just copied old bat file into directory of new version but since v5.9 it is not working like that. In this moment I am ok with v5.8x since I am using old card GTX 1070TI and few RTX 2070 but I wanted to try new version to be prepared for future needs in case I add some newer cards RTX3 or AMD RX66xx...

Whit the old hardware you have now the Windows 10 1709 and an old set of drivers, you should be fine, but for sure you can not found a set of drivers that will support AMD RX66xx cards. I think the Nvidia RTX3xxx series require Windows 10 20H1 or higher too.

It is possible that there is a bug in the new version(s) but we really need the Windows version, and the Nvidia driver version in order to be able to reproduce the problem, and then fix it. You could also try to run the miner while only listing the available GPUs, then post the results here along with Windows and driver versions:

Code:
PhoenixMiner.exe -list

I am using WIn10 1709 x64 and Nvidia drivers are 460.89. Now, I am still using Phoenix Miner v5.8b without any issues but when I tried 5.9c and now 6.0c they are not working with same bat file from v5.8b

Greetings. Who can explain why, after adding 6700xt to the previously working RX478, on the air in Phoenix Miner 5.8c under Windows 10, driver 21.4.1, ping 45-70, Phoenix began pouring stales, (there are no stales on the statistics website 2MINERS.COM) I turn off 6700xt - everything is fine, there are no stales. I don't understand how a new card can do stales?

Using the same OS with the same drivers and command line as in PM5.8 should work in the newer versions. Check for spelling errors in the command line.
Also, the command -straps 1 should work for your GTX 1070TI but is not supported for RTX 2xxx and 3xxx series. So this parameter you may set it up only for the GPUs that support it.
For more help, you need to share more details like OS, Drivers version, hardware.

Check if your nvidia drivers are correctly installed.

My settings for nvidia are:
PhoenixMiner.exe -nvidia -coin eth -pool ssl://eu1.ethermine.org:5555 -pool2 ssl://us1.ethermine.org:5555 -wal wallet.Rig001 -proto 3

Haven´t included the the settings for OC as it depends on your videocard.

What is the -epsw on your command line as I cannot find it in the docs.
Or do you mean -pass for password?

I even tried with default settings and have same issues

PhoenixMiner 6.0c is officially released. You can find the download links and the checksums in this post, or in the first post of this thread.

You can download PhoenixMiner 6.0c from here:

PhoenixMiner_6.0c_Windows.zip
PhoenixMiner_6.0c_Linux.tar.gz

To check the integrity of the downloaded file, please use the following hashes (you need the last file PhoenixMiner_NVRTC_Windows.zip only if you want to mine BCI with Nvdia cards under Windows):

The new features in this release are (since the last official release 5.9d):

  • Implemented partial unlocking of Nvidia LHR cards. By default they are detected automatically, and unlocked with the default unlock intensity (520). If you want to try higher (or lower) LHR unlock intensity, use the new -lhr command line parameter. For example -lhr 580 will try more aggressive unlocking than the default 520 unlock intensity. This parameter may (and should) be specified for each GPU separately as some GPUs can support higher unlocked speeds.
  • If an Nvidia LHR card locks up because of high -lhr (the default 520 will work with most cards), the card will be unlocked again, and the -lhr value will be lowered if necessary
  • Added support for new AMD Windows drivers up to latest driver version 22.2.3
  • Added support for new AMD Linux drivers up to latest driver version 21.50
  • Multiple other small fixes and improvements

The updated list of known issues (driver incompatibilities, etc.) and workarounds:

  • The new Nvidia 3050 and 3080 12GB cards have different kind of LHR lock, which is not supported yet by PhoenixMiner.
  • When mining with LHR cards, the hashrate will start lower and will go up to its normal value in about 2-4 minutes (similar to the auto-tune process on AMD cards).
  • AMD Linux driver 21.40.1 has a bug preventing proper setting of clocks and voltages on older cards (RX4x0/RX5x0/Vega/RadeonVII). Given that these drivers are also usually slower than the older drivers for these cards, we recommend using Linux drivers 20.30 for anything older than RX6000 series.
  • If you are using Linux drivers 21.40.1 with Radeon VII cards, you need to add the option -fpwm 1 in order to have proper fan control.
  • AMD Linux drivers 21.40.1 has finally removed the requirement of PCIe atomics but there are problems when you try to mix Polaris (RX4x0/5x0) cards and Vega or newer cards on the same rig.
  • Some Nvidia cards will report a lot of stale shares under Windows 11. Using the same driver version under Windows 10 resolves the issue.

For more robust integrity check, you can use our GPG public key, which was verifyed with ETH transaction from our main devfee account as explained here: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.56755869. Here are the signatures for the files in this release:

im still using 5.4c version for my old polaris cards.
@phoenix is there any update to add ETH+TON or ETH+ALPH or ETC+TON Smiley

i stopped using phoenix because lack of dual
hoping i can go back to phoenix
please and thanks

Does dual mining really increase rewards that much?  I have always avoided it because the one time I did try, I found that mining a single chain actually produced better results.  Has the tech improved and everyone should be dual mining now, or are there certain cards where this makes sense while others do not?  I'm genuinely curious because all of the miners seem to have dual mining options these days, yet I can't seem to figure out how this would be beneficial when I consider my own results (admittedly a long time ago).  If anyone has any information or a resource to help me learn more about dual mining and if it is worth it, I would be appreciative.  Thanks!

It really depends on what you are dual mining and how well its implemented.  ETH+TON you can mine at same ETH Hash rate as single mining depending on the miner for the cost of 10=20W.  Bad news about TON mining is that it was planned to be short lived and will end in a few months.

I havent tried doing ALPH yet as the profitability is the same as TON at the Moment.

https://www.hashrate.no is a great resource to look at this more.

Thank you.  I had never heard of this before!

I can tell you my personal experience in ETC+ZIL which I dual mined with my 4GB cards and I got like 0.10 ETC plus like 3-4 ZILS,I did it so for a long time then I saw that with that amount of Mhsh I had I would get like 0.05 ETC more daily if I mined only ETC and so I got back to single mining because 0.05 ETC is surely more than 3-4 ZIL which are just 0.20 USD now.Personally I think the only advantage that dual mining has is for people who has LHR cards from Nvidia and miners offering dual mining for LHR cards somewhat gave better rewards in terms of dollar daily.

yes zil mining you loose because it stops mining etc and switches to zil, i asked along time ago is there any way dual mine zil but dev said no. About ton and alph is good if you start in the beggining right now it gives some extra cents for each card but you are not loosing anything like in etc+zil
