Hey PhoenixMiner, ever since the last ETH Epoch and the new 3.98GB DAG, I am seeing a slowdown on all my mining graphics cards. It varies from 5 - 10% depending on the card type and other settings. I am using version 5.3b. Any explanations as what could be the reason for this slowdown?

The slowdown remain after re-booting.

Same problem here and other users reported too,

Greetings, I hope you can help me solve this problem since the only way I can solve it is by restarting the platform.

could not connect to ethash pool PhoenixMiner -epool eth-eu1.nanopool.org:9999. An operation on a socket could not be performed because the system lacked sufficient buffer space or because a queue was full
the error appears every 20 hours and the only thing I can do is restart
Sorry my bad english
more information is required, which operating system, how much memory is in the system, is the amount of virtual memory increased, how many video cards are running, all the contents of the batch file
no more information is required.it is not related with virtual memory or bat file. this error maybe is virus or bug when you run 2 bat files at the same time. ports are not closing after devfee mining then it connects 2nd devfee then 3rd then 4th finally it runs out then you get this error.

I can run 2, 3, 4 instances of phönixminer at the same rig. So i think you make a mistake.

You say it is the port, but you say you have disabled your firewall, so how it can be the ports?  Huh

i think it is your virtual memory, but without any information about your system or how much cards and so on.

you:
but I dont know how to disable auto-tune = -gt 0

Yeah, on win it`s easy Smiley I don`t know if I can use "flags -gt 0" will disable auto-tune ! I`ll try tomorrow Wink

You are using miner-manager
https://github.com/cynixx3/third-party-miner-installer-for-ethos

to install phoenixminer and get it to properly show up in panel / etc.  Ive not seen any ill effect to auto-tune but you can use flags easy enough
in your local config (or if using remote config change there for the rig) after you have installed miner-manager with the command lines from near the bottom of the page (2 lines to execute)
You will do :

miner-manager phoenixminer install
once install of miner is complete edit your local.conf

globalminer phoenixminer
phoenixminer=flags -gt 0

So for phoenixminer i have this set.   --->. phoenixminer=flags -mode 1 -proto 3 -wdtimeout 300

Let me know if that solves it for you Smiley

Thanks for your help. I`ll try tomorrow, like i said, with flags Smiley

Hello. How can I set OC in Ethos ? I want to disable auto-tune and set my own OC settings !
I don`t use ./phoenixminer to start miner ... I use only local.conf file

globalminer phoenixminer
stratumproxy enabled
proxywallet 0xf1396cbxxxxxxxxxx
proxypool1 eth.2miners.com:2020
poolpass1 x

And OC strings are good ?

cor xxxx xxxx
mem xxxx xxxx
dpm xxxx xxxx

cor (rig id) oc oc oc oc

with rig id = 6 digit hexidecimal number of rig (get either from rig or from web page monitor)
oc = core you want for 570/580 1150 is a good start
same with mem (rig id) and the oc for each card seperated by space.  i would start with say 2100 for 570/580.

Dpm isnt really used but set it to 5 for each card

also vlt (rig id) 851 851 875

for vlt settings above = 0.851v

hope it helps.

Thanks for your answer ! I know about rig ID, etc and how to OC in Ethos... but I dont know how to disable auto-tune . I ask that because Ethos don`t come with Phoenixminer had to be implemented. Miner work fine but I don`t like auto-tune because I have low hashrate ( with auto-tune ) .

i have same problem, i disabled all firewalls all protection stuff even from registry, not fixed.....i increased max port numbers to max not fixed.

lets try found out what we have common with you.

1.Are you using 2 phoenix miners at the same time i mean 1 for ETH and onother for ETC?
2.Are you monitoring using like chrome remote or teamviewer?

@Phoenix Miner so is there any chance you will release a version with option to somehow preallocate zil dag?

My 5700 and vegas seem to be unstable around reallocation (& time wasted), also as I apply tight timings(not from the miner) after the presumptive first dag loading doesn't help...

Using rx580 cclock 1160 and mclock 2150 what I've always used
Win 10 13 gpus
On eth not riceve errors
Use bat file
the problem may appear to be a beta of 5.3b

5.3b with ethermine it works but with my pool it doesn't want to know Carnus (v1.11.19)
most likely cause of errors in the pool
I have a similar situation on the pool cruxpool, however, in my example, connections to this one domain name led to connections to different IP addresses. When the connection was with one address there were errors, and when i connected to another server with the same domain name there were no errors. Try to reconnect several times by pressing the R key after errors appear, and then remember the IP address at which there will be no errors, if it does not help, change the pool until it is fixed

Hello. How can I set OC in Ethos ? I want to disable auto-tune and set my own OC settings !
I don`t use ./phoenixminer to start miner ... I use only local.conf file

globalminer phoenixminer
stratumproxy enabled
proxywallet 0xf1396cbxxxxxxxxxx
proxypool1 eth.2miners.com:2020
poolpass1 x

And OC strings are good ?

cor xxxx xxxx
mem xxxx xxxx
dpm xxxx xxxx

cor (rig id) oc oc oc oc

with rig id = 6 digit hexidecimal number of rig (get either from rig or from web page monitor)
oc = core you want for 570/580 1150 is a good start
same with mem (rig id) and the oc for each card seperated by space.  i would start with say 2100 for 570/580.

Dpm isnt really used but set it to 5 for each card

also vlt (rig id) 851 851 875

for vlt settings above = 0.851v

hope it helps.
