PhoenixMiner suddenly stopped working after I updated the nvidia drivers to version 460.79
It seems 460.79 is not good driver:
https://www.nicehash.com/blog/post/psa-do-not-update-to-nvidia-geforce-460-79-drivers

Can confirm I also installed the latest nvidida driver, it posts gpus then immediately exits program.

I hope miner will be updated for this issue, cause I can't living without playing Cyberpunk, and for this I need THIS driver Cheesy
And when I'm not playing, I mine too on this PC (even if poor 3060TI)Smiley

Same here, in the meantime nbminer works fine, similar hashrate, no problems for now

Ok, it seems that T-Rex miner is also dead with the new nVidia drivers, but I tested lolminer and for now at least it seems that it works.

So until Phoenix miner gets updated, you either downgrade your drivers or switch to lolminer

Not getting any good hash with 3070 or 3060 TI with lolminer

@ Mr.Phoenix i know you are busy, you promised add straps for polaris cards, waiting,,,,,, thanks

Yes. It would be great to be able to use the raw strap string (96 characters) with "-straps" option for polaris cards.  Cool

hi, I'm new to the forum, I run a pool with core-geth 1.11.19, and I run 5.3b but I get incorrect shares, why?
amd 20.4.x on ETC

[UPDATE]
I don't know if this can help developers, we retried version 5.2e, shares are now accepted node version 1.11.19 and 20.4.xx on ETC

I have a problem (it might be just the size of the VRAM, but I want to make sure).
I start the latest PhoenixMiner with the regular parameter (just wallet, pool, worker name and rvsize to -1).
It works for some minutes at quite high hashrate - about 30 MH/s at about 106W power.
After those minutes (vary from 5 to 15), it drops to 15 MH/s and the power drops to 88W.

The card is an RX570 with 4 GB of RAM.
Is this due to the DAG size?
Did anyone see this behavior before?
yes my friend it is DAG unfortunatly. you can test same setting etc to see your speed.

tried "-amd" in .bat file already - no effect.
it was working great earlier without "-amd"

My problem was with the latest Windows built update. Phoenix would not start no matter the version or the drivers but after going back to the previous built everything is ok.

Yes, same problem
I worked before I updated rivers, i also tried rebooting, still not working

I also tried t-rex, just to make sure, but it doesn't work also, so I think its either something with the newest drivers, or with my drivers install. Ill try to reinstall drivers

Everything works correctly on my 1060 rig, with the older drivers

This however is my main PC, but since I have 3070, though why not mine with it when I'm not using it....

PhoenixMiner suddenly stopped working after I updated the nvidia drivers to version 460.79

Nothing happens, no error messages, it just shows CUDA version, GPUs and exists

Did you try command-line instead of PowerShell?

Hi all. Somebody knows  how can I automate it to mine to a different ETH address at certain intervals without restarting the program?

It is strange... For me it was never working well without "-amd" option. After you add this option miner does not try to find cuda devices and will not print the error message about cuda devices.

I get the NO CUDA driver found than just stops
You need to add "-amd" start option

You need to add "-amd" start option, for example:
Code:
PhoenixMiner.exe -amd -pool XXXX -ewal XXXX -eworker XXXX -epsw XXXX -ftime 10 -cclock 1200,1200,1200,1200,1200,1200,1200,1200 -mclock 2150,2150,2150,2150,2150,2150,2150,2150 -cvddc 900,900,900,900,900,900,900,900 -mvddc 900,900,900,900,900,900,900,900 -tt 60 -fanmin 50 -fanmax 95
