Can you guys explain this to me.... Several times I've noticed miner is switching from DAG epoch 329 to 'Generating DAG epoch #0'. I have a mix of 1070, 1060 and 104-100 cards. My 1070 cards are doing 32+ MHs for a short time then miner is restarting with DAG epoch 329 and cards are doing about 27MHs. I understand it's slowing down with bigger DAG but what is DAG for epoch #0.

Is there any possibility that HNS will be added to dual mining?

Those of you with Rx5700 and 5700xt, what am I doing wrong or how are you guys able to achieve 53mhs at 85 watts.  I have the following parameters in Phx 4.9c and get 52.7mhs at 125 watts using a kilo-watt meter:

-cclock 1300 -mclock 1825-cvddc 715 -powlim 30 -mi 12

Don't get how you guys are able to get power consumption below 100 watts.  Fill me in please.

PHOENIXTEAM

In your newest version software the EXP (Expanse) coin devfee mining pool is not working. It's make me lot of missing time in my mining. Please check all devfee pool and repair this in an update version.

Thanks,

Hi man this is AMD Navi timings soft in telegramm chanel - https://t.me/newsminers RX5700 - 60mh a ETH

i don't know what language you are speaking in that channel, can you share more info about the 60mh @ETH?, i tried the red panda miner settings and i was achieving 60mhs but with a lot of incorrect shares

Also with my XFX 5700 DD (non XT) i'm at 53.3 mhs @ 94w using phoenix miner:

-cclock 1300 -mclock 1830 -cvddc 710 -powlim 30 -amd -acm -mode 1 -clKernel 1 -clNew 1 -mi 12 -mt 2 -wdog 1 -hstats 2 -gt 36

Best of success guys!

Hi man this is AMD Navi timings soft in telegramm chanel - https://t.me/newsminers RX5700 - 60mh a ETH

Isn't this unstable with lots of rejects?

I was able to get 63MH/s but was getting nearly 50% incorrect share rate. So I had to slow the clocks back down and stay stable with 0 incorrect shares around 52Mh/s with my 5700s. I haven't looked at that channel yet but I was using some suggestions from Red Panda Miner on Youtube to get 63MH/s. If their version is stable with 0 incorrect share, it might be worth it but unless someone can send in a screenshot of it I think the best the cards are capable will be 53MH/s.

Hi guys
I try to use Phoenix 4.9c on Linux (Hive) but i get error:

Hello there, i'm testing a rx 5700 XT and a rx 5700, the XT get cclock drops to 700mhz lowering the hashrate from 52-53 to 30-35, sometimes is random.. i tried the stock settings and others settings from the forum and youtube, still the same problem.

Also do you guys know if the AMD adrenaline software has the feature for compute mode?, i can't find it.

Good luck miners!

Im getting this error:

GPU1: not enough VRAM for DAG epoch 329

I think because for mining TC in Nicehash, the 4Gb ram of gpus are insufficient. Any way for dont mine ETC in NH and only mining ETH?

Regards.

EDIT: I solved with -rvram -1

Thank you. This works for 4gb vRam GPUs.

I highly recommend adding it to your configuration file.

I've changed to simplemining instead of mining in Windows due to the allocation of vram.
I'm using the same clock settings as in windows and the same hardware.

All my RX470 is hashing 29mhs now, but they did 31,4mhs in Windows 10.
Is linux slower than Windows?

i wish you help me is not difficult to guide me please

have 5 gpu RX 570 8gb

i used in .bat

Code:
setx GPU_FORCE_64BIT_PTR 0
setx GPU_MAX_HEAP_SIZE 100
setx GPU_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS 1
setx GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 100
setx GPU_SINGLE_ALLOC_PERCENT 100
PhoenixMiner.exe -pool ssl://eu1.ethermine.org:5555 -wal (wallet).Test -proto 3

hash 130+ mh/s to 135
i hide my wallet now what i have to do ? have rxboost or anythig else

note compute enabled

Hello. 4gb cards don 't create DAG today.

8gb cards just don 't work, hash zero!

I use PhoenixMiner 4.9c. Moved to Claymore 's for now

You have to add  -rvram -1 in BAT-file and everything gonna be OK.

Thank you, my six rx550 are ok with this

Hello,
I would really like to use this miner but i tried it tonight on HiveOS with my AMD Vii cards and it was just causing the cards to overheat up to 90 degrees C then would stop mining, fans would only get up to about 50%. with claymore dual miner i dont have this issue.

If anyone can help me out with settings or what i can try i would be really grateful, im a noob to mining and new to hiveos/linux.

Thanks.

So I fixed my issue, i tried it before I posted this yesterday and that was to set the fan speed manually in hiveos but it originally came back with an error. After making this post I tried again and my AMD Vii cards have been purring away at around 70°C for the past 13 hours at a steady hash of 180 Mh/s so much more stable than claymore. Just hope when I add my RX580’s tonight they will work alongside my Vii as I had issues with claymore.
