In one of my rigs, I get this problem that Windows get unresposive and slow. Have the error message unable to get fan speed - Unknown Error (999) as somebody reported before.

Tried lowered mem with no sucess and cards seems work in my test PC at 1000+ in mem OC.

Combo of GTX 1660 TI and RTX 2070.

Any ideas? Rig is working fine with other algos.

Hello, lately I have really low average hashrate.
Ethermine pool, reported 395 MH/s, 1% of stales but 355 MH/s on average?
I never saw such a difference, why is that? Thank you

-- Added new Nvidia kernels v3 with slightly higher hashrate and lower power consumption (up to about 1-1.5% less power). The new kernels are supported only on GTX1050/1060/1070/1080/Ti GPUs and are enabled by default on these GPUs. Note that you can't use these kernels for dual-mining, only -nvkernel 2 works for dual mining on Nvidia.

My p106 gpu's are using Kernel v3  on phoenix 4.2c but there is no hashrate  rising or lower power consumption ?Do i do something special for hash rising _?

My batch is typical like :

PhoenixMiner.exe -pool eu1-etc.ethermine.org:4444  -wal walletid.Rigid

Any advice ?

add -nvkernel 3 to your batch file, then you should see slightly improved hashrate/lowered power consumption

Decrease your power limit  by 1% and you will see no drop or very little drop in the performance. If it doesn't drop try reducing it with 1% more. Choose your best performance / power ratio between -1% and -2% power limit decrease.

using hiveos running with the latest hive OS
anyone has encountered these error

phoenixminer exited, waiting to cooldown a bit

Had the same issue. It's related to wrong miner config.
Here is mine:

This is usually caused by nvidia driver bug, try using low intensity dag loading or reduce your memclk( usually the pill crashes it, not the miner ).
Switching briefly from P2 to P0 is not a driver bug, that's how the P-states work on nvidia. There's a workaround on Windows, but Linux has no such settings. I'll try to check the GPU clocks when a dag is being switched to see whether my suspicions are correct.
All ethash miners experience the same issue, except Claymore.

Edit - looks like my suspicions are correct:

Yes there are settings to bypass that issue from P0 to P2 in linux while compute is idling. Not going to further discuss this because its not related to miner at all.

Can't really search the thread, so I'll report a bug here. On NVIDIA rigs, the main display card (GPU0) crashes during DAG switch - this usually happens on 1080 and 1080 Ti. The main reason seems to be that the cards briefly go from loaded P2 to unloaded P0 during the switch, which brings them to unstable memory clocks.
