Maintenance Alert

We're upgrading some things on our back end this weekend so you may encounter some problems logging in, these will likely be intermittent and should all be resolved come Monday.

After the upgrade is complete, some users may be unable to log in entirely. If this is the case, you simply need to use the 'forgot password' feature and reset your password.

For those who have 2FA setup, they'll need to delete the old one and after logging in (on Monday), they'll be able to setup the new one.

I have a question,

How will be working your card,
If I have 1BTC on balance and want to buy coffee ( so what will happen then) or BTC on the card will auto-convert to FIAT (when I pay)?
Or I need to convert manual BTC to FIAT , only then I can buy coffee?

Users sell their crypto manually on our decentralised exchange, the PlutusDEX, and then spend their converted balance anywhere a Visa Debit Card is accepted.

The decentralised nature of our product ensures you are always in control of your own private keys and, therefore, your funds!

Just to note: BTC support is planned for 2020. Right now, you can sell ETH and PLU securely and instantly on the DEX.

The Plutus Mobile App has been updated on both Android & iOS

New Exchange Listing - ProBit

One of the largest crypto exchanges in Korea has listed PLU in order to make it more accessible to users, most prominently in Korea followed by the rest of Asia and some of Europe. You can find out more of the details here.

Plutus Monthly Report – Last Ever Monthly Report (December 2019)

Welcome back to our last monthly report, over the last few weeks the team has been onboarding numerous users and distributing slick Plutus Cards across the UK and Europe.

- A complete public version of our services will be available to the public once the community is on-boarded. This will be completed in the coming weeks.

General Update

Onboarding Users
Last month, the team released Plutus 2.0 to our cherished community members, and we have received some incredibly supportive and positive feedback. We have been consistently onboarding users every day and proudly acquired hundreds of users. In these early stages while we fine-tune any potential bugs and streamline all processes, our customer service and community manager, David Morrison, and the team have managed to upkeep 100% customer satisfaction in regards to our lean customer support.

Last Monthly Report
Now that we have a fully operational product, the team will be changing our content strategy and moving away from monthly updates. Instead, we will be releasing official announcements and newsworthy posts as they come. Users can stay up to date on the finer details through our various social media channels, most prominently our Discord channel.

Development Update

Android/iOS App Live
Our Plutus app is now fully live on both Android and iOS. Customers can sign up, manage their current account, order a card, and top it up all on-the-go. Since the mobile release, our app has been gradually climbing up the store rankings and achieved high star ratings across both operating systems.

Improving KYC Flow
The team has implemented procedures that will minimise re-checks of documents so users can enjoy an efficient onboarding process; greatly improving conversions from sign-ups to Plutus Card customers.

Mobile App Improvements
The team has made several improvements to our mobile application on both the aesthetics and operational side. We have ironed out the last of the remaining bugs and animated our opening logo on splash page for a more enjoyable user experience.

Additional Developments
The team has also covered countless smaller tasks such as:

- troubleshooting card order flow with our banking provider.
- cleaning up the database of our legacy members in order to transition them to 2.0.
- improving the efficiency of conversions on our DEX platform.

Marketing Update

Emails Campaign
The marketing team has been progressively delivering thousands of emails to our established contacts list that we have acquired over several years in order to onboard as much of our community as possible. The email campaign has seen well-above standard benchmark results and our customer base is quickly growing.

Video Creation
The team has been continually creating video content that can enhance awareness and understanding of our products. Below is one of the recently released videos that showcases our Plutus dashboard; the team has several more prepared behind the scenes that we can release at the appropriate times.

End-of-Year Report
The team is currently working on our end-of-year report that we will release to the public in the coming weeks. This will highlight our achievements over the last 12 months and showcase our vision for the future of Plutus. Stay tuned!

Addressing Community Concerns

With the early bird rollout behind us, the team have decided to turn some of our attention to some of the concerns raised by the community. You can read more below!

Utility
The team has been investigating even further use cases of PLU that can add to its value and better support the longevity of our rewards programme. The team has several unique ideas which we believe have great potential to benefit users in their every day spending. We are currently identifying the best implementation of these and aim to reveal it early next year.

PLU Reward System
Our 2.0 product MVP is now live and we have received some hugely positive feedback from our early adopters. We are giving access to our 9000+ strong waiting list at first before we push forward with our upcoming marketing campaign. The team is utilising this time to iron out any flaws to make this great product scalable and user friendly for the masses. Implementing the PLU rewards system is the next thing on our list of things to release to public. Product first and rewards shortly after is the plan.

Exchanges
As a decentralised service we do not have any direct control over the price or listing of PLU, however, we have been in discussion with top exchanges and progressively conducting due diligence to meet their requirements for compliance and red tapes. We will avoid any services that require unreasonable and detrimental costs to our business model in order to improve volume.

One of our highest priorities is to have PLU listed on third party services so it’s widely accessible by the community, we expect this process to be a lot faster now that we have a live product.

Fees & Limits
We intend to be as transparent as possible with fees, in fact, far more transparent than any competitors. We will be showcasing every fee associated with the company which others refuse to reveal, and we can confidently say that our rates are more than fair. General Update

Early-Bird Onboarding
Last week, our Plutus services went live for our cherished community members to enjoy and the feedback has been exceptionally positive. This is a historic moment for Plutus and marks our entry into the growth stages of our company life cycle. The team will now be adapting all future product developments and marketing campaigns around the feedback and insights harnessed from our newly established customer base.

Development Update

Getting on the Android/iOS App Store
The marketing team wrote the copy for the Google PlayStore and Apple App Store descriptions and designed three images to breakdown our app features simply. The dev team has submitted and configured our mobile application so our Early-Bird users can enjoy our services on-the-go.

Feature Implementation
The development team is continuing to deploy several new features weekly. This includes implementation of our system emails, designed to provide helpful and insightful information to reduce any potential pain points; as well as several sub-pages that thoroughly breakdown our services.

Transitioning 1.0 to 2.0 Users
During our Plutus 1.0 release, we attracted a large number of users, and the team has been investigating the best ways of transferring these accounts over to our new and improved Plutus 2.0 applications. The team has identified the most practical approach and will proceed with actioning it.

Marketing Update

Over time, we have acquired a substantial user database through our website and mobile app, we will be utilising our mailing list to raise awareness within our community and organically grow our customer base.

Marketing efforts have been spent improving our multimedia content to raise awareness, as well as encouraging and helping new users with onboarding. Over the course of the next few weeks, the team will be releasing multiple videos and guides for using the Plutus platform. Now that both our Plutus Card and apps are live, the team can promote user-generated content to continue growing our brand awareness organically.

In this interim period, we intend to provide an easy-to-use service and focus on customer service and retention. Our growth strategy for acquiring customers in mass will kick in at a later stage, for now, we intend to look after our current community who has supported us since inception.
