Not a good fight IMO, that's why I like Wilder and Fury as they are not afraid of taking big fights on opponent that as good as them.

Joshua now fighting a boxer that was a very low chance of beating him, this would not sell as expected, believe me.

Really?

Kubrat Pulev 29 fights: 28-0-1 isnt just a number for a boxer that can easily be achieve and you do tell that he do have low chance of beating him up? I dont think so.
Kubrat might not be popular as AJ but i do see this one can really match up.Those numbers arent lies for something to tell about on not being capable.

Kubrat Pulev  record is impressive but I would stick with my stand that AJ would win this easily.
It's not only me who think that AJ would win this easily, the betting odds tells clearly and that replicates of what majority thinks about this fight.

Many people here think that Anthony Joshua will win, but I don't think so, or at least it will be a very difficult victory  Cheesy I read a few news, they said that Bob Arum made a statement: Pulev will take down Joshua, then the British champion will retire  Smiley He will put pressure on Joshua and knockout Joshua completely  Cheesy I believe in the judgment of this long-time boss
Wow, Arum just trying to sell the fight or maybe wants bettors to put their bet on Pulev.
Anthony Joshua had a very good KO percentage of 91%, so let's see if he can knock a heavy puncher like AJ, maybe Pulev was thinking that he could imitate what Ruiz did to AJ, and retirement? I don't think so as there's more money in the rematch.

I'll just get an update because+ this is going to be a one sided fight because we all know how good Joshua against Pulev's skills, this isnot even in the caliber of Andy Ruiz, they just want an easy fight after the Ruiz fight, Joshua can only prove himself as the greatest if he fight and win against Fury or Wilder.

I checked on Pulev's past fights, and they are not that good, considering that he is fighting a very good and hard puncher, I have watched Pulev's match against Klitscko and he was outboxed and out punch and he has a glass chin, Joshua will definitely knock him out and this Pulev cannot box either, it's going to be a one-sided match.

I think Joshua have advantage to win from Pulev because when you watch all his fight you see his strength to all his adversary to knock them even he lose, still you will saw the eagerness ti win everytime his in the battle. Also Joshua is younger than Pulev, so he has more stronger than him and has a chance to win against Pulev.

Dump it!!!
Pulev is going to get completely demolished lol, he couldn't even knockout Rydell Booker or Kevin Johnson.

Remember, Anthony Joshua knocked out Kevin Johnson within his first 10 fights.

Pulev is also extremely old and slow now, this is going to be his final performance probably.

I'll bet AJ will stop Pulev within 6.

Tyson Fury Won against Deontay Wilder and put a record of lost in his career, Anthony Joshua should have taken Tyson Fury as his next opponent but Kubrat Pulev is a mandatory opponent for him, but if this goes well for Joshua I think that will be the next fight for him to take,
I tell you, even if AJ would fight Wilder if Wilder would loss in the 3rd fight, I am still putting my bet on Wilder.

Apparently even though Kubrat Pulev had a good record in his career with only one lost to Wladimir Klitschko I think his 28 wins is nothing to Joshua's 23 wins over his career at the age of only 30, he is pulling out something like this, So I think their Age, in my opinion, may have an impact to Kubrat Pulev.
That's why the betting odds say so, Joshua to win by 1.07 only, nobody would take that bet.

I think you are right but people should not forget this will probably be the last time Pulev will get a shot at the heavyweight title. he will not be a push over, Joshua will have to work hard if he is to get the win. An upset is not off the cards, if Joshua is not focused in the ring Pulev has every chance to go for the win. If Joshua stays focused he will win the fight.

It's not shocking that most are in favor of Joshu since he's young and the good KO record is remarkable at 23 wins and 21 out of it is by KO. The number of fight Puvlev had at his age is too few compared to those who have started their career ealry in boxing so I would not say that he jas an edge in regards to experience over Joshua. I agree with Darker's statement that this is a bout where Joshua can showcase his boxing skills.

So with this odds.

This means that AJ is undervalued here? @milewilda , thanks for sharing that wonderful record, I have change my mind a bit and I think I would take chances on Kubrat Pulev since AJ has a history that is beaten by a heavy underdog of Ruiz.

@Alimand I also feel that Joshua will knockout Pulev and win the match what do you think of this, do you agree that this is a realistic scenario for this match.
Just considering the numbers we have at hand right now, in addition to the age gap between the two, the chances are honestly quite high. Especially with how most of Joshua's matches are wins made by KO's after all. In all honesty, just like how I said it before, Pulev's chances of winning are all dependent on how he moves and acts towards the possible aggression of Joshua. If we see Joshua as a boxer aiming to fight it out/duke it out head on, Pulev would probably be described as a snake, waiting it out for opportunities to counterattack while retreating/defending.

Joshua is definitely on a high, that cannot be denied. He is mentally strong and is going to enter the ring in a very confident mood but Pulev has a 28-0-1 record so should not be discounted easily. The only thing that makes this contest fall heavily in favour of Joshua is the age of Pulev. The man is the official IBF mandatory contender for a reason. With a fight record like that had be been 30 years old instead of 38 I would have gone for a possible points win for Joshua but it seems like a knock out or TKO in favour of Joshua will see him retain his belts.

Still though Pulev is going in there to win this fight and not want to be just another easy test for Joshua. Will be a good fight if Pulev will enter the right in a healthy and fit condition, then he might stand a small chance of creating an upset and winning.

Yeah, I think this is going to be a lot of incentive on Anthony Joshua, he got the time to show his talents again win and then go after Tyson Fury. Not taking anything from Pulev as he deserves the title shot because he is the mandatory, but I don't think he has the tools to upset Joshua.

Seems that Joshua got his second wind as well, after he lost to Ruiz and won on the rematch, he had this sort of mentality or at least matured after his first lost on Andy.

It is estimated around 65,000 spectators will pack in to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium (London) on 20th June 2020.
Anthony Joshua always had the skills to fill a stadium even if he faces journeyman fighters and hence it is not a big surprise that it will be another blockbuster show.

In my opinion it will not be a walkover for Joshua because Pulev has been the distance at least 13 times in his professional heavyweight career. Never seen Pulev fight but would be hard for anything to happen except a Joshua win either by points decision or TKO.
Kubrat Pulev is not known for his knockout power but he is a defensive boxer and has a really great jab and has an extensive amateur background and if Anthony Joshua tries the same game plan i am sure Kubrat Pulev will out point Joshua, he needs to be aggressive with his approach looking for a knockout rather than looking to win on points.

Currently Joshua holds the WBA, IBF and WBO belts. He has 24 fights: 23-0-1. His only defeat coming at the hands of Andy Ruiz Jnr. He has 21 knock outs and 2 wins by points decision.

What do you think will happen?
This fight looks interesting Shocked, I'm now getting hyped. Joshua should be very careful on this guy, I can feel on his aura that he is a tough one. And look on his face, we can see that he is not coming this far for joking Grin.

Anyway, if we will take a look on their records, for me they are even. Yeah! Pulev got more wins but Joshua also got one loss too and that could be an equalizer. Besides, Joshua got a higher knockout percentage thus I'm more rooting on him. This is one hell of a fight! I'm so excited now Cheesy.

@JollyGood there’s no doubt in my mind that Joshua will win this match because he’s younger and has the desire to build a name for himself, meanwhile on the other hand Pulev is way past his prime and I’ll be surprised if he can last the entire match.

Pulev is severely disadvantaged in this match imo. Just the fact that Joshua could be said to be still in his primes while Pulev just got out of that range is already a huge factor, then there's also the development of Joshua in his past matches. Still, Pulev would still probably put out quite a good fight. He's had quite a number of ventures and experiences, and as said by quite a bit of people, has the wisdom and defensive power to hold out. Though compared to Joshua, he may not have that much Knock-out power (comparing the # of Win KO's they've gotten), he still has his skills and experience to back them up.

Have never seen both of them fight, and I've tried to look at some of their highlights. Addition to this post, the factor that Joshua's K'O percentage over Pulev is higher which is also a good point to consider. This will be a good match to watch.

AJ should win this match comfortably since he is better at everything, height, reach, age, technique, speed, etc. I just rewatched the Pulev vs Klitschko match and found that this boxer has a pretty weak right-hand defense. Nevertheless, I hope AJ won't make the same mistake when he fought Ruiz 1st time because Pulev can take many hits just like Ruiz. He would continue marching towards AJ.

Boxing Records update;
Wins does not matter here for sure. Especially Anthony  Joshua got the advantage in reach and height.
But Kubrat Pulev is much older with 8 years older.
This match is exciting, I'll go with Kubrat Pulev here with small bet only. They have both 1 loss, feels fair.
