by the look of it it seems like a scam, there were osme report on bitcointalk on 2014 already, why you invested there?
I placed the bet in 2013. I believe 1 bitcoin was worth about $50 at the time.
The person running the site was respected on the forum.
ah well this change everything, he went full "scammer-mode" after the 2013 rally, i suppose, the greed will change people some times
I can't say its never so I just vote in year 2020. But I think it will take more year to reach that amount of money. You need to just to collect more bitcoins or work hard to get that money. For me I am just happy that it will reach to 5.000 dolalrs.
I mean like 5.000 dollars is just a good amount and no currency have ever reach it so yeah I think bitcoin is just good to have.

2025 at the earliest. More likely around 2028-2030. Could be around 2035. Definitely by 2040 if Bitcoin is indeed "The One."
I feel like as if 2020 is too soon, it's only 5 years (almost 4 years) away. I wouldn't say never either. I think that 2030 would be a good time to reach $10.000. It's kinda too soon to say, maybe if bitcoin reaches $5000 first, we'll be able to speculate more about a $10.000. I want to reach a solid $5000 first, we need to reach this first before going all the way up to $10.000

I don't think we are even able to hit 10.000 in just 5 years. It seems impossible. I do believe to see a stable $1000. 10k is just too much for such a short time.
10.000 dollars in 2016 we wish, but I don't think it will happen that soon maybe 2.500 dollar to be realistic.

I voted 2016, but honestly I believe we'll reach 7k by the end of next year. Regardless what happens 2016 will be an interesting year.

Bitcoin will reach $10,000 probably in 2019-2020. That is about 23 times of present value. It indicates an annual rise of 90%. After it reaches $10k, it might drop again.
That's not bad. In mid-2012 price was around $5 - if there had been an annual increase of "only" 90% price would be between $35 and $65 now. Even starting at early-2011 - when price first reached $5 - a 90% annual increase would still only have taken us to around $120. We've seen an average annual increase well over 90%, and that's with the fall from the December 2013 ATH as well.
(Obviously past performance can't tell us future performance, but to me this shows that $10k by 2020 isn't unrealistic).

Bitcoin will reach the $10K!If you can't see that you don't understand it's full potential! But it will take some time.
And if Bitcoin should reach the 10k in the next years, hypothetically , there won't be many rich people. A small minority would be rich or very rich. The majority of Bitcoin owners doesn't even have one whole Bitcoin or less than 5, at least here in the forum.
But you can't blame the super early lunatic adopters for that.They took a lot of risk to believe in BTC in those very early years and therfore they deserve it imo. The higher the risk, the bigger the return, if things work out!

I'm going to go for 2020, I see that as a more realistic estimate. Maybe as a result of the next halving plus obvious continual adoption.
Yes halving and mass adoptions of bitcoin will give it a exponential growth. This will lead to unimaginable prices within 2016 itself.
I have voted for 2016 as I strongly believe there are many possibilities for testing $10k prices around halving.
Halving would be the trigger this time for making bitcoin into rocket. Halving will lead to obvious doubling of bitcoin prices which will make it in news coverage. The media will give bitcoin free advertisements just because of hitting $1000 levels again. This will end up in more people to investment into bitcoin, resulting $10k.
