the result of this game is somewhat funny, and that Estoril scored a goal at 1 minute, then estoril wasted another great chance to score a goal, and when Estoril scored the second goal the referee said it was offside, although the referee was right , but the annoying thing is that the referee saw this and let the game go on until the goal, one would think that this kind of thing would not happen again in this game, but unfortunately it did, Estoril scored the third goal but the referee said again that it was offside, although once again the referee was right, he let the Estoril player score a goal when he was offside a long time ago these are things that the Portuguese league needs to correct

It's the VAR rules. The referees must let the play end to call the offside. If it's a goal, then VAR checks it, if it's not a goal it will be decided by the referee on the field.

It really doesn't make much sense, when the offside is clear and far from the goal. But, unfortunately, the rules currently exist.

It totally does not make sense yet I love VAR despite having failed me many sport tickets. The reason is that now we have a way to replay the action and the referee to see again the action and to decide cold headed, not with the heat of the action that he is following in the game.It has decided and impacted many games, some for the worse but a lot more for the benefit of the teams which without a VAR would have the goal disallowed and not having a look at it again and that is why I love VAR as it most of the times save teams from injustice done unintentionally or intentionally by the referee.

I remember a game where he saw several times the VAR in a league I don't remember and I saw that he did not want to give it a goal yet he was forced to give it a goal as everybody saw it was a valid goal.

this weekend the big teams will play against opponents that won't cause them many problems (beneficial and will have a slightly problematic game) so it's safe to say that the position in the table won't change anything for these big teams, Porto in the last days has been the center of attention on Portuguese news channels, it seems the Porto coach can't contain himself, constantly when he gives an interview he complains about something and becomes the center of attention, if he loses in this game I can't even imagine that criticism will do

In the opening match of the week, estoril, the out of form team of the last weeks, hosted gil vicente. With a goal in the first minute of the match, estoril won the match. They have been defeated for 6 weeks. They had to win this match in order to move away from the relegation zone and they did it. I can say that the hosts, who increased their points to 25 with this win, will be more comfortable for a few weeks. The point difference between them and their closest rival has increased to 9 points. When we look at the overall match, although the away team was the dominant side, the only goal in the match was the goal in the 1st minute.

What are your predictions for these games?

These are the odds of the games:

The odds of making a multiple in the top 4 again do not pay off, as Sporting and Porto's wins do not pay off, they are paying 1.15 and 1.16

The odds for Braga's victory are already paying reasonably well with 1.71, combined with Benfica's victory, gives 2.30 on a multiple.
It's worth it in my opinion.

Another possibility is to bet on matches with lots of goals, both Sporting that will play against the last placed team in the championship, and Porto that will play against a much weaker opponent and with a bad position in the championship.

I'll wait for @rendravolt's predictions to have some idea hehehe.

Well, for matchday 26 I am personally interested in the match between Chaves against Braga, because Chaves won their first match of the season with a narrow score of 0-1. Also, at this moment, at least Braga still has to be consistent to be able to finish in third place or maybe in second place.

So yes, in this match Braga is not only targeting to be able to get full points to maintain its position in the Portuguese League standings. Because of course, Braga must also be able to reply and beat Chaves at the Estadio Municipal de Chaves. Because as a team that is in the top three of the standings, Braga should be able to win this away match.

Benfica now seems to be clearly better than Porto. Yet it has been the other way around for a while, but it must be said that it has been a while. Sporting occasionally comes close, but in principle Benfica and Porto are clearly the strongest teams. Benfica has also achieved good results internationally in the CL, Porto has clearly lagged behind in this too. The championship can no longer escape Benfica, it seems to me, 10 points ahead is really a lot. Especially since the teams from 4th place always lose to Porto and Benfica. They do have nice duels with each other, but further on Sporting after his other matches no longer a single challenge unfortunately.
You really out here claiming that Benfica's the undisputed champ over Porto? Did you even catch their recent plays, fam? I ain't buying it. And yo, don't sleep on Sporting—they could flip the script any minute! Anything's possible.

For real though, it's wild how the winds of change be sweeping through football. One moment you're king, the next you're hustling to stay in the game. Talk about a rollercoaster, right? But as a fan, I'm just praying we get blessed with some fire matches, no matter the victor.

I only see Porto playing good in UCL aginst a shit Inter, but in the local tournament the few times i see them, was really poor performance, nothing to do against a very good Benfica, Benfica do a perfect UCL phase group and local tournament and they lose one key player like Enzo Fernandez, but still playing good, and that talk about a solid team no matter who its playing.

I think only a miracle can change the fact that Benfica its gonna be champion, and yes you have reason its football but for me its ended.

I also think Benfica have guaranteed themselves first place in the Primera Liga. 10 points is a big gap from Porto and I think Porto have no chance of catching up with Benfica. As for the upcoming game against Inter, I predict that Benfica will win. Just look at the stats of the last games of both clubs and everything becomes clear.
The performance of the Benfica team has impressed me this season. It's not just that they're doing well in the Primeira Liga. They have been able to maintain consistency in the Champions League as well. I think the team will also win against Inter Milan in the Champions League match. Their coach Roger Schmidt is doing a great job. He managed to solve the internal problems of the party. Because of this, the bond between Benfica players is very strong. And the players are very confident. If the players are confident, it is possible to win even if the opponent is a big team.
benfica is an extraordinary team (That's all because Benfica's attack line is extraordinary, Mario and Ramos are at the top of the top scorers), so far in the portugal league, they have only lost 1 time while porto has lost 3 times and braga 5 times so it is very feasible for benfica to win this season. but when facing inter in the champions league later, I doubt Benfica will maintain their good performance because inter is not an easy team to beat.

inter is not doing well this season, just see that inter loses points even in games against small teams in serie A, even porto who are not as strong as in seasons could have managed to beat inter, benfica was very lucky to have chance to play against inter because the other opponents would be very problematic except for milan who would be another easy opponent for benfica, as for the portuguese league, benfica is doing very well, but it seems that this weekend benfica will not have a game It's easy, I say that because whenever Benfica plays and the bookmakers put odds of more than @1.40 it means that it's a game in which Benfica will have difficulties to win

but in principle Benfica and Porto are clearly the strongest teams.

I agree that Benfica is strong, but about Porto, well this season Porto is a disaster, even Porto's coach has already complained a lot that Porto is weak this season and the reason was that they didn't invest much in hiring many good players from Porto. abroad, that's why the team is weak, porto has had difficulties in attack and in most games it has won thanks to luck (not to mention the referees) which has been of great help in porto games, I know people will say which is a coincidence, something normal that happens, I don't know if the port pays the arbitrators or not, I don't know. but that the port has had the help of referees for me is something very visible

Speaking about their performance I don't think it will be affected. Barcelona didn't experience a decline in performance when they were Eliminated from the champion league and Europa league and they are in a stronger league than the liga Portugal.
Portugal league is just like the Netherland Eredivisie. A few known clubs keeps dominating the title in every season. As it stands now in Portugal league, Benfica name has already been written as the next champions.  This can be seen in their performances and they will set all system ready to achieve it at all cost
I think that Portugal league is a bit stronger than Eredivisie and this I argument with the number of goals scored in total in this league compared to that of Eredivisie,in here is lower meaning the teams play stronger defensively.I agree that for this year Benfica is already the Champion of Liga Portugal and their full focus is in the Champions League. They will be facing Inter which eliminated Sporting but I think Benfica has better chances than Sporting as they play a lot better and have a bit more quality players,so I am very curious to see the first clash in Champions of Benfica at this high stage there.

Benfica is 10 points ahead of Porto. This season's champions Benfica are almost certain unless they lose the truck. Benfica's squad has been very stable this season. So it is highly unlikely that Benfica will lose the truck. And so now Benfica will want to give their full attention to the Champions League match they will play against Inter Milan in the next match. Inter Milan team is probably stronger than Benfica. But Inter Milan's performance is completely erratic now. It will be very difficult for Inter Milan to win against Benfica now. And I wouldn't be at all surprised if Benfica beat Inter Milan. Because Benfica has the ability to beat Inter Milan.

Inter eliminated Porto, and only by 1 goal scored in the first leg.
Honestly, despite Inter being a complicated team, Benfica are playing much better football and that's why I think they managed to present a very good performance against Inter in the Champions League.

In addition, Benfica has practically won the championship, being able to concentrate on the Champions League. Inter, on the other hand, is not the same. If you want to stay in the champions league access zone for next year, you have to get good results, as your opponents are 3 or 4 points away from them.

Well now we can say it.... Its finished this championship.
I hope Benfica can keep doing good in UCL so this league can took more lights.
For first time in a ton of years they have a potential to be in the final of UCL. The italian teams are crap aside of Napoli.
Benfica has been in very good form this season. They are playing well in Liga Portugal. The team is 10 points ahead of the second-placed Porto in the points table. Benfica is almost certain to win the Primeira Liga title. Now they will probably want to do well in the Champions League.
They will face Inter Milan in the Champions League quarter-final match. There is no doubt that the Inter Milan team is more experienced than Benfica. But their performance is not regular. If Benfica can continue their form, they have the potential to beat Inter Milan and qualify for the semi-finals.

Benfica's matches against Porto, Braga and Sporting are still on. They will play Porto and Brage at home. He will face Sporting away. If Benfica is not defeated in these matches, Benfica is like the champion. He has already opened the gap and I don't think there is a possibility of another team becoming champion. Benfica looks like the champion this year. But we don't know if this is football and everything starts to go bad all of a sudden.

A bit sad that Benfica was kicked out in the Taca de Portugal, which was quite a spectacular game and ending. But they are still on their way to finish a perfect season. Their chances to make it into the Champions League semi final has probably never been bigger. Inter is by far not in the best shape possible and Benfica is a real force in their home games. They won twelve and tied one game and they score almost 3.5 goals on average at home. In my opinion that's the game where Benfica is going to kick Inter out.

The Primera Liga is over I think, but there could be a tiny little chance left for Porto if they are the first to win against Benfica in a home game on April 8th, but I don't expect that. The stats are too strong for Benfica and even if it happens, it would still be seven points probably. That's the last chance that Porto will get this season. Win that game or there is no way to catch up.

Your feelings are very precise to control the bet and you managed to secure your money from losing. I thought maybe it wasn't time for me to get lucky yet, but at least some of the matches turned out to be correct predictions. The next match is still quite long because several other leagues also have to take a day off this week because there are international matches for participating countries and of course we also have to follow the development of players in this international break, sometimes there may be bad news such as injuries or other things that make players will doubt appear to defend their respective clubs later.

I have been following your bets and you have been getting them right quite often, but it is really hard to get multiple bets right.
The only league that I'm doing this kind of bets is in Portugal because of the difficulty of getting the other leagues right.

I think your lost bet was easier to think that at least the Porto x Braga match would have some goals, but the two teams are very similar in level of play, but it was a surprise not to get 1 goal.
And about Porto's team in specific, I think that the elimination from the Champions League affected the team at least in this game, but after the break, things should go back to normal.

Yes, this break is because of the Euro qualifying matches, and other friendly matches.

There are 9 matches left in the championship, so there are 27 points in dispute.
I would say that the title is almost guaranteed, only a disastrous sequence will take the title away from Benfica this year.
I analyzed the teams that will still play against Benfica, and of those 27 points, Benfica should have 3 very difficult matches against Porto, Braga and Sporting, the rest should be easy matches, so I suppose that 18 points Benfica can easily get, and that should be enough to win the championship.
