Also, I don't know if potcoin still relies on IRC instead of seednodes but if it does make sure your firewall/AV allows potcoin to communicate over IRC.
In any case once you get a few good connections your peers database should start to fill up and it should become a non-issue for you going forward.

I just tested....potcoin does not use IRC. Someone might want to look at the source to see what seednodes it uses and find out if they are offline.
Some very large wallets stopped staking recently, this could be part of the issue people are having.
We were up near 25% of the supply actively staking, we are now down to 10% and the block times have increased to about 60s/block on average.
It also would be very very nice if we could get some improvements wallet wise. I am currently helping alpha test a new reddcoin wallet that moves it from litecoin to being based on bitcoin core. When this code is finalized and pushed to production it would be awesome if we saw pot move to update the qt to implement some of the tech that redd is working on. In the pipeline is HD support in the QT wallet, what that means is that it would be like electrum only running as a full node rather than lite.
