This is a great milestone for developers looking to build Potcoin services. Simply include the minified javascript version to your browser and you can start building potcoin apps in seconds.

The library is extremely powerful, supporting Multi-Sig and HD wallets among many other functions.

We have built a fully functional Multi-Sig potcoin wallet using the PotcoinJS library. It is in its final testing stages and will be offered to the general public in the weeks to come.

The library will also be the backbone for the Android and IOS apps which should be launched in August if everything goes well.

We feel the need to bring the missing pieces of the puzzle together before marketing strategies can start in order to get the best conversion and adoption rates.

Unless I'm missing something staking wont start for roughly 33 more days. Until then you have to mine or purchase.

I was change my wallet on 0.8.7.1 and his synch at now but ... not staking till 5 hours. what me do?

We're starting off slowly.  TBH nobody has purchased online yet, not that we have really started promoting that we are live.  We have been doing local sales and such to see what customer reaction to our product is and it has been really good and has been flying off the shelf in local donations.

Too many potcoin users are spread out across the world and we are only able to help those in California right now.  We are taking our time and doing the right things to bring quality products to our menu instead of buying everything we could and selling for dirt cheap, low quality cannabis.

I'm sure it will take time to convince people to try us out, but until then we are working hard to bring more selections to the table.  Once we get some traction we will do some promoting.  

We have a sponsor, the youtube cannabis activist Haleyissoarx.  She has agreed to review our products on video and we will be sending her some stuff to try out on her youtube channel which has around 500K subscribers.  We are waiting on a deal with a major concentrate company before we send her the first package.  If I receive a potcoin shirt from Potlabs I will also send that to her and maybe she will wear it on the video.

We have scouted out a few California youtube cannabis talkers who we are going to try and also do a sponsorship with.

We hope that the potcoin community will help us in our success once some of them give us a try.  We not looking for or expecting explosive growth, we just want to smoke really good stuff ourselves while providing a much needed service to crypto/cannabis enthusiasts now and in the future.

If there are any potcoin users in the Bay Area and want to use their potcoin, I will also extend the offer to local delivery with Coin on Delivery

On a different subject, it would be good to know what, if any, sales in your shop are being paid with POT to take advantage of the 15% bonus. Also what, if any other, efforts are you making to make users or potential users aware of that offer. I know it is hard in the beginning but just promoting it here won't do much now that everyone that is interested, in the crypto scene, is fully aware of it.

Starting at block 920,000, the Hyper-Halving starts, goes through until block 975,000.

975,000 is the LAST POW block, meaning there is no more mining after that, it switches to the POSv system (staking).

During the hyper-halving period, ALL miners have to mine to NEW version of potcoin (0.8.7.1). This is why we are putting emphasis right now on the urgency for mining pools to update their software.

Let us know once you are done upgrading to the new software so miners can point to your pool.
