It's a difficult question. You can earn money from a power but you also have more power using money. I'll choose money because money will help you make friends with power people
Money is just everything. Money can bring you power , with money power can be earned . I don't think it is possible to have power without having money . Money is powerful than can give birth to power and everything. Money isn’t everything. Admittedly, money could buy you a certain level of power but you forget not everyone is swayed or can be bought by money. You definitely can not earn power with money. Perhaps you should understand what it means to earn something.

See how we listen to the scientists (or so called "scientists") during the pandemic, before covid19 not as many people gave a shit about the doctors unless they the ones that became sick. Now healthy or not, people listen to the doctors especially when they speak about covid19.
Then the war started in Ukraine. People started to listen to the politicians.
Inflation is rising? It is time to listen to the bankers.
Getting old? Religious people come to your aid and show you "the way".

Money! With how the world is corrupt nowadays you can buy as much power as you want with enough money.
Also, power is for those who need envy and respect. I don't need to be a politician or a local leader to be happy in life but I could use some money to not only help my self but also make people around me happy and comfortable.

The part of my point that you missed is, if we all lived to be 1,000 starting today - and I mean in good health - think of all the inventions we would think up. Thinking is limited by lack of time to put everything together in different ways.
The point is, if we wanted a trillion people on planet Earth, living all those extra years would give scientists a lot more time to figure out how to do it.
And about populating the universe, how old is Musk?, and he is thinking about Mars already. What if he and his technicians had 500 years of thinking under their belts. Since then there has been a natural decline in years, because of sin. But more than likely, there would have been no death if there had been no sin.

I believe God made the universe as big as it is, so that people would have a place to go if there was no death... you know, like for a billion years... but really, forever.
But you are right practically speaking. For a person to live 1,000 years, even in complete physical health, he probably would be drawn away from God, and not be saved in God's salvation at the Resurrection.

I'd choose power to change things. Power to shape the world around me. With that I can eventually earn money.
Having money doesn't mean much because what money are we talking about, millions or billions? If you were given 100 million USD you'd run out at some point. Money would have to be limitless for it to be worth choosing over power. At this point we'd have to ask what kind of power we'd be getting. If it's the power of the president of the US, or the President of Germany, because the difference here is huge since in Germany the president is just for show and has less power than the chancellor. That said you could pick a worse position, like the president of Ethiopia or South Sudan... That would be some power, but probably at the cost of sweat and tears.

One of the things that gives you power is money, then why go for power first, do you think you can have power without having money, it's not done the way you expected, I've seen a rich man exercising power over the poor by taking his wife, some collect their property, all because they lack the money to file a lawsuit against their oppressors, i don't encourage using money for evil deeds but it can go as far as commanding things in place, people in power today were those that has money already and that catapulted them to higher position of power.
If you have to choose. then I choose money. because power can be bought with money. and power can be destroyed with money. but if there is another option. then I will prefer science. because with science then money and power will be easily obtained.
Power, bcz it has more respect, if i have power i can do anything that i want, power has a greater proportionate influence over money. there is great example of military, they have least salary but it has bang power and many peoples give respect
