If my post was DELETED you wouldn't SEE it

your stupidity just went to a new level. Congratulations.  @BrokeA$$Miner

LOL - back to weak ass ad-hominem trolling ? you sound like the last guy
btw - the post you whined in is still up, but you want me to take your
word for it that a post (or multiple posts) were deleted.  With no
proof, and such a way with words...how could I ever doubt you?

We've had the allocation of 20% to donors from day 1, and the majority (70%) will still be distributed through faucets.

I remember seeing that - the terms were good enough ($0.10/coin I think?) that I was/am interested in donating once
github it live.

He also closed donations then reopened them again..
The reason this post wasnt deleted is because he is probably sleeping right now.

OMG - your right! quick call the secret service...oh wait, the last guy did already...

Seriously though, this sub forum is 99% scams - all your doing is filling my
fucking inbox with possiblities we're all aware of...

on the other hand, if the white paper is halfway decent (won't have time
to read it till this weekend...) it'll be more then most 'legit' coins on this
forum manage.

So don't donate, check out the whitepaper, and wait-n-see like the rest of us?

When you created this thread you announced you would give away almost all of it through a faucet.

Now you are selling 20% to donors?

I am not going to outright say "scam" BUT you should of made your donor intentions clear right away when you claimed all of it was being distributed via a faucet like RaiBlocks.

RaiBlocks didn't take donations early on did it?

Guys its a scam.. The OP is back to deleting posts

Whatever you donate you will never get that money back.

A self moderated thread means he can just delete any posts that expose him.

We're back to this again?
Seriously, if you're not sold on the project - don't donate?
btw - seems your post was NOT deleted ?

Hey everyone!

We've put together a brief whitepaper to outline the design of Manta, as well as to give an easy to understand idea of how it'll function in general.

Best Regards,

Manta Dev Team

Awesome!  Looking forward to curling up with this over the weekend!

Thanks!

How do you guys hope to navigate the potential issues Raiblocks is currently having with exchanges?

We've seen the issues that RaiBlocks has had with its nodes and exchanges and look to avoid having those with Manta. The RaiBlocks team has already fixed most of the issues with their nodes, and we're looking to implement their improvements to Manta as well.

Hello,

Are donations still being accepted at this time?

Quote
Our fixed rate is $100 = 10500 MANTA, making the maximum MANTA supply to donators of $253,171.75 .
The USD amount of a donation will be calculated using coinmarketcap.com with regards to the time the donation was sent (via the transaction ID).

I see potential here.

Cheers.

Donations are still being accepted.
Which donation address I can send my coins to? Thanks.

At the bottom of our initial post, we have a list of addresses.

The white paper is a good start but raises many questions.

1. How are double spends prevented? Are nodes verifying each accounts ledger similar to RaiBlocks?

2. If so how is voting power delegated if account balances are secret?

3. Is it a typo or is intended to say that nodes have wallet private keys and control those wallets?

4. Do the sender and the receiver use the same sub-address in a transaction? If so it seems this would be very traceable.

Not trying to poke holes here just trying to learn.

Thank you.

1. Double spends are prevented by the nodes verification, as well as other security implementations that we're currently working on.

2. For Manta, we do plan on having voting power similar to RaiBlocks although with measures to prevent balance look-ups. This obfuscation is currently in progress, and we should be able to have it completed in a timely manner.

3. We meant to explain that a node needs the private key to create/receive transactions, I'll check the wording on the paper.

4. The send and receiver will each have their own sub-address, and due to the zero-knowledge setup, the receiver will not have info of the sender.

Hope this helps!
