You put in all the stops, it seems. But there are a lot of projects out there that read like yours: Lisk, Rise, Dlisk, Stratis, to name just a few. It will be hard for you to prove that you are capable of reaching your goals. Nevertheless, I'll be watching this.
But,
a self-moderated thread is a bad, bad move. Just saying.
Like we said in our FAQ:
"- The thread is moderated by logical reasons, I understand that several want to go unmoderated but then you cannot have a logical conversation without insults/accusations/ FUD."
Yes, but 1.: If you can't handle the Fud, there is either a good reason for it, or you are doing a bad job at explaining yourself, which both would be no-gos for me. The third possibility would be that you attracted some full-time trolls that nobody takes seriously anyway.
In my and a lot of other peoples books, being uncensored outweights the disadvantages of an unmoderated thread. Don't forget who you are communicating with here: this is not just a question of removing incriminating content, it is also about the philosophy an unmoderated thread represents. Having a moderated thread contradicts a philosophy of a free internet and free speech, which is widely popular amongst the possible investors you are trying to reach here*.
And 2.: You won't have much of a constructive discussion in a thread anyway. The basic structure of a thread doesn't really allow it to be little more than an announcement board, maybe combined with a kind of FAQ. Look at Lisk or Lbry: the main discussion happens over at slack/the chat, while the threads over here are mostly about prices, mining and, yes, fud. You'll find some Announcements in between, that's it.
Ok, my point has been made, I'll shut up now. Good luck
*I am not saying, that it is not ok to remove anything or that it is bad to have moderated spaces in general, it is just that Bitcointalk is not such a place.
