IDENA.IO - Proof-Of-Person Blockchain
as a big fan of XRB this project really resonates with me. I like the honesty of the dev. This might be the earliest I was able to be part or watch a project grow. Please dev continue with what you're doing. I will be donating when I've gotten some funds. I like to support this project.

1) On the price manipulation topic: if there is no real cost for a transaction all you have to do is pay the spread for the exchange. As seen in other 'free' currencies sometimes even exchanges engage in price pumping, especially if costs are 0 or close to 0.

What ? Costs are not 0 if fees are 0. And this has litterally nothing to do with fee-less transfer. Exchanges fees and transfer fees are completely different things. And to pump&dump a coin, it's costing you money. Because you have to buy the asset.

2) On the flooding with transactions topic:
How complex will the PoW be to deter an attacker from DoSing the network with 1 cent transactions to himself? We have 3 cases here to discuss:
- an individual with only a few machines available (probably rented in a cloud)
- organized crime with a botnet (think Russian business network)
- unfriendly government

PoW is complex enough to make it expensive. PoW difficulty can be adjusted so it becomes unfeasible even to a large botnet.

>- easy to manipulate the price up by making fake transactions to your self

Price has nothing to do with transfer of value.

>- easy to crash the market by flooding it with millions of transactions to stop all processing

It's not easy, really, each transaction you send you have to do a PoW, so millions of transactions spamming would be a very expensive thing to do, just as RaiBlocks.

Sorry for asking uncomfortable questions. A lot of users/fans of various coins may consider this FUD, but in the long run (say 10 years from now) the only coins that will still exist are most likely the ones that manage to check all boxes in decentralization (and resistance to government attack), scalability, and low costs. To put things in perspective,  bitcoin right now fails at all 3 (4 mining pools own 51%, there is a huge backlog of unprocessed transactions, and fees are as high as 100$ now).

I have a question about the free transaction aspect. I see this as a danger to the network. If it's free you can do two nasty things:
- easy to manipulate the price up by making fake transactions to your self
- easy to crash the market by flooding it with millions of transactions to stop all processing

How are you going to address this, and do you think it's worth addressing considering there are already 2 DAG coins that are "free"?

How much development experience do you have?

What languages and libraries will you use to build it?

I cannot see this project being much of a success without smart contracts.  Do you have a plan to add this functionality?

My questions have gone unanswered.

I was going to ask the same thing. What experience you have and on what languages?

What's the max cap of the contribution? When will it end?

For donations? there is no cap, i do not really have a use for hundreds of thousands of dollars, so just donate what you can if you wish to be a part of birthing the project.

After a little brainstorming last night i have decided to reward the STONE's supporters with 30% of the STONE supply, as donations will be the legs of this project, 30% will be spread between all donators, with percentages based on donation size. I cannot stress enough how really appreciative of the donator's i am so far, they show a sense of high respect to myself and the project, thank you. The other 70% of the supply is still undecided on distribution model, i would like it to preferably be extremely fair with no chance for small numbers of holders to gain a large percentage, as i'm against planned pump groups as it brings no value to any project, i'm still working on that part, i will propose/advise when i come up with a solution.

I have updated the OP with a list of current donator's.

Hi been a lurker for long decided to register cause I'm interested on your project.

Anyway you may do what Stellar did before, they distributed stellar(lumens) to those people who have valid facebook account. I'll be happy to send you some donation.

But with a DPOS(raiblocks) is not good selection,it is not a decentralized peer to peer network.

What makes you say that ? RaiBlocks is a decentralized p2p network, with nodes.

Will make any donator mod on the Discord, just PM me.

Byteball was founded by a genius Dev he never ask for any donation he just work a lot and talk a little 30% of the coin going to donators that sound crazy for me donation off course are welcome but they should be for the sake of donation not for the sake of getting some big share in stone now stone is 30%ICO and 70% or less airdrop let’s see what’s coming next.

i like the approach, and like the project name, i can see thought has gone unto this (rai stone)

Looking foward to seeing how the rest of distribution will be panned out! hopefully something free Smiley glad you did not go down the “raise a million bucks” crowdsale type thing everyone is doing right now.

I beleive this project will go far, just take your time and do it right the first time, dont be influenced by people rushing you or telling you what you can, and what you cannot do.

will donate a little XRB tonight, dont want anything in return, just donating to keep those coffee”s going Smiley

Well probably better make an ICO and you don’t have to worry about donations any more I can start smelling some sort of scam here.

And the donation period will last until the project goes live?

why you can't promise for Exchange listings and Price increase?? it shows that you are pesimist for this project

I don't like to make promised for things which are not in my control, i am not able to increase the price or insert it on an exchange, what i can do is code, ill create the foundations and the community will act accordingly.

Great reply. Watching this one, best of luck.
