This person that is so hostile to you is an agent, unwittingly or not, of U.S.A.'s policy of aggression against the Venezuelan people and its democratically elected government, because Venezuela is trying to act liberate itself from Washington's control. This person participates in this forum only to attack the Venezuelan government; he's not interested in crypto currency.

Perhaps you are right but he still understands the petro better than Maduro does.

It's a double-edged sword with the average Venezuelan citizen getting fucked at both ends:

- the U.S. is indeed actively trying to undermine the Venezuelan economy as punishment for not allowing their corporations entry to their country

- the current administration in VE is completely inept and corrupt and absolutely do not care about bettering the lives of their people.
Yes, and if somebody wants to tell me, that it is a good idea to let US cooperations into your state, then you must me out of your mind!
Yes, corruption is everywhere, in some states and countries more, in some less. Look at Rumania, there the people are protesting against it since months. How about the US, in a study from a US university the US is far more near to a be lead by oligarchs than by "women and men of state"

And if a stupid president tries to chocke a country just because it will not let cooperations onto it's ground, again i recall a wise man who once said "If you need vio...."

Hello.
I fully agree with your point of view regarding of Venezuela.
Want to ask you a question, cuz i did not undestand one point.
It would be very grateful if you explain, or at least tell me where I can read.
As we can see, after April 2018 100 million petro were issued.
Looking at the emitted coins, I do not understand why they are so many varieties?

Can you help me understand this confusion?
Thank you very much in advance!

You are welcome,
honestly speaking i by myself have to read into it and take a closer look for the details, hence i also do not understand some points in this "setup", but if i do, i will let you know  Cheesy

Hy there,

i find this concept really interesting and i want to participate in this project.

1.) Where can i buy into Petro (exchange)?
2.) Who is protecting my interests?
3.) Who is legally responsible for this, if it explodes for example?
4.) Is there an official Thread from the Venezuelan government on this forum?

Trump is probably rolling on the floor and crying  Grin

The concept is interesting and partly because its government backed in its propagation which is especially unusual.    I dont suppose it will have success but its possible they create some positives by accident, the law of unintended consequences runs strong with any government operation and in this case against such a negative backdrop we can be hopeful of something occurring secondary as a positive.

As far as buying Petro you probably should not unless you already do trade with Venezuela regularly.   It could land you in alot of trouble possibly if you are in country holding sanctions against this regime.

Most relevant for your questions might be to read on the court proceedings occurring for the debts of the PDVSA national oil company.   I think their assets are being sold off to settle non payment.    I doubt at this stage you would have any recourse within the country itself, these assets are USA based so Venezuela  has little choice on this process where as PTR is in their hands.
There is no official thread that I've seen but ask in the Spanish speaking forums perhaps

The supply of PTR is not capped apparently.  Really for this crypto idea to take off it needs to far less confined to the ideas of government control but it saves the wasted paper and ink

Indeed, there exists a saying

Let's see how this is developing, but the fact that a state tries to get out of a grip from an invasive country by the help of this technology and idea, is worth a try. Here in Europe it's all fine with Venezuela, so it honestly doesn't bother me.

I do not know what part of Europe you are. But if you do not know, it's best to shut up.

Europe thinks what the rest of the world about the regime that ravages Venezuela.

I honestly don't know why you are beeing so hostile towards me in person, but i do think i do know that not all Europe has the same attitude towards Venezuela as you obviously think  Grin

You know what i don't like about the US? They are playing police on the better half of the world and want to bring everybody and every state under their mindset and think they are doing wellfare to the rest of the globe. In fact they need the wars in an economic perspective, hence else the industrial military complex doesn't survive. The US honestly believes, that they can regulate everything with their military which implies violence, without taking into account, that in a respective and mature manner talking and solving issues and topics is far wiser, more mature and better.
A wise man once said

They did $5000 🤦🏾‍♂️...

Economist Luis Gavazut recently declared that the pre-sale of Petro, in April, generated $3,338 millions, as a result of negotiations with big firms. If this is true, I believe all Petro purchases, including the smaller ones, will eventually be recognized as valid.

well, this is really strange for me.
Do you have a link with an official announcement?
news about Venezuela in English:
https://www.telesurtv.net/english
https://venezuelanalysis.com

I can't believe that PETRO will be a real currency in venezuela...
we are still waiting for that.

mmm, i can't find those news.

i would like a direct link where the government of venezuela says that petro will be an official currency..

Petro will not be the official currency.
The value of the official currency (Sovereign Bolivar) will be determined  (pegged to) the variable daily value of Petro.

and the value of petro will be linked to the value of a barrel of oil. Correct?
Well, this may not be enough to avoid the svalutation of bolivar..
