The market cap of bitcoin or the price of it should be focused on increasing it via mass adoption and not just expecting an ETF approval. Personally, i think that an ETF will bring more fluctuations in the market because there will be more whales that will have an impact on the bitcoin price.

Okay so is true that they can actually sell bitcoin with just certificates or a piece of paper that tells they own BTC and this can make the price plunge down. If BTC goes down, shall the price of any altcoin can also go up like those utility and security tokens?

Well eventually one of these etfs will get an approval and it's likely to be this year. Though the effect may not be what some of us here are expecting. Of course an approval would probably trigger an increase in price since people might think it'll bring confidence back to the market by the bulk. And it likely will but i doubt if it can be sustained for a long time.

No doubt that good news always boosts the market, so I hope that ETF approval will also put a very good effect on bitcoin price. If it gets the approval it will give a very good effect to the market. Expect that boost but don't think that it will turn the market into bullish that quick. Expectations for the ETF's are too high so that's why I don't want to have that high hopes with it.
If it turns out to be a bad result, we will don't care at all but if it gets the approval that will create that effect that we are waiting for.

I am sure that sooner or later Bitcoin ETF will be accepted, but now it is a political tool and no one knows how long they will play with it.

people said it many times,but the fact now only ETF approval that could attract investors comeback to cryptocurrency market and buying bitcoin.in any forum or group we heard this, they need ETF to add their confidence and comfortable investing in crypto.and dont forget the highest ever marketcap on cryptocurrency market was supported by institutional investors.they could back to market if ETF already approved.

Bitcoin ETFs are likely to be approved this time. This will be fueled well if the price of bitcoin keeps its present price stability. This is what the SEC need to make sure that bitcoin is not just a piece of manipulated coins as said by haters.
I personally, do not think about approvals or rejections but looking at the statements circulating, it is highly possible.

Hey if you’re not aware then let me inform you, there will be no Bitcoins Etf approval this year, due to USA government shutdown the last Etf proposal was withdrawn. I don’t feel we will be seeing any impact on prices, as there were few chances of it being approved. There is good news though as there’s a slim hope it’ll be approved in 2020 so we will have to wait for it.

USA Government shutdown will not remain forever and i think it can be approved later this year, maybe in the 2nd quarter 2019. Don't lose hope.

After Friday announcement hopes for ETF approval came back
There is still possible to have ETF approved that year
If you ask for price prediction than i think bitcoin can set up new ATH
One day bitcoin ETF will be approved
I think that Bakkt is much more important for Bitcoin than ETF only
As for now we can pray to avoid yet another USA shutdown

Depends from how people and investors will interpret this news, if more will buy and start investing due to this information we will see positive
trend and start some pumped around the market, and yes it can only be a temporary pumped and uncertain movements and possibly followed by
more dumped when those who able to gained a lot will start selling and another cycle will be past.

ETF proposals should never be implemented in bitcoin or applied for the circulation and use of bitcoin because ETFs will make people not free to have bitcoin and will be full of very complicated regulations.

i think your opinion totally wrong.etf approval would not make bitcoin danger.i could not imagine in which side bitcoin become dangerous thing after SEC approved ETF.it will good news for crypto community when ETF approved.
