Chelsea though haven't made significant signings this summer transfer window but they've been able to sign few young players to the team which are expected to blend in with the players of the club already. The club's new manager have been saddled with the responsibility of helping the club become competitive again especially in the English Premier League. Like you rightly said, Chelsea might not be able to win the English Premier League title next season but expect them to finish in the top four of the league table.
It’s going to be a hard job for this Chelsea new manager, Maresca. He’s definitely going to continue from where Pochettino stopped. Chelsea are still making more signings, providing options for Maresca for his style of play. The manager was tasked with a new system of play from Pochettino's. They want possession football and its usually requires a lot of discipline and techniques to execute this style of play.
Finishing the league in a good spot on the table should be their goal. Because there’s no way they would want to compete with Manchester City and Arsenal this season. They have a young, unsettled squad that needs balance before they can start a discussion about winning the league title.

Has anyone noticed how Chelsea are treating their home grown players? It's a disrespectful way to go about such a thing honestly. How can they treat Trevor Chalobah and Conor Gallagher forcing them out of the club these way? I'm disappointed in them and the management. These are core players for the club, one had a good contribution last season for Chelsea, while the other won the Champions League Competition. This is indeed awful!
Because Pochettino is no longer on Chelsea therefore the club freely sold those to other clubs. maybe it's been a long time that club want sell those player, but because it was held back by the previous coach so that it still survives until the end of the season. we certainly can't blame them because with the new manager, maybe there are other policies regarding player composition. but at least chelsea should be keep them on Stamford bridge because their contribution is quite crucial bring them to survive until now.
When coaches change, schemes and players are bound to change and now some players who don't fit into Enzo Maresca's plans will certainly be let go.
It's a normal thing in the end because after all, with a different scheme of play, there are bound to be players who leave and come to make Enzo's ideal line-up and it's definitely not going to be the same as what Poche did before.

This is one of the reasons that too many transitions lead to money being wasted and players coming and going so quickly that performance becomes unstable as a result of the season after season, which damages the chemistry that is actually being built.

At the moment, Enzo Maresca's actions are not as extreme as the previous coach but seeing from what is happening now, the reshuffle will still be done especially by looking at the friendly matches Chelsea did, they actually don't have a good thing to be proud of before the new EPL season starts.

Saliba is one of the key players in Arsenal, so this will be difficult to let him go at his high performance.
Arteta was already prepared for the worst to let him go if Real Madrid pressed on, but they did not, and that is lucky for Arsenal because it now gives them more options of quality defenders to use in important games.
If Saliba does stay at Arsenal, then their defenders will certainly be much stronger. Saliba will most likely be paired with Calafiori who they just signed up for their back line. This is already quite enough. Both are top Centre-Backs, their ages are also not much different, 23 and 22 years old. So, their cooperation will be much faster. However, Calafioru's position is wider, because he can also be included in the Left Midfield or Left-Back position.

Well, in case, with their respective main positions, some of the biggest possibilities for Arsenal's lineup for their main lineup will be like this:

Possibility lineup by transfermarkt

Todd Boehly has invested a lot of money now to build Chelsea into a title contender, but Todd Boehly should also have the patience to see Chelsea become champions in the future because after all investing a lot of money does not guarantee that they will immediately become champions in leagues and European competitions, because  it takes a lot of time for the process of developing a team and this is not easy to do although they have a great coach,
This is why, in this transfer market, Chelsea also recruited many players who are still very young. There are even 3 players who are still under 20 years old. While in other positions, they also recruited players who are not actually top but they have the talent, and their age is still very productive. And 1 more, they seem to not intend to spend too much money for just 1 player. That is why Chelsea is very careful in making decisions regarding Osimhen who until now has not been done deal.

If you're right about that, what happened is that I see the MU as a team that can do great things, it's that from the basics, when I see their squad I see gratitude, I see players who have many skills and can make the difference, for that reason I see that they can change, of course, many criticize Maguire and the players you mention, but it's that they are players that I feel are caged, that they aren't allowed to do everything they can do, I don't know, but I think that if Ten Hag continues he has to do something quickly to change his formation or strategy, the good thing is that they have always been in a PL where the demand is higher, sometimes the MU shows Greatness , but sometimes they fall to levels that I don't understand.

They have what it takes to compete at the highest levels in the Champions League Competition and also winning the Premier League Competition, but they have to raise their standards, game and mentality to catch up with clubs like Manchester City, Arsenal and Liverpool who are far more dangerous than Manchester United.
I agree with what you say, but I want them to aim higher, whenever I look back to the kind of team Manchester United use to be, I look at this current squad and laugh.

I think Chelsea is ready for the English Premier League which will be kickoff in a couple of days. This is not a good time to start blaming or throwing uneven odds, there are hope for the future of the Blues. Chelsea made brilliant signings and we understand how the scope of the new coach. I'm happy with the new development of the Blues and Todd Boehly wouldn't jeopardized with the club's budget. He ensures he goes for the very best available factors and Enzo Maresca will help us achieve the ultimate budgets on the lists.
Let's hope there'll be significant positive changes in the Chelsea team but we shouldn't expect magic to happen. It will still follow a normal process. It is more than 2 seasons now that Chelsea have not seen the top 4 of the English premier league. So, if they eventually see the top 4 this time around, it should be counted for Chelsea as a big achievement. It must not be to win the EPL as I know that Chelsea cannot win EPL this season. The only two teams prepared for winning the EPL this season remains Arsenal and Manchester city.

Pochettino's help has not helped Chelsea's start to the season. Despite performing well in a few matches, we saw Chelsea's erratic and poor performance in most of the matches.
We all knew that Pochettino's performance was just so poor last season. His performance got better towards the end of the season, no one expected him to play well towards the end of the season. That was the reason why everyone wanted Chelsea management to give him more time, because everyone was thinking he had been able to build the squad that he needed for the club, but he wasn’t given more time. I was thinking he would be given one more season, but he wasn’t given the opportunity, I just hope Chelsea will give the new coach time to stabilize things.

Chelsea have changed their coach. Enzo Maresca is now Chelsea's new coach. But is Enzo Maresca an experienced enough coach?
Sure, he is an experienced coach, and I am expecting something positive from him, but Chelsea will have to give him time. I am not expecting anything from him in the first season, but if Chelsea can have patience, then he should be able to achieve something for them.

Yeah, this is too early to criticize. We should wait and see what they will do if the season starts. However, Chelsea seems to be strong next season, and they are getting ready for the Premier League competition too. I think they are going to get higher next season because they got new players in the squad and also a new coach, which seems to come with experience, so I expect Chelsea's performance to be better next season, but I hope the management will not spoil things for the manager because Chelsea management always wants quick results. I am hoping for them to be at the top next season.

Chelsea should be ready for battle with their current player structure, but we don't know whether or not the new signings will be effective and how their debut in the English Premier League will start.

No matter how good an army is under poor leadership, the Chelsea players have improved and transfers have been completed to meet the needs of the team, but if Enzo Maresca is not good at using the forces available, it will be useless, because even a stupid army will be useful if the leader is very smart.

Well, I start from something, if the changes that are going to occur in the club are for the well-being of the team, I think then one as a fan must adapt, this club when I was little inspired a lot of respect in me, because I saw it as the roughest club in English football , even in the football championships I went to, I was somewhat afraid of the English when they played because I know that their football is very rough, very similar to that of the Colombians, but it is a beautiful style, and that style belongs to MU, that is why not everyone plays in the PL currently, I want to see MU play in UCL finals, I want to see them beat City, that is the MU that we want to see.

Changes takes time, and if you are a great Manchester United fan who wants change, you'll be pushing for Manchester United to get done with players like Harry Maguire, Victor Lindelof, Scott MC Tominay, Aaron Wan Bisakka and those players contributing bringing down the clubs with low standards.
When you look at how they played against Liverpool last season and also against Manchester City, you'd see that they're gradually pushing backup.

I do not know too well about the Colombians, but I know James Rodriguez and Juan Cuadrado. What I know is all about Manchester United and I know when they're not doing well. You cannot want them to win the  Champions League Competition with these poor standards my guy, they have a while lot to do..

In thr next few days ahead they'll be up against Manchester City in the community shield. Manchester United will not win that game because I know they're not even ready yet, the signatures I expected to be done are not done yet.

I mean technically speaking in premier league Chelsea is the third ranked team for player valuation if you look at transfermarkt. Not only they have many highly valued players, but they also have plenty of players and a huge depth as well. So logic states that they should eb winning something, or ranked high in the league and do fine, they should have done better last season as well.

However, when reality hits, they are not as good as they are ranked, I have absolutely no clue why, but the math says chemistry issues, I mean when all of these good players get together they either play good, or they are good and play bad, which usually happens because players do not get along with each other that well, or they do not get used to the strategy that the manager makes them play.

Last year it was that, Pochettino asked them to do something and they failed, which isn't really a shocker, it was his first year, they didn't give him enough time, but the results were really terrible. I believe that they are going to do fine eventually with someone, but I am not sure if it will be this dude or not. They are spending money like crazy so it should become something that will be quite fine in the end.

But what's the negative about fans that want their coach to win a title when the club that is coached is called Chelsea? I think it is not the same when the discussion is about Bournemouth, but a team like Chelsea with all the investment they have made into the team over recent years should of course aim for a top result. Does it have to be the title? I don't know, but I understand as a fan that if a billion was pumped into the squad and I pay horrendously ticket prices that there is some demand created for success on the fans' part.

What should they expect in your opinion? You are right about Lampard though, he hasn't been doing very well.

Chelsea should be chasing the tittle if they want fans still come to stamford bridge. but yeah it's a bit difficult especially they are in the best league in the world, maybe with the current composition of players now, chelsea will be the champion if they are in a league where the competition is not tight like ligue 1 or eredivisie. Chelsea have to fight hard right now, the team on premier league getting stronger day by day with many large investors invest their money on the club. I don't think if just equating them Chelsea able to be a champion because some clubs have already gone ahead to recruit the new best player and coach.
Todd Boehly has invested a lot of money now to build Chelsea into a title contender, but Todd Boehly should also have the patience to see Chelsea become champions in the future because after all investing a lot of money does not guarantee that they will immediately become champions in leagues and European competitions, because  it takes a lot of time for the process of developing a team and this is not easy to do although they have a great coach, and even Guardiola, Klopp and Arteta need time to bring the team they train to become a challenger for the title so far in the EPL, the only thing that must be done by Todd Boehly is giving Enzo Maresca time now so that they can fulfill all the hopes of fans who want to see their team winner again, the English league is a very competitive league and no team has been guaranteed to can win the English league before season end so far.

In my opinion, if Chelsea still likes to fire coaches, Chelsea will never be champions again because by firing the previous coach, Chelsea must start from scratch again. We know that Pochettino has actually built a good team, Todd Boehly should have given him one more season. But now Chelsea with a new coach, he definitely needs to adapt again even though the squad left by the previous coach has the best squad. But it feels difficult for Chelsea to compete this season, not to underestimate the current coach but the reality is that no coach can be successful with a new club in one season.

If you look at the friendly match, Chelsea is not that bad but Chelsea still needs to improve the way they maintain their defense. Otherwise, they will be destroyed when playing against elite teams in the EPL league. I also hope that the culture of firing coaches at Chelsea can be eliminated, because building a strong squad takes a process, it cannot be done instantly.

Lol, Chelsea will end up like Manchester United, a team that get controlled by fans and never trust a process, all they want is coach must able to make the team to win Premier League and Champions League in his first season.

Anyway why the fans asked Todd Boehly to message Lampard? Lampard is a failed coach.
If this habit is not changed immediately, Chelsea will always have difficulty winning the EPL and Champions League trophies. It is very impossible for the newly-arrived coach to meet the club's expectations in his first season, the first season is a transition or to start improving the squad to slowly get out of the slump.
The process is something that cannot be excluded, Chelsea's treatment of Tuchel and Pochettino is a hasty action without waiting for the results achieved after going through the process. It will be very difficult for Chelsea to develop if they are still under pressure or controlled by the fans, the request from Chelsea fans to ask Todd Boehly to send a message to Lampard indicates that Chelsea's top brass are still in the grip of the fans.

Chelsea since they lost Abramovic , they really went down in all aspects so it's nothing surprising for me to see Chelsea doing poor in all categories. At this point , I think no matter what coach they bring , no matter how many good transfers will made , they won't be able to fight for EPL title and it might require at least 4-5 years until this team will re-gain the winning mentality.

Chelsea really spent a lot of money last season. In Todd Boehly's era Chelsea had spent around a billion pounds on player purchases and unfortunately they failed in any competition. I think it is natural that fans are disappointed with the previous manager because the money given was wasted because they failed to choose good players. This is different from Roman Abramovich's era who also bought a lot of players but they managed to become a successful team.

Todd Boehly spent more than 1 billion euros on transfers. Apart from Thomas Tuchel, his choice of manager is very questionable. Names like Graham Potter and Lampard have disappointed with their performances. Likewise, the transfers have also been disappointing. Nkunku, Mudryk, Enzo Fernandez failed to reach their potential. Actually, I don't blame these young players because the chaotic situation of Chelsea club is not something they can change. Chelsea need a president who knows his job, in my opinion. When we compare the Roman Abramovich era with the Todd Boehly era, everything becomes clearer.

About Chelsea's performance, I'm not sure they will improve. No improvement so far has been shown by Chelsea in the pre-season games. Pochettino did better in the pre-season games compared to Maresca.
That's why fans have asked Todd Boehly to message Lampard. Fans are expecting Todd boehly to sack Maresca in the middle of the season. Fans are not having big expectation to the Maresca.

The expectation of Chelsea's fans is for their club to do well and win the title for them. They are passionate about the team but it they are aware that they pay handsomely for stadium tickets and flight ticket, hotel rooms, and other expenses anytime they come to watch their favorite team. The only thing tey want in return is to win, win and win again. That is what would be satisfying for their fans.

Anyway, Lampard is not worth the hype he has not been doing well and I dont think he is the savior Chelsea needs now. Pochettino is still doing great for the club. They only need to adjust with the player they have to do better when the season starts.
