The remaining matches of Round 21 are going to be played at the weekend. I will be watching the Arsenal v Crystal Palace match especially. Because as you have seen there is a significant level of decrease in their performance level recently. Arsenal won only once in the past 5 league matches and lost 3 of them. This is just horrible for a team competing for the championship.  Sad

Crystal Palace aren't a big threat to Arsenal on paper. But Arteta still needs to prepare his players very well for this match in Emirates. They can't underestimate their opponent even a bit. I will bet on Arsenal to win and hopefully they can put an end to this bad series.  Undecided

Hojlund is at least trying to be better in the Premier League as well which is what I like in him. He doesn't just take a stroll on the pitch in the matches he play.  Smiley

When it comes to the fee amount he was transferred for it is the truth that it is a big one. He was transferred for 74 million euros according to Transfermarkt. But the board must be also aware of the fact that they need to be patient about him. He is only 20 years old now. Comparing him to Haaland wouldn't be fair as there aren't many examples like Haaland in today's football.  Grin  But in the long run I believe that Hojlund will also be a solid scorer.
From the beginning of his arrival at Manchester United, the perspective on Hijlund was too much because seeing from what happened before we know that the hype of Hojlund to Manchester United and comparing him from the beginning with Haaland also happened because of the actions of fans so it is not wrong then until now he will continue to be compared with Haaland especially When it comes to performance issues because after all things like that are already like embedded quite strongly and it is difficult to eliminate rumors like this because it has been imprinted since the beginning and we cannot prohibit fans from saying things like this because it does not happen in their consciousness so they will not remember things like this.
On the other hand, it is not wrong to say that Haaland and Hojlund cannot be compared but in this case we must have known that this will still be a spice for the problems that occur at Manchester City and United so regardless of the ban you want to do in the end things like that will continue to exist because Hojlund and Haaland are 2 strikers who have Manchester City and United so surely they will always be associated.

I also think the same about Hojlund with people who say he is not good enough yet because of being very young and playing in a new environment. At the same time this environment is a much more competitive one than where he came from. In the Serie A he was struggling to adapt and here it is pretty much the same - in the Premier League at least.

However I must admit that he was really great in the Champions League. He is still one of top scorers in the tournament you know despite his team's being eliminated in the group stage. Moreover he started to adapt to the Premier League recently as well considering his last performances. I hope he goes on like this.  Smiley

Those who bash him are not good viewers of football honestly. They fail to understand that four of the five goals Rasmus Hojlund converted or scored all came from his own individual performance anf hardwork.
Manchester United wingers and attacking midfielder's have indeed created fewer chances for him to score goals. It's okay for people to talk about it because he was brought in for a huge fee.

Although I doubt he'll score up to ten league goal in the Premier League Competition this exact season for Manchester United. He's not a bad player, he tracks back and also defends when mandatory. He's gonna make history with the club!

I won't even do that, Why compare Erling Haaland and Rasmus Hojlund? Good God! I won't join the discussion as I consider it disrespect to Erling Haaland.
He was already well developed as a Salzburg player and then Moving to Borrussia Dortmund brought him good consistency and upgrades with the assistance he had from his old mates like Jadon Sancho and Marco Reus.

For Rasmus Hojlund, he need some time, maybe henhaas the experience already this season he'll do better next then. Of they feel like they want a backup player for that role, they shouldn't bother spending too much money and ensure the return of Mason Greenwood happens immediately.

I think it would be funny to compare him to Haaland. Why not compare him with other players at the same level? I don't think Hojlund has reached Haaland's level yet. But I like his determination and hard work on the field. If you look at the records on transfmarkt, I think Hojlund's transfer value is very expensive, but if he continues to work hard on the pitch, I think he can become a solid striker in the next few seasons. I hope he is really consistent and willing to work hard on the field. And hopefully he will be given lots of playing time to improve his skills.
I have watched the Manchester United striker play, and I can attest to the fact that he is a better striker,if he were to play in a good team that has coordination and better playing pattern, you would have seen how good he is.A team like Arsenal will really fit his Calibre of person,he loves phisical football therefore becomes a threat to defenders. But despite how good he is,he is not yet on thesame page with Haaland.Haaland is a beast when it comes to scoring goals,he know's exactly where to place the ball and it will enter the back of the net,I mean Haaland is a complete bstriker who has everything a striker would need to be able to do well.He has the height, phisicality,he can dribble and run with the ball,so they are no match.Haaland is a better striker compared to him

Arteta has been preparing another surprise for us and as you can see that arsenal has been targeting an old guy like benzema. Arsenal has been trying to open the talk to get him as a loan from saudi pro legue club. Im thinking benzema was not the rigth choice for arsenal but this guy was not that bad compared to the other expensive striker. Arsenal will take him as a loan only from saudi pro league club. People were also getting shocked to see that how arsenal was opening talk to get benzema from ittihad as a loan.

Im seeing it as a setback for arsenal caused by benzema has a very big salary but he will come as a loan from ittihad which is good enough. The final decision will be on ittihad caused by the clon was owning the contract with benzema.
Arsenal will try so hard to approach him from ittihad. Some feel this was a bad decision from arteta but the rest was not feeling it as a bad decision. I hope that arsenal and benzema will come to the agreement between both of parties.
Yes, I have also heard this rumor but I don't know, in my opinion borrowing Benzema from Ittihad is not a bad thing rather than having to buy him at a very expensive price. Currently Arsenal really needs a productive striker and Benzema is a good choice even though Benzema is old and maybe His stamina is different but his performance is still good during the season. He has provided 11 goals and 5 assists so far in 17 matches so he is no worse than the striker that Arsenal currently has.

In my opinion, this is not a setback, Mikel Arteta has definitely thought about this carefully, so they are just borrowing him, maybe only until this season ends so that Arsenal doesn't suffer big losses even though they have to pay Benzema very expensively, and hopefully if the rumors This is really happening. I would be very happy to see Benzema return to the European league and compete in the big league again, even if not at Real Madrid.

Manchester United's acquisition of Hoylund is overrated, as the young player's potential remains unproven, where he scored just nine goals in play napoli one seasson. Prior to this, he played for lesser-known and less popular clubs. His productivity as a striker in Manchester United's Premier League team is also minimal, lacking the necessary potency. Instead of purchasing Hoylund, they should consider Harry Kane, whose price is not significantly different.

Hojlund's transfer fee is high because he is still young and also Hojlund has quite good potential so that in the future he will become a good striker in Gadang Gadang so the price is high, I think that is reasonable.
However, at his young age, it is very unfair to set expectations that are too high, especially compared to Haaland, it is not feasible.
With Hojlund's quality individually I believe he will improve even more in the future but back to the team and his teammates too, if he gets a lot of support.

Benzema to Arsenal??
Well impressive especially when you consider that they need a striker dearly and Benzema yes he’s quite old but he’s got the experience. Arteta must really understand that his team aren’t productive upfront and that reason, he needs a striker.

Now the financial part is that they could get under FFP if they’re not careful because Benzema is a big name and he’s receiving huge amount while at Saudi. But I believe the board will be able to check on the situation and know a way out. Benzema in this Arsenal squad, well I’m seeing a little improvement but not enough to match Manchester City and Liverpool though, they'll still need more suitable backup that would match City or liverpool's squad depth.

Hmm... Arsenal are still quite silent in the transfer window. We have already got past the first half of January. They won't have a long time to finish the deals in their mind if they wait longer.

I wonder why Arteta is still waiting in fact.  Huh  Because he looked quite keen on making some signings in this month. Maybe a move for Serhou Guirassy? I think that it might be possible. Because he has a release clause worth only 17.5 million € now. If they have a more effective scorer like him they can be more assertive for the title race as well. But let's see what goes around Arteta's mind in the coming days.
Mikel Arteta is not in a rush to make a transfer agreement this month because he is also waiting for an FFP agreement so that they can carry out player transfers in peace considering that the regulations are very strict, and I also don't know the latest news regarding how many players Arsenal want to buy because it's too There are many rumors about players being linked to Arsenal so we have to wait until this transfer season ends and see if Arsenal makes any player changes but I think Mikel Arteta will still do it in order to strengthen their performance in the English league and also in the Champions League.

Yes Serhou Guraissy could be a good choice considering the price is not too high but playing in the Bundesliga and Premier League is a very different thing in the English league which is full of players who have good potential I doubt Serhou Guraissy can perform as well as in the Bundesliga considering the Bundesliga not as competitive as the Premier League.

Arsenal's actions, including their present style of play and folding of the hands, indicate that they are not currently interested in any player. It's obvious that they're not serious, but I don't want to alienate Arsenal supporters by saying too much. Arsenal hasn't won a championship in years; all they do is compete and place in the top four. Arteta is not the right fit for Arsenal because he is unreliable in everything and doesn't take winning seriously because he currently has nothing impressive to show off. They have topped the table how many times but still falling from it. Serhou Guirassy is it what Arsenal need. So if they feel that is what they need then they should go for him.

Wrong!

He was the main main leading the attack for Manchester United as everyone played the ball to see him score. Wout Weghorst did most of the marking and tracking balls ( one of the reasons I saw people as crap who come on here to bash him because they don't look at his team work and work rate for Manchester United last season )

This season, Manchester United has a new number nine and Marcus Rashford has refused to create chances for the Rasmus Hojlund.

I don't want to say much about him, take a look at Granacho, the team's performance poor but he tries to up hisngake at all times, top player with top mentality. I hope Erik Ten Hag dumps him on the bench.
Well a player could be scoring goals and yet his team play is really below average vice versa. This is the case for Garnacho and Weghrost. The former is quite young but yet plays as if he’s the only one on the pitch even though he gets some important amd match winning goa but that’s poor coming from him.

During the loan spell of Weghrost we could see how he came down deep to help defend and get the back then push for attack and this is one criteria of a quality player. The new striker is pretty good but with sting playmakers around. Oops, i think ETH should try and build this his team and their teamwork else he could join José Mourinho on the list of sacked managers this season, he has to do everything possible to buy the heart of Sir Jim and his group to retain him as United's manager next season.

Yeah, if a player like Wout Weghorst slow and and sluggish would track back and help defend, who's a player like Marcus Rashford the supporting striker in a way hop? Maybe he's been disturbed by this superstar mentality and impression from Paul Pogba and them rest. When I see him talk about Cristiano Ronaldo as his idol I burst out and laugh out my lungs because Marcus Rashford has nothing to shoe and prove, take a look at players who have taken an extra mile to be like them goat! Vini, 'Drygo, Garnacho. Man! I can't be stressing too much on Rashford.

Take a look at Kylian Mbappe a player he started before is at a top level because he kept his head to the game. Manchester United management sack Erik Ten Hag and then they're doing themselves, I haven't seen who's out there that'll do a better job for Manchester United. Only name I can call is Pep Guardiola but he'll never manage Manchester United.

So far, kroenke has not yet announced the budget for arteta for this winter transfer season. This makes arsenal is not even moving, the club was not also being so loudly regarding the potential of its transfer. We do know that some strikers linked to the arsenal like toney but arteta is still waiting for confirmation regarding the budget given by the owner to shoop and strengthen its squad. The finish can be done easily as long as the target can fully cooperate with arsenal but there is also possibilities for arsenal to do nothing in winter transfer season.

Arteta is still waiting for kroenke. I remember that kroenke was always announcing how much money allocated for arsenal. This is also impacting the movement of arsenal. Im thinking that if guirassy has become the best choice for this. It's still remain unclear which player has been targeting by arsenal. Guirassy's price still make sense but let's wait even further regarding this. Arteta shall not be deciding it based on his emotional. He needs to calmly considering it many times. It's caused by shall not make another mistake in buying the new player for the club.

Arsenal can do it better soon.

I do not actually think that Arsenal should hastily enter into the January transfer window. Arsenal has some pretty kind of players that are able to deliver them this season, if not for some kind of unprecedented injuries, these guys we are fully ready for this season. I only blame their head coach for not easily reintegrating the injured players into the team. Some of the players who has been absent are full of experience and they have the winning mentality. The best thing to do is that when such players with winning mentality are injured, you have no option than to let them recover but immediately they recover and fit to play again you quickly reintegrate them into the team in order to return to the winning track. Lately, Arsenal has been struggling more than expected and if they continue so, it will be so difficult for them to make the top four.

We should not also forget that in the last transfer window, Arsenal is among the club that made the most significant signings in the market. So they need to be examin what they players they bought have brought to the team before they will buy more, because this is business no matter whichever way you see it from.

I think the Arsenal officials are wary of Arteta choice of players and that's why the transfer window is very quiet for Arsenal, After signing Haverts (who has struggled), Trossard who can't bench Saka, and even wasteful spending on a goal keeper not better than RAMSDALE; its not looking bright on the transfer window for Arteta.

What do you think? Can Arteta get any signings this month transfer windows?

Rashford was quite shining in the previous season but this season he was relatively unable to maintain his best quality. Statistically, of course there has been a decline in his performance in making a major contribution to Manchester United. I think Erik must be able to revive the quality of his players in the second half of this season because if he fails to bring about changes in the second half of the season I am sure Erik will be fired at the end of this season.

Manchester United has many quality players this season but they seem to have found problems in their style of play. I think Erik has to implement a strategy that is easier for his players to implement to be able to win again in the next match. If you look at Hojlund, he really needs time to be well organized with Manchester United game, even though he is a quality striker but he can't find his best form this season.
Rashford's shining performance in the previous season and the statistical decline this season is something to do with the change of play style. He's good at transitional attacks which is not what the teamplay provides him anymore. Erik must be able to revive the quality of his players in the second half of the season that includes understanding individual player strengths and implementing strategies to get the best out of each player.

The pressure to deliver results, especially in a club like Manchester United, is significant, and managerial decisions are often evaluated based on team performance. A mismatch between the manager's tactical approach and the strengths of the players can lead to underwhelming performances. Adapting the strategy to better suit the players' capabilities is a sensible approach to address this issue. Hojlund needs the adjustment period, even if he is a he is a quality players. Erik Ten Hag needs to integrates new players into the team and helps them find their best form. Finding a system that plays to the strengths of the squad can lead to improved performances and better results.

It is difficult to find a reason as to why Rashford has completely lost his best form this season. Last season Rashford impressed with 17 goals in 35 matches, while this season he has only scored 4 goals and 2 assists in 20 appearances. This is hard to believe even though Ten Hag has repeatedly given him the opportunity to prove his worth this season.

I agree that it has been a bad season for Rashford and some of the other players. Antony hasn't recorded anything in 17 appearances, Rasmus Højlund has also not lived up to expectations. Alejandro Garnacho is better than Antony, also Bruno Fernandes has a decline in his performance. This is a different season for Manchester United compared to last season, so overall their performance has really suffered.
