I honestly expected Aston Villa to actually win against Everton. After all Aston Villa is really fighting to stay as much at the top as possible. Meanwhile, Everton is literally fighting to stay out of the relegation zone. So, I thought Aston Villa was going to win this match pretty easily. But of course, I was wrong. Though I have to say Aston Villa was able to dominate the match. However, they were not able to win. I also think that this might very well be the start of their inconsistency. Not unexpected for them to be really consistent. But I honestly did think that probably they will be able to bring in really good results. Which is still definitely possible. But not if they are inconsistent.

True and i was always aware if pochettino keeps repeating the same mistake even since his first match with chelsea. There were so numerous mistakes repeated by him in any games of chelsea. The biggest mistake is wrongly making the bad decision making in the player substitution.
That is also hurting the club a lot caused by wrongly put the players in will be costing the club full points. I was seeing how chelsea fans are so tired in reminding him to fix his decision making for the club.

Pochettino's in game management is absolutely criminal and i can give you the best example, ben chillwel played as left back but pochettino puts him as left winger then levy collwill who played as centre back then pochettino was also putting him as left back.
This is another disaster for chelsea to have a coach who doesn't ahve good decision making combined with good in game management.

Pochettino won in the last match but it was not erasing his bad reputation as a coach with the worst in game management. Im so tired watching chelsea played like shit. Pochettino lets himself down with his worst in game management.

It looks like luck because they only won by a narrow score and the goal was scored via a penalty kick after a Fulham player fouled one of Chelsea's players, but actually Chelsea continued to appear to put pressure on the away team but unfortunately, their chances were not able to penetrate Fulham's defense, even their opponents several times made quite good attacks and threatening their goal.
Chelsea was quite grateful because Cole Palmer managed to calmly execute the penalty kick because if he had failed, Chelsea would have gotten another bad result. In the final minutes, they managed to maintain their defense which continued to receive attacks from Fulham who were trying to get 1 point by doing so to equalize the score.
Chelsea's performance was ordinary even though this was their third win in a row and with a performance like that they would still probably lose to any team because their game development was not very good.

I just don't understand this guy either. In the recent 3 seasons of the Premier League he has been totally inconsistent:

2021/22 season => 4 goals in 25 matches
2022/23 season => 17 goals in 35 matches
2023/24 season => 3 goals in 19 matches

He is still valued at 70 million euros but he hasn't been able to increase his market value since December 2021. Sad

I remember PSG were after him in the past and I wonder if they still are interested. Grin

However, I saw the way Chelsea controlled the game from start to finish, making me think Chelsea experienced a change in the game, which Poch needed to improve on the front lines because he was less effective in getting opportunities. Im very happy to see that my prediction was coming true. Fulham was quite strong but glad penalty helped chelsea even though it was playing so badly in that match. Im thinking about chelsea to make another surprises but i never come till the end of game.
This is a very bad performance from chelsea. Im criticizing the performance from chelsea against fulham caused by it was really different. Chelsea obviously need a new striker as soon as possible. The club has been wasting to many opportunities.

It was a tough game with Chelsea because, there is no change in their game that made Fulham to followed them up till second half that gave Chelsea opportunity to secured the winning goal from the game to achieve the 3 points from the game.

Fulham would have draw the game assume they use their opportunity well in the first half because, there was Chances for their strikers to score goals but they missed use them that made their coach to make some changes in the second half, if they will be able to equalized the goal but it was too late for Fulham players to equalize.

@FinePoine0 Chelsea fought a lot for those 3 points and in the end what really matters is that they got it and with this win it’ll uplift their mood and even Poch will be relieved because he knows his job is now under scrutiny. Furthermore whenever I have felt that Chelsea can improve and change their game they have disappointed me this season hence I’m not going to raise my hopes on them unless they start to consistently perform.

I was expecting the game to end in draws but Fulham didn't play well like the way I expected. If Fulham team had performed well I don't think it will be easy for Chelsea to win the game . Chelsea still have hope to meet up top four position if they can start performing better in their games.

The Chelsea team must have performed better in comparison as they are far ahead of the Fulham team in any aspect. If you look at the points table, you can definitely see the Chelsea team ahead. And in terms of game performance and attack, you can see the highlights match, Chelsea team made a massive attack targeting the goal post of Fulham team. Chelsea had 17 shots on goal - and Fulham had 14 shots on goal. You want to say that despite this difference, the Chelsea team performed poorly.

Aston Villa in the last 1year have been the highest point takers in the EPL. They've been exceptional at their games, winning almost always and ensuring that they stay at the top chart. No one saw them coming and they've been able to be consistent, keeping home win records this season and they've not failed to cause troubles for teams. They really need to stay that way and maintain their consistency to keep their hopes of qualifying for the UCL alive.

They've got the capacity to remain on top but I really don't think City who's now below them would let them stay there, so if at all there'd be a change in the standings, then Villa won't go below the 6th position. They're so good to even try qualifying for the UEL next season. As competitive as the EPL has been this year, so far Villa have proven to be strong enough to fight back threats and create value and confidence in the team too.

Aston villa was a trouble for all of big clubs in EPL. This club was consistently to perform even better. Im only wondering what recipe owned by emery to push this club from nothing to something. It's hard for villa to go back at the bottom again but nothing is impossible in the football.
Chelsea is always climbing up and it's time for aston villa to play in the UCL next season. I can't really sure aston can enter into the title race but winning one spot to go to the UCL is far better than getting nothing. Aston villa can still prove it.

The club needs only to consistent in getting three points till the end of the season. We are still in the mid season and yeah you know that if emery will have easy jobs in the upcoming matches. The club has been destroying some big clubs and villa got much applauses from the fans.
I have heard that emery is trying to recruit the new player for villa. Being qualified for the UCL next season will far better rather than having big expectation to get EPL. Emery can get additional income from UCL next season.
