Arsenal and aston villa got the bad results this week. It gives city a chance to be even closer to those two teams. Despite the relentless bombardment from Arsenal, Westham has managed to maintain a high level of consistency in their performances. Westham is truly showing its level in this match. It was using the big wall to protect the goal keeper but it must be noted that if the goal keeper of westham has blocked so many chances by arsenal as well.

I agree that West Ham is in great shape as they don't lose patience. Seriously, in this game it was all about resisting and giving Arsenal a hard time to get closer to the box in a good position. Arsenal had so many chances, but hardly any of those chances were huge. That's what West Ham made sure to protect themselves from conceding quick and easy goals. Of course at the end of the day there was also some luck involved. Otherwise you can't win a game that is essentially a game with only one direction. But really if that penalty was scored, what a tough total would that have been? 0-3? Wow, but doesn't matter. West Ham is on a good run!

Arsenal's only memorable position was Bukayo Sako's return from the post, other than that it was ineffective. Arsenal was the side that played with the ball more, but they could not turn this situation into an advantage.
Why doesn't a rich club like Arsenal find a very quality striker? I have always wondered about this situation for years. If Jesus had been a very good striker, he would have done very well in Chelsea before, but that was not the case.
He contributed in the Champions League, but so far he is playing in the Premier League with 3 goals and 1 assist. I don't think this performance is enough to make Arsenal champions.

Currently the condition of Arsenal team is very sad because their performance is so bad that they lack strikers. Without suitable and experienced strikers in the team, the attacking department cannot attack properly. Arsenal's goals against West Ham United showed that Arsenal were better in attack but could never succeed due to a lack of strikers. I don't care the kind of form West Ham is in this is a match Arsenal should have won. They messed up by losing this match to West Ham. They were at home and they had the advantage. Is West in a better form than Arsenal?
This is just what Arsenal do, they always bottle their opportunities. They were supposed to win the league the year Leicester won it, they were supposed to win the league last season but they messed up and allowed Man City win it, now they've lost and giving either Liverpool or Manchester City a chance to win the league again.
Now Manchester City has an outstanding match, if they win that match they'll be second and top Arsenal with goals.

As I said before, West Ham is not as good and strong as Arsenal, but this team always plays better when facing a strong team so it is not surprising if they can beat Arsenal convincingly and for Arsenal this is quite detrimental even though they are only two points apart from Liverpool, but this defeat made them approached by Manchester City and Aston Villa is still sticking.
If we look at these statistics, it looks like a one-sided match because Arsenal controlled everything from possession of the ball, shots on target as well as corner kicks, somehow West Ham managed to get out of this pressure and even scored two goals and it seems Arsenal were caught off guard when trying to break the West Ham defense.

The only thing that surprised me in the game was the merging of the goals. Three goals is too much for Everton. I think they slacked too much. I think they didn’t dominate the match well, in which they will perform very well.

Manchester city has good backup but the performance from the back up players were not as good as their key players. This makes pep needs to rotate the current line up very often. it's caused by manchester city is trying so hard to make sure it can have proper line up withouot some important players like haaalnd. Everton was able scoring in the first half and it makes a lot of people were starting to doubt it Glad to see that city was able making comeback but i must be honest if the quality of squad between both of clubs are very different.
Taking into account what I have observed, I can confidently state that if Manchester City had showcased an exceptional performance in the second half, it would have been a sight to behold. The first half was a total flop for manchester city.

Pep has been advising his team to always attacking the weakness spot of everton. It seems like that city was changing its gameplay at the second half. Im seeing it now. Alvarez is also performing so well in that game.

City after having to battle through trial times during the Christmas looming era where they were not fully in good shape. One would think it was going to last for a long while but rather it was just more like a Christmas break tradition and what follows after is always a number of victories that are unending. The game against Everton proved it.

At the moment, they've got a greater chance at the EPL trophy but seriously it would only be appaling that again they'd have to lift that trophy consecutively. It'll only be an insult to EPL football. Hopefully, the other top teams would be able to fight through and retain their spots and lift the trophy too. I personally would want a break from City getting to lift the trophy again. We all know they're good but at least, let there be a different hand this time.

When I saw that they went behind I thought Manchester City were going to drop points again today. But they are a champion team with a winning mentality and scored back 3 goals. Alvarez continues his goal scoring streak and isn't letting the absence of Haaland be felt. They did an amazing job coming back.

Actually I don't really like to say luck in matches that have happened even though it does bring together a club that is not too favored against a favorite club because in my opinion luck is not too visible in football even if the game is not balanced because after all this is about strategy.

Manchester City tried more for the second half and that happened because there were some changes to the scheme that Pep made in this match such as instructions for his players to try to take speculative kicks when they could not penetrate the penalty box from Everton and I think it was useful because looking at the first goal scored it was very beautiful and the process of the second goal was also based on speculative kicks made outside the penalty box which created a chaos that ended in a penalty.

Wolves playing at home is always better and they did a good job yesterday on the pitch after beating Brentford 1-4 so when they meet Everton I think Wolves will have a higher chance than Everton even though previously Everton has won three times luckily but now they have to lose two more and closer to the relegation zone.

Because the match is still long, I think Everton still has a chance to get away from an uncomfortable place, so what I think they are still capable of remaining in the Premier League, but for now Everton is still having difficulties but believe me this team can stay in here.

I am not sure if they are actually that good each time though. I mean it's clear that they are good, but that doesn't mean that they are THAT good, it should be noted that they are just decent and that's about it.

I personally believe that the best thing to do right now would be something much larger and that will definitely end up with something that would gain a ton of danger about betting on Wolves, they are just a decent team at best if you ask me. Brighton could be a really tough challenge for Tottenham by the way. Because it is an away match for Tottenham before anything else. Both teams have many missing players though. Mitoma has been the key player for Brighton so far and he is also injured. This could have a really serious impact on Brighton's performance in offense. Sad

Maddison is still injured for Tottenham also but Richarlison and Son are doing well anyway. Tottenham need to be in their good form in the attacking side to win this match one way or another. They did it in their last two head-to-heads so they can do this once again.
