I hope that after this Tottenham can achieve another winning streak like at the start of the season.
Next game for Tottenham is against Everton who are fighting for premier league survival and fighting their way back to the top of the table where they were once close to this season. Bissouma will suffer a four match Ban and their coach will need to be able to go on without him because Tottenham have struggled in the games before this and their last. Tottenham are now fifth and still very close to the top of the table. Richarlison have scored goals in his last two games for Tottenham, maybe that is a signal that the striker is finally ready to deliver what is expected of him.

Since Ange Postecoglou took charge at Tottenham, they are having positive change massively. Their Tactical play and team's spirit are not like Tottenham before. This is the biggest factor of their resurrection this season. But this is indeed not enough for them to win the league. Their biggest issue is the quality of squad depth which has been proven poor previously that they collected just 1 win in 5 games after losing their key players due to suspensions and injuries.

I think Aston Villa is quite similar to Tottenham, but they just haven't had badluck of losing key players. It's true that a team's performance over the entire season is a more accurate reflection of their capabilities than a short-term streak. Aston Villa's cleaner record adds to their credibility, and consistency is indeed a key factor to stay competitive at the top. A team like Liverpool who are able to maintain positive results while not playing at their best is a kind of toughest team to compete with. Even in contested matches, demonstrates their resilience and experience at the top level. It's exciting to see whether Tottenham can regain momentum, if Aston Villa can maintain their form, and how Liverpool continues to navigate their journey.
That's a good review of the situation in Tottenham and Aston Villa. I fully agree that if both teams have their first and best eleven players available for the whole season, I think a lot could be possible for them. But especially in the second half of the season, the depth and quality of the squad becomes relevant. It's very hard to maintain a high performance for a whole season when the squad isn't as deep as that of Manchester City for example. Tottenham had instant problems and Aston Villa, hard to tell, but maybe they get lucky and will be spared from injuries. It would be quite interesting to see what this team could do in the Premier League if they stay in top condition and don't lose any players along the way.
It looks like it would be a strong boost for them if Aston Villa players are not injured and can perform well like they have done so far. Yes, Aston Villa can return the surprise that Leicester City did if they are supported by avoiding player injuries so that 11 players can take part in playing in every match this season. Maintaining performance in the best situation will be their obstacle because in the second half of the season big teams like Manchester City will definitely try to return to leading the standings.

We have seen Tottenham fall from first place to 5th place and they need time to recover and if this happens to Aston Villa of course they could suffer the same fate as Tottenham. But that's just speculation because so far they have been able to maintain their performance well because they have managed to get through several big matches such as against Manchester City and Arsenal.

I think City haven't been consistent enough this season. They will have difficulty defending the championship title. The biggest opportunities to win the title are Arsenal and Liverpool, who are currently playing quite well. Maybe even Aston Villa will surprise everyone with their extraordinary performance this season. I also think that coaches have a huge influence here. With the right coach, the team will find its best performance because it has found the optimal position and playing style for the character of each player.
Manchester City may have faced some challenges this season with the unavailability of Kevin de Bruyne, but they have a formidable squad with exceptional depth and talent. Their ability to rotate key players and maintain a high level of performance in various competitions showcases their resilience and adaptability. Historically, they have proven the capacity to overcome mid-season hurdles and finish strongly. Pep Guardiola who is known for his tactical acumen and ability to motivate players adds a strategic edge to City's campaign.

Arsenal and Liverpool are indeed performing well, but sustaining success throughout an entire season is a challenging task. Both teams have their strengths, but they have also experienced fluctuations in form and results that is not impossible to happen again. Aston Villa, while displaying promising performances, might face challenges in maintaining consistency over the course of a demanding season with the quality of squad depth being the issue. Arsenal, Liverpool, and Aston Villa may pose challenges, but City's pedigree and the guidance of Guardiola suggest that they remain strong contenders for defending their title.

Well I won't conclude yet that Manchester United or Chelsea are out of the top 4 race yet, cause there's still lots of games left to be played before the League comes to an end by May/June period therefore I expect both clubs to try every possible and take advantage of the upcoming January window and do the necessary signings to get the clubs into doing better again.

Chelsea could sign Jesus Christ in January and they still wouldn’t finish anywhere near the top 4. I don’t think I’ve seen a football club spend so recklessly, mismanaging funds in my lifetime.

They’ve spent close to £1,500,000,000 in 18 months and they’re just as bad, if not worse than before. They are 14 points behind Man City in 4th and we are not even half way through the season. Man Utd have a better chance but I still think they won’t finish in the top 4.

Emery was so amazing, he was starting the club with very limited budget. Im sure that if many of us are also unfamiliar with some names in the aston villa. Emery is always able transforing his club into the one of top club in the league.
I have heard that if emery has been targeting timo werner to be a new striker for aston villa. We should make it a point to acknowledge and applaud Emery, as he is deserving of recognition from the entire villa supporter base. It's amazing performance to sit at the third place of EPL.

Even manchester united and chelsea can do nothing to enter into the top 4. Now that Emery's team has emerged victorious against several renowned EPL clubs, they have shifted their focus to the kitchen, where they are cooking up a storm. I have noticed that Aston Villa is currently exhibiting a superior performance compared to United.

Ten hag is making manchester united gets setback. It's caused by the club was not performing so well.
Doing so impressively currently with the limited budget he was given, means that if he was fully backed financially by the board, they could do better than they're doing currently and even be one of the top contenders for the league, I believe the boards would be really impressed with how far Unai Emery have got the club and therefore they should try as much as possible to invest for funds for the Jan transfer window so Emery would strengthen the club to continue doing better.

The last time Aston Villa won the League is in 1981, and the next season, they won Champions Cup (Now UCL).
If Aston Villa win the league this season, Emery doesnt only make history for Aston Villa, but also makes history for himself, as he is known as a sackable manager in his second season at any club he has ever managed, more or less. Cheesy This is why I have a big doubt that Aston Villa will even finish in top four. Emery is a good tactician, but Aston Villa dont have a good quality of their squad depth that makes them hard to compete against Manchester city, Liverpool and Arsenal.

Aston Villa is a big club who have won the league seven times, but the fact that they havent any trophy in the near past and got relegated at one point makes people forget about their stature. If Aston Villa win the league this season, it is indeed a big history for them, but it's more because they havent won it since a long time. The narrative would shift from recent struggles to a glorious resurgence that showcases the club's resilience and ability to reclaim its former glory.

I must have seen it wrong then apologies. But even though it was in 1981 still there has been a quite long time since then. Aston Villa isn't a team that is as rich as top teams in the Premier League and Newcastle. Because of that they haven't been able to build a squad which is as strong as top teams in the league to get in the title race in the league. It is always much more difficult for such teams to fight with rich teams at the same level. But sometimes their time comes to shine just like Leicester had that time.  Smiley

It looks Emery has been the coach they needed to play bigger in this league. Despite having 8th most expensive squad in the league Aston Villa continue to do amazing stuff to be in this title race.

The Aston Villa Club Board deserves appreciation for their decision to recruit Emery. There are many big names out there but not all coaches will be suited to every team's game. This means that if you are a great coach but you have a playing style that is different from the character of your players then it will not be optimal. So I think Emery has the same game tactics as Aston Villa's characteristics so the team can perform very well.
The players are spectacular, in addition they don't take lesser scores as results. The characteristics of the club this season is weigh beyond the usual levels, everyone understands the club's key projects and how they're thrashing oppositions in matches, I would say the presence of the new coach is the main reason behind them uplifting to good standards. Unai Emery deserves his flowers this season, he tried to nailed up the club's performance to heightened levels. They're 3rd position and they puts them exactly in the require position to face any opposition this season.

In my opinion, Aston Villa has nothing in common with Tottenham because at the start of the season Aston Villa did not experience big improvements like Tottenham, but Aston Villa did it slowly until in the middle of the season Aston Villa still achieved good results, and has not experienced a decline but it is not yet certain whether Aston Villa will be able to survive until the end of the season because so far Aston Villa is still on the winning path with high confidence after beating Arsenal and Manchester City.

To be honest I never thought Aston Villa would win the League championship this season. But if you look at their current performance, I don't think it's impossible, even though I actually think it's still very, very difficult. But I am very confident that Aston Villa will be able to play in the Champions League next season. Very excited for what will happen after boxing day this year.

Yes, it is true that since Ange Postecoglou coached the Tottenham club, they immediately achieved amazing results at the start of the season, but when they entered the middle of the season, Tottenham started to experience a slow decline. I initially thought that Tottenham could win the title this season because of their consistency at the start of the season, which was undefeated and they Also not playing in other competitions such as the Champions League and Europa League, they have enough time and energy to maintain their performance, but unfortunately Tottenham's consistency did not last long after they faced Chelsea, they began to have difficulty balancing their performance and continued to experience consecutive defeats in the Premier League. Yes, their current problem lies in the depth of the squad. When they lose players, they start to find it difficult to maintain a stable performance. For example when they faced Chelsea in Week 11, when they were forced to play with 9 players, they immediately found it difficult to carry out their rhythm of play, so they lost, even though at that time it was Chelsea. was not in good condition but Chelsea was able to take advantage of this opportunity, who would have thought that after that match Tottenham continued to experience bad results even though they were playing at home and just won against Newcastle, I hope that after this Tottenham can achieve another winning streak like at the start of the season.

This season is different from the previous season because this season Aston Villa made a lot of progress in their squad and even managed to beat Manchester City. It looks like Emery is here to make history for Aston Villa.  Grin  The last time Aston Villa achieved something in the Premier League or other cups in England was like more than a hundred years ago.

The point they are in now is very specialy for Aston Villa and the fans must be very excited about the potential of their team as well. I think that the Premier League is the toughest European league now. The competition is just very hard. It isn't going to be easy for Aston Villa to survive this season in even top 4 until the end of the season. But if Emery does this and even who knows wins the title he would surely be one of the legends for Aston Villa.

Emery is a really special manager. He has been very successful wherever he goes in the recent years.  Smiley
aston villa won the last English league in 1980/1981, not hundreds of years ago.
And the following year 1981/1982 aston villa won the champions league.
So the history of aston villa, a team with a pretty decent achievement.
Although this has been long but the name of Aston villa can never be erase in the history of English league and champions league cup winners.

Although the current owner is not a conglomerate of the caliber of the owner of manchester city, but with the arrival of emery was able to build a good team even though the transfer budget was not large like other top primiere league clubs.

Aston villa really made me lose out my game today. Although they have qualify already but I don't see them losing or playing draw with that team.

I remember this kind of a season from somewhere.  Huh  There was a season in the past in which Manchester City were even much worse than this situation in the Premier League. However they still captured the league title at the end by coming from really far behind.  Grin  Would this be another season in which they do the same?

I say why not? Because at the end of the day they still have the best squad in the league and the best manager who is Guardiola at the same time.

They are already doing great in the Champions League statistically and I believe that they will make things better soon here also.
Well you're right, about last season, Arsenal where dominating the league from the beginning of the season to midpoint and even became everyone's favorite to win the league at some point, but they bottle the league and gave Manchester City and opportunity to lift the trophy again, therefore i won't be suprised if same thing reoccur this season, cause if you look at the standings you'll see that City are not left out in the title race,  there's still hope for them to win it, since the gap between them and the current  league leaders is not very wide.

City might find it very tough defending the Champions League title but winning the EPL is not going to be very tough for them and i concour with your statement that they got the best players and manager currently, making them very strong potential winners of the EPL and sonner or later, maybe after the January window, we'll see them dominating the EPL table.
Let's see whether Arsenal, Aston Villa and Liverpool can take advantage of Manchester City unstable situation to win the title this season or whether Manchester City will rise and take the top of the standings in the upcoming matches. Of course, Manchester City has a squad that is quite high quality in terms of their players and also has a coach whose quality is beyond doubt in bringing the team to win trophies. The big question is whether Arsenal can learn from last season failure or they still don't have the mentality to become champions this season.

This season is different from the previous season because this season Aston Villa made a lot of progress in their squad and even managed to beat Manchester City. I think we will see a new team that will try to thwart Arsenal mission to win the title. Ange change the performance Tottenham to the extent they wanted to make Kane to think he made a bad choice of going to Bayern Munich but their main magic lies in their defensibe midfield. The second their defenders like Van de Ven and Madders their defensive midfielder got an injury, everything turn translucent to Tottenham, that was when they made their first lost against Chelsea and subsequently fall down from the top 4 and now are struggling to go back but if they keep the current performance, they will get their in time but the way others are fighting will only make the chance more difficult to climb.

Aston villa have become concrete so hard to break, they didn't allow Manchester City to pass through to meet up with Arsenal and when Arsenal had match with to remain top with them on the table, they didn't let them have it too which have Liverpool and opportunity to become the king king of the Premier league for now and that has also earned them some points to stay close to Arsenal and Liverpool, if they win their next game and others didn't, they will top the table before Manchester City.
