The decline in Haaland's performance is due to several causes and it is impossible for a quality player to have decline in performance without there being cause and I don't know what the cause is for sure, seeing Haaland and De Bruyne are already in harmony, I am very happy even though I don't know when he will appear with Manchester City, which is certain if These two players will appear again soon, of course MC will soon recover from his slump and immediately win the first position in the points table.
For Guardiola, this is not a difficulty but like a challenge that must be completed in the near future to catch up on points behind Arsenal.
There must be reasons for a quality player declining in performance. The dynamics of football are complex, injuries and tactical adjustments can influence a player's form. The anticipation of Erling Haaland's return and the potential partnership with Kevin De Bruyne is a source of optimism for Manchester City fans. The chemistry between them both can indeed be a catalyst for success, and their understanding on the field could significantly elevate the rhythm and the attacking prowess.

Seeing this as a challenge or a difficulty is a positive mindset. Guardiola is well-known for his tactical thought to thrive in finding solutions to overcome them. The belief that Guardiola sees this as a challenge that can be overcome is a testament to his strategic approach and determination. It's unclear when Haaland will return, but the prospect of him joining forces with De Bruyne in the near future is exciting to wait for. If these two players can establish a strong partnership, it could indeed propel Manchester City back into contention for the top spot.

It is true that the roles of Kevin De Bruyne and Haaland are very important in the squad, but Pep Guardiola knows what he has to do to overhaul his squad in this match and he has to really get used to staying focused on other players if Kevin De Bruyne and Haaland are absent because injured, so Pep Guardiola already knows which reserve players will be used. In the world of football, if you only rely on 1 or 2 players, it will not be possible to be successful in the future and of course it still requires teamwork to continue to develop well. That way, if one day one of the main players is absent, of course the other players can still make a good contribution to the squad to achieve victory.
I am also sure that Manchester City will definitely be more focused on facing their opponents in the remaining matches to achieve victory in the next match, so that they can continue to compete with Arsenal and Liverpool to win first place at the top of the standings or become champions of the English League this season.
The partnership of Kevin De Bruyne and Haaland last season was very impressive, went Haaland arrived Manchester  City it was as if he's found his missing piece, playing together as teammates,  but this season I noticed that Haaland performance dropped despite the fact that he's still found the back of the net multiple times, but if KDB was not injured I think Haaland goal would had been more or double the amount of goals he's score currently.

I think things are gradually becoming tough for Pep this season and needs to do everything possible to make sure they don't drop due to the absent of their key players, when De Bruyne got injured it really affected them a little but now their striker is injured, it might become difficult for them to score goals, well I trust Pep Guardiola to develop  a good strategy that would sustain them from losing without Haaland, now one of the attackers have to play as a false 9, Alvarez or silva.

Kevin De Bruyne and Haaland were two important figures in the Manchester City squad last season, so when one of them suffered an injury and was absent from defending the team, it certainly disrupted the team's performance, especially if both of them were not there.
However, if we talk about the possibility of winning the Premier League, I think Man City is still very much in the cards and with quite a lot of games remaining in this season, anything is still possible, especially as Manchester City is currently only 5 points behind Arsenal who are at the top of the standings Premier League.
You forgot to mention Rodri in the list. With the absence of De Bruyne, Rodri’s presence has been very important to the squad because whenever he got injured, the team always feel it, likewise whenever Haalandbis in the field, they have that confidence of winning even though if they are without ball he is an irrelevant player, but if they created any chance he will show his quality as a good striker that is why they missed him due to injury.

I think the reign of Manchester city seems to be over in both the champion League and the Premier League respectfully since Manchester City have been a twice title holder in both leagues so for now it become a pay back time for them and for such Manchester city have to leave the title for other clubs who are already making good use of the current state of things in the premier leagues to accumulate alot of points that will help them to remain at top competitive position before the final stage of the competition.
It's very true what you say. Indeed, there is nothing wrong with thinking that City still has a big chance, but it seems like the poor results obtained due to Haaland's absence in the last few matches shows that they have problems in attack. There is no finisher as good as Haaland in their team. That will be a problem, especially if a club relies heavily on the performance of a striker. Initially, without the presence of Kevin De Bruyne, City's performance did decline a little but they were still quite competitive. Currently, after several matches they don't have Haaland, I can say that The Citizens' performance is really bad at the moment.

I thought Alvarez's performance would be good, but Haaland's absence is very obvious. Unfortunately, the absence of one player is tiring for City. If Haaland suffers an injury for 5-6 months, City can only finish the season in the mid-table. KDB was the brains of the team and City was already badly affected by his injury. Moreover, when Haaland's absence is added to this, Manchester City continues to deteriorate.
Even if those guys were not injured and the performance from manchester city was still bad. The absence of those players will make the performance of manchester city become even worst. I have no faith on manchester city this season.
It seems like that the club was not making some improvements. It was only relying upon some players. As you can see that how manchester city was playing so badly. We can imagine that if manchester city will be missing some players like KDB, haaland and alvarez at the same time.
It's going to be a serious problem caused by manchester city has main mission to defend some of its trophies achieved last season. Pep needs to find a solution for this problem.
I can't really sure about what kind of plan will be prepared by pep but it seems like that needs time to go so well. Even missing KDB has been giving huge impact to the city. The worst thing is going to happen if city will be missing a lot of players.

Manchester City might have been dominating the EPL since the arrival of Pep Guardiola, however im not quite sure if they'll still win the league again this season, if you notice their performance in the league currently you'll see they've declined and are now finding it tough winning against some mediocre teams in the league,  therefore it made them drop points that’s why they're in the position they're currently, well i get your point and there's a possibility of history repeating itself but im not going to conclude yet till they get to the 30th week.

Since Kelvin Debruyne absence alot has happened and it felt like some part of the team became exposed, giving other teams a chance to predict Guardiola's strategy, but with his arrival by January, we'll begin to see a very tough and brilliant City that scores alot of goals, it's going to be a big boost for them cause Haaland and Debruyne understands eachother very well.
Manchester City has faced challenges and dropped points against teams they might have been expected to beat, But that's is popular in Premier League where a favorite team being beaten by mediocre team, and that can't be a reason to judge a team having a declining form. It's not uncommon for top teams to face difficulties and drop points in the course of a long season. I think it's just a temporary setback that is experienced by any team rather than a sign of a long-term decline.

The absence of Kevin De Bruyne undoubtedly has a significant impact on the team's performance. His return in January could indeed bring about a positive change. De Bruyne is a world-class midfielder with the ability to influence the game both defensively and offensively. His understanding with new signings, like Erling Haaland, could provide the team with the spark it needs to regain dominance. Pep Guardiola is a manager with a track record of success who has the tactical acumen to adapt to challenges and find solutions. The team's performance in the later stages of the season, especially after De Bruyne's return, might demonstrate their ability to overcome early-season struggles.

Manchester City is indeed still the top favorite to win the Premier League despite their current form aligns with the general perception of the team's capabilities. I believe Manchester City remains strongest team in the tittle race even without Kevin de Bruyne. Arsenal is another favorite who need to have ability to learn from past experiences and perform better, because that's the the right mentality to be a champion.

Manchester City was originally favored by champions. But without the presence of KDB and Haaland I saw them losing their best performance. That can be seen from bad results in the last few matches. I think City should start thinking of finding De Bruyne's replacement because he has begun to retire. And I think that as long as De Bruyne and Haaland don't play City will continue to get bad results.

I won't blame Manchester City current underperformance on the departure of some key players from the club but on poor management of their previous success and allowing themselves to get pushed below baseline from the very first stage of the current season which killed their motivations to keep pushing for the top,  I was surprised when Manchester city played a draw game in their last match which was expected to be a walkover for the according to the fans expectations.

Arsenal created a 5-point gap with Man City after winning against Brighton. Arsenal is the only team that can compete for the championship with Man City this season after Liverpool was held to a draw by MU at Anfield. Man City still has the ability to win the Premier League despite their recent erratic performance. I never believed in Liverpool.
Currently Arsenal, Liverpool and Aston Villa are clubs that have a difference of only 1 point, and Man City has a difference of 4 points from Liverpool and Aston Villa. This means that it is not just Arsenal and City who have the potential to win the title. Even though United were held to a draw, Liverpool are in second place with 38 points. This means that the standings can still change in the next few weeks. For City, they really have to work hard to cover their weaknesses because without Kevin De Bruyne and Haaland City look very difficult to win the match.
I feel that Arsenal, Liverpool and Aston Villa are just clubs that are lucky to take advantage of the bad situation that Manchester City is experiencing, but after the return of Haaland and De Bruyne, the 3 clubs above MC will be shifted again and first place will be taken over again.
I don't know if this is just my own opinion or if other people also feel the same way, but the fact is that the 3 clubs above MC are currently at the top of the points table after Haaland suffered an injury so it is natural that performance will decline and Arsenal, Liverpool and Aston Villa are taking advantage of the opportunity. This.
From several of the club's matches, I have the same opinion as @legendbtc, I won't believe that Liverpool looks very ambitious, but the fact is that it makes fans and bettors very sad when playing at home against MU, they can't beat them and what's even more ridiculous is that the opportunity came several times, but no 1 score occurs.

So it seems more reasonable if we speculate about who will hold the premier league title this season between MC or Arssnal and Aston Villa and Liverpool will only be temporary challengers and in my view in the end MC will get the premier league title again.

I think only aston villa is lucky because the transfer budget is not big, there are no super star players. different from arsenal and liverpool rich clubs with a history in the english league that is classy, a large transfer budget to buy players. and many star players with high prices and large player salary contracts too.

For me, Man City is still the favorite to win the EPL title, because Man City is only 5 points behind Arsenal who are in first place and the EPL league is still very long, not even half a season yet. You need to look at last season, before the middle of the season, Man City was also behind by a fairly large difference in points with Arsenal, but entering the 30th EPL League match, Man City was slowly able to catch up with Asenal in points to reach the top of the standings. At the end of the season, Man City became champions. Here are the facts

Regarding KDB and Hallaand, I read news that it is possible that in mid-January they will be included in the squad again. But what I want to say is don't think that Man City is unable to catch Arsenal because they are now in fourth position. Learn from history, they have a strong mentality, especially as coach Pep Guardiola can return to first place at any time.

Last season scenario could be repeated, overtaking Arsenal at the end of the season then winning the trophy. But it's worth noting that, things have now changed, expecting that to happen would be a mistake for Pep. Because we know that Arsenal and Liverpool have developed, not to mention Aston Villa who are increasingly consistent, it is unlikely that City can retain the title if the top three clubs continue to be stable, especially if they lose points again in the second half of the season when facing them.

Arteta has certainly learned from his mistakes last season, we can see this from his moves to add depth to the squad this season. If he gets sick again at the end of the season, it means that Arsenal illness is very fatal, difficult to treat even if they recruit more expensive players. Talking about turning points in performance, Pep is more astute than any coach in the EPL except Unai Emery this season, City can recover quickly if De Bruyne, Stones and Halaand are available again in one lineup.

On the other hand, City achievements last season could be one of the factors in their declining performance this season, apart from injuries to their core players. It feels like Pep needs to motivate his players more to be hungry for a winning record, and avoid feeling complacent and being lulled by past success. We will all be waiting to see how the transfer window will be used by the teams competing to challenge for the title. Pep seems to need to join in the hunt for players there.

City definitely looks much weaker, but that was expected because their team was getting a little too old, and they needed to change some positions, and even though they did quite alright with some of the players, the injury definitely prevented a lot of them. Look at their UCL winning eleven, and look at last weeks team, there are so many differences. No ilkay, no akanji, no kevin de bruyne, no haaland, no stones.

All these changes do make a team worse and that's why they are not playing to win anymore, they are not as scary with this roster as they have been back last year, which is why we are seeing them not get three points easily against every team, we are seeing them have so many changes and so many differences.

Arsenal has been patient with the coach and Arteta is doing incredible work, I think the team needs one clear goalscorer, apart from that it is going very smoothly. They have a big chance. It is very enjoyable to watch, it didn't happen last year, but hopefully this year the end of the road will be the championship for them. They showed an impressive performance in their last match. Those who didn't watch the second half of the match missed a lot, it was a really enjoyable match, Arsenal played very effective and great. Personally, I don't enjoy Liverpool's game, Arsenal have a higher chance this year.
Patience with a coach can indeed yield positive results, and it seems like Arsenal's progress is becoming evident under Arteta's leadership. Having a prolific striker can indeed make a significant difference in a team's performance, especially in crucial moments. Identifying areas for improvement while appreciating the team's overall smooth functioning reflects a balanced perspective.

Arsenal really have the potential to contend for the title this, not only because they are enjoyable to watch, but also they have become stronger this season. No doubt that Arsenal is more enjoyable to watch with effective playing style, particularly in the last match, adds to the positive narrative surrounding the team. In the world of football, where outcomes are unpredictable, your enthusiasm and hope for Arsenal's success this year are a testament to the joy and passion that fans derive from the sport. Wishing you an exciting and rewarding season as an Arsenal fan.

Well I just want to let you know that luck doesn't take a team to the top 3, yes a team might be lucky in some matches but I'll rather say it is their hardwork that made it possible for them to be ahead of City currently, we all know the journey for the top four is very tough and challenging and a team has to be at it best and maintain consistency to be at the top four, and to maintain consistency you need hardwork on the pitch coupled with good strategy, maybe City depended on Debruyne too much and it's affecting them now he's not in the squad currently.

Pep Guardiola is a very good coach and he's supposed to had prepared for situations like this, I don't think their major problem is Debruyne cause there are matches they've won very comfortably without him, if you check the matches that made them drop points you'll see it's matches they were supposed to win comfortably based on their current squad, maybe Pep Guardiola made the wrong decisions in those matches and paid for it.

I agree with the opinion of several members here who say that City still doesn't have enough squad depth. I used to think they had good squad depth. But now we can see that without the presence of Kevin de Bruyne they are having a very difficult time winning. Coupled with Haaland's injury, they have achieved poor results in the last 5 matches. Does City need to spend money in the transfer market this time?
Yes, I think City need to go into market this January to strengthen their squad because compared to last season, they don’t have quality players that can battle for the league. They actually have players that replaced the players they sold out but these new players are yet to perform well to the standard of the previous ones and together with injuries that’s why they are struggling to win matches this season.

This season Arsenal has the biggest chance to win. They have appeared quite consistent this season. Aston Villa also surprised me because they are currently in third place. Another team that has great potential to win is Liverpool.
Liverpool are also in their best chance to do a comeback to their title winning after having a poor season last year. Aston Villa is also a team no to underrate because Uni Emrey is cooking something and will probably surprise us all.

Arsenal and Liverpool this season have more squad depth than Manchester City because even if they have one or two players injured, they do perform and avoid losing match. Nevertheless, Manchester City is still the top favorite to win the premier league but Arsenal are my favorites because I think they can’t do the same mistake as they did last season.
Honestly i don't see man city winning the league this season, with the way they balled last season i wasn't expecting them to flop to the point of lossing position to arsenal, Liverpool, aston villa. Although Liverpool has good players and a brave head coach which they deserve the position they are right now. I think man city should spend some money in this coming transfer window to get some key players and midfielder's at least a better replacements to haaland, Kelvin, folden,Bernaldo. Just incase they are absent.

Arsenal are really trying this season but for them winning the league? Nah i'm not sure of that. This was also how they started last season until they lost the title race to man city. Liverpool might likely win the league as for my prediction.
