He couldn't just come up and say that it's all Peps fault, plus players are the ones who go out and play every game, so it can't be all Peps fault neither, while I do agree that he has a big problem and Pep is part of the problem as well, I can't just say that he is the only one, players are guilty too, and heavily, because they are the ones who are playing and losing.

Haaland could be right about the fact that he is not scoring like he used to, and while I also agree that he is not the only one to blame, we can't say he is blameless neither, he is a smaller part of the problem as well. Look at the past 12 games where they won just one game, and look at how many goals he scored, he could have scored a lot more and when you are a striker that good, you think of all the chances you missed and that makes you consider, what would have happened if you just scored some of these chances. In any case, City has to recover somehow, I do not know how they will do it, but it won't be easy.

The Manchester United we all know are worn out following the fatigued hitting the players. Manchester United are ranked below 10th spot on the EPL table and that's no good news for such elite team. It's Christmas and everyone gets to watch the good or worst spot of their perspective clubs. I wouldn't blame Ruben Amorim for the current form of Manchester United this season because there's probably alot going through the club. Manchester United winning today's game and losing tomorrow, inconsistent performance and stats and that's actually a huge challenge for the club. Amorim needs to make new signings in the January transfer market because that's the only way he would make improvements during his era as manager for the club.

Do you think bringing in several players will guarantee an improvement in the team's performance?
I'm actually not sure about that because new players need time to adapt. The 3-back formation is certainly good in some matches, but it is not always good if the other team can exploit the gaps.

The point gap between Bournemouth and Manchester United is 6 points, while the positions of the two are very different where Bournemouth is in 5th position and Manchester United is in 13th position. Of course I agree if Amorim brings in some good players to support the strategy he has developed, but the players This is not a guarantee that the team can recover completely.

Manchester United needs an open heart surgery to send some bad players out of the team. Ruben Amorim is playing a beautiful tactics with good three men backline formation same he was using to win games in sporting cp even winning against Manchester city in the champions league. The only correction I to be made by Amorim is sending off most of those players in the January transfer window and bringing in quality players that could play his kind of tactics and understood his formation that's only time when Amorim can start getting things right with Manchester United.

Manchester United's defense is difficult to guess because they sometimes on several occasions look very good like when they faced Manchecster City where Maguire, De Ligt and Lisandro played well but on several occasions like yesterday's match they really played very badly.

That's definitely a shocker, and that's why I think Liverpool has a bigger chance of winning the league as well. We have seen them win against Tottenham as well, so the gap is now four points right? Plus they have one game in hand too if ı remember right, so if they win that game the gap would be seven points, way too large of a gap to close, at least for Chelsea and that's why it matters so much. In the end, the league is still not over and we have way too many teams and games left so we need to just wait and see, but I do not see Chelsea catching up a lot.

In fact, the only thing Chelsea should care about is getting to second place, because it's clear that we are seeing them not do that great so far, it feels like we are going to end up with a lot more trouble on the long run. I am pretty sure that we are going to end up with more and more troubles with time, so the best case for Chelsea is to try and stick at second place, it's much more important than trying to win it all.

Liverpool is determined to win the league for they have already seen how competitive the English premier league is now because Chelsea and Arsenal are really not giving up on them since Manchester City has lost football confidence.
Regards the Liverpool and Tothenham game yesterday it was really a bad day for Tothenham as they were beaten 6-3 at home that really shows that Liverpool never wants to gamble with the league if they should maintain this form they will definitely win the season English premier league tittle.

Chelsea's comeback was overdue and Manchester United is paying a high price for sticking to a disastrous coach for too long. But that doesn't mean I think Amorim was the best choice, neither for Manchester United nor for himself. I think he did it mostly for the money and to have is foot in the door for future jobs in the Premier League, but giving up a Sporting squad that played so perfectly was a risk. Yes it is only the league in Portugal, but he is young enough and would have had a great career. Now it is Manchester United with 22 points after 17 games, congratulations...

To me Liverpool is by far above everyone else and you can see it in the scorer list. Mo Salah alone has 26 scorer points! Cole Palmer is 2nd with 17 points, which I think is a great score and was so much needed for Chelsea. They needed a bit more genius within their team. Like what Hazard once was for them and they didn't have that for too many seasons. But Liverpool still have more balance not only between the offense and the defense, but within their offensive players. Mo Salah is as good of a scorer as he is of giving assists and the other players benefit from it a lot.

But what would Liverpool's condition be if for some reason Mo Salah gets injured? That's 37 goals and Mo Salah was involved 26 times. It would make a huge difference if he were out of business for a while.

The performance of Liverpool against Tottenham is a typical example of a team that wants to win the league, they were total supervisor against Tottenham dominating them from away nd making sure that they left no stone unturned as they scored goals to beautify the excellent performance they had against the Tottenham team.

From the current form of Liverpool it was obvious that they were going to defeat Tottenham but then the numbers of goals was something that was unpredictable because Tottenham is not a small club but seeing how M. Salah destabilize the defense of Tottenham made Liverpool to have easy access to penetrate and score plenty goals.

Liverpool showed Tottenham that they're better than them, they scored first and also went on to outscored Tottenham at home. Liverpool dominated the game regardless of not being home. Tottenham were outplayed on the wings and Mo Salah was very active in this game giving Liverpool more confidence in attacking Tottenham. Liverpool shots were 24 and this shows how well Liverpool played that Tottenham couldn't keep up. Liverpool were favourites to win this game but the scores isn't what we had expected to happen. Initially I thought the game will be a very close score and maybe Liverpool will get the last goal in the extra time to win the game.

Even till now at the not yet understood what happened between Manchester United and Bournemouth match. When the match started it was not like Manchester united players were playing very bad. The match was balanced and both teams were pressing each other. Then I had some appointment, I stepped out only to check the LiveScore later in the day and saw 3:0 against Manchester United. I was so astonished how it happened. But I think that Manchester united players and management will understand their new coach you guys he is just like rebuilding the team. His only major task is to qualify Manchester United to the Champions League either to EPL table or through the Europa League

United had quite a few chances. The problem was their finishing was not accurate enough. Amorim tried to replace Zirkzee and bring in Højlund, but their deadlock situation could not be overcome. Moreover, there were gaps in United's defense that were quite easy for Bournemouth players to exploit.
I think Amorim needs to correct many things in that match. I thought United would not accept a defeat like that, but what we saw was the opposite.

Tottenham is a very strong team. However, Tottenham's players' performance is inconsistent. This is why Tottenham is lagging behind in the points table. Tottenham is in 11th place in the points table. However, the interesting thing is that Tottenham is the highest scorer in the Premier League. Tottenham's players have scored 39 goals in 17 matches. Tottenham's attack is very strong. But Tottenham is lagging behind in the points table because of its weak defense.

Tottenham won 4-0 against Manchester City. So I thought Tottenham's attack would play well in the match against Liverpool. Tottenham's attack played well enough. Tottenham managed to score 3 goals against Liverpool's strong defense. However, as usual, Tottenham lost by a large margin due to the poor performance of the defenders. Tottenham conceded 6 goals in this match. I would say Tottenham can only play consistently well if the Tottenham coach can strengthen their defence.

We expected that Bournemouth football team will win this match but I didn't expected , that match will be one sided. Bournemouth football team has good performance and that team got good position on the table because that team has 28 points on the table and that team has 5th position on the table. Manchester United football team has 13 position on the table which impacted on the performance of that team .  And that team could not do single goal in last match and Bournemouth football team won the match easily. Three players did goal in this match and no one did 2 goals in this match. The possession percentage of Man United was wonderful and there passes were also more and pass accuracy was also excellent but that team could not do 1 goal in this match.

Seems that Saka has suffered a hamstring injury that will keep him out of action for a few weeks, maybe longer. If he’s out for a significant amount of time it will really harm Arsenal’s hopes of challenging for the title. I don’t wish injury on any player so I hope he is not out for too long.

Next up for Slot’s all conquering Liverpool is Leicester at Anfield. I have tickets, will be my first game for a couple of months. Looking forward to it, expecting a comfortable win.

Such an open criticism would mean the club splitting in two halves and losing its relevance... I mean in 5 matches, city have been able to secure only 1 win, 1 draw and 3 loses... How pathetic that is. I see alot more reasons why Pep feels disappointed but again, the league is almost over and there's nothing he can do... maybe this time, not for city; not even ending the league in the first 3 positions ontop the table!

I stumbled on some strange news today and I decided to share... Is this some type of rumor or something? Cus I haven't seen any legit information that says pep is resigning soon..

It was an entertaining match to watch between Tottenham and Liverpool as it is very rare to see 9 goals in a match. Tottenham Hotspur hasn't been in best of form recently as they have lost 3 matches out of the last 5 matches they played. As opposed to this, Liverpool have won the last 3 matches out of 5 matches they played and two were drawn. They are having a very good time and are on the top of the Premier League.

Another comparison to note was that Liverpool had 12 shots on target while Tottenham have only 5, however the possession of the ball was almost equal for both teams. Further stats mentioned below.

It can be said that it was a surprise for Manchester United fans because they thought they would not lose or draw but the defeat to Bournemouth last night was so painful many mistakes in defense and this made Manchester lose.
That's right, Amorin's job now is to improve the whole squad and which strategy is suitable for Manchester United's game because if there is no change it could be further or closer to relegation.
Haven't seen any news about Amorin wanting any players in the January transfer window.

I would say that Liverpool had no choice but to beat Tottenham in their yesterday's encounter, I could sense thy pressure from fans was becoming very heavy on them after they drew two matches, Chelsea was closing in on them but I guess this all changed yesterday after Chelsea also had a draw against Everton.

If Chelsea had won their match against Everton yesterday, the point gap would have still be a big pressure on Liverpool because they risk losing their position if nothing was done and fast, but I am happy for them for their win yesterday, I guess the players and the coach will enjoy a bit of relieve now, if they can maintain this point gap with Chelsea, they stand a high chance of winning the epl title this season..
