Trust the process, imbibe consistency
I expect Liverpool to comfortably win Leicester City in the fixture. Leicester City are no match for Liverpool in terms of squad depth. I will bet on Liverpool to win both halves and an over 3.5 goals in the match.
Leicester City was a good team, at least, middle-top clubs in the EPL. But in several seasons, their performance has been declining, even being knocked out of the EPL. This season they have only returned to the EPL. And it turns out, they have not been able to compete optimally, at least, currently Leicester City is only in 17th position. Liverpool should not be made difficult in this match, they should, and they must win,
Liverpool winning the match is never in doubt because it does not require much thinking to know that it is a walk over match for the Reds. If it were the time Leicester was in their best form, then we could argue that they will be able to challenge Liverpool but this season, they are like vegetable that can be beaten by any serious team. There is no way Leicester will visit Anfield and get a point looking at their recent stats that shows that they have one won one match and drew one then losing all in the other matches in their last six legs. That is not a record one would doubt losing to the current leader of the league.

I also want to see Pep Guardiola's strategy in tomorrow's match because in the previous two matches Pep was so frustrated with the performance of his players. He looked silent after being defeated by Aston Villa so that tomorrow's match he will pressure his players to appear more careful.
The losing streak certainly brings deep frustration to the coach and also the players. But in this case, however, as a manager, Pep Guardiola must remain calm. And this is what he said ahead of the match on Boxing Day tomorrow. But the question is, can they restore the condition to become a continuous winner?

We know how terrible Man City have been for over a month now, trying to get a comfortable win is a bigger problem, to even dominate a game till the end like they used to is not in their playbook anymore. Pep Guardiola have tried all he could to make the team come back to that greatness but no way, nothing positive is happening instead they're still losing more game that would have moved them back into the top 4. Before the year runs out the Citizens have two games at hand before heading into 2025, they are still going to struggle judging from their previous performance, they will be hosting Everton who haven't conceded a goal in their last 3 games, after that they  have Leicester, how many points are they going to get to rap up 2024?
It’s hard for me to eliminate Manchester City as title contenders this season when with their disappointing performances in the last 13 games I think feel like they can still pull off a big surprise and win the league again. I can’t imagine this Manchester City side going a season without a trophy, it’s been years since we last saw Manchester City struggle in the Premier League or any other competition for that matter. I’m sure that there are many more people like me who believe that Manchester City still have a chance at the EPL this season.

I also believe that City are still in the race even if they have been struggling with form that doesn't mean they're out of the title race completely. City always have a way of surprising us and talking about trophy, it will be hard to say they can win something this season unless they're in the finals of any competition, we just have to wait.
Another reason why I'm asking if they can get the 6pt in the remaining games this year. It would be a very hard task for Pep because these two teams (Everton and Leicester) are in their best of form to get at least a point in this encounter but the Thursday game against Everton is the very game to be worried about so Pep need something entirely different to beat Everton.

Manchester City will fight against Everton tomorrow and as we all know the recent performance from Everton is quite impressive even the latest is they can able to stole 1 point from Chelsea so Everton cannot be underestimate and according to the odds Manchester City has odds @1.34 which this is low odds but i have no wonder because they are the favourite but the most problem is Manchester City is still hard to find their consistency

Although Everton quality is below to them but there is no guarantee Manchester City will be able to beat Everton and the recent records from Everton is very impressive because before draw from Chelsea they also can playing draw from Arsenal and Everton still cleansheet in the last 3 matches so these records makes me thinking probably Everton can able to stole 1 point again from Manchester City
Even though Manchester City's performance is bad with defeats in the previous two matches, I believe they will work hard in tomorrow's match for 3 points. Everton is indeed not an easy opponent because they are also trying to improve their position in the standings so tomorrow's match will be an important match for them. With their statistics, of course Manchester City has always managed to beat Everton so I will be full of confidence that they can beat Everton at the Etihad Stadium.

I also want to see Pep Guardiola's strategy in tomorrow's match because in the previous two matches Pep was so frustrated with the performance of his players. He looked silent after being defeated by Aston Villa so that tomorrow's match he will pressure his players to appear more careful. Haaland and Kevin must be able to give their best strength to help the team win. If you look at Manchester City, they have two easy matches before the turn of the year, namely the match against Everton and also Leicester City.

Pep has given the team all the strategies needed, it's not his fault that the team couldn't do it better. In the university, you don't expect a lecturer to sit you down like a college students, these are players that are experience, they go into training like they are pro but they can't convert their skills properly in the field, that's a big shame to their career, in the end Pep will get another better offer if they want him go but the players values will diminish in the market.

What I know is that you can't be good all the time, there are days you are good and there days that you get bad results and this one is just another one. There used to have bad season like this, it's not there first but how this one was able to lock in right in front of them faster than they expected is surprisingly to everyone, even Arsenal that struggle all seasons didn't experience this kind of performance they are seeing right now, it's too fast to fail this way but it's still early, many matches to go again after December break.

Pep is a World class coach and there is non like him, with him handling the players at the Etihad till this moment and all he has achieved I don't think this man is going to be sacked even if he loses the two remaining games of 2024. The board or should I say the owners give him that big respect for the impossible things he has done and making City a feared team to compete with other top clubs I don't think they will ever think of firing him, if he wants he'll leave on his own terms.
I agree with you but when we talk about performing good and performing bad we can't really say that to what's happening to City, these guys are have been consistent throughout the whole of last season or for the past 3 seasons and we get to see the same faces every game and they turn up and perform better, no team in England can do what City have done in terms of winning so many number of games. I think is their time to be on the bad side in performing, they need to rest their bones and if you check they don't have that perfect second 11 eleven like we always picture it and the players are also getting old they need a new replacement, maybe the January transfer will help.

Enzo Maresca was definitely the best coach they could ever have in Chelsea because just after he joined there they got improved a lot and now Chelsea is on the top side of the table while before Enzo Maresca they were even about to get relegated with coaches like Potter in this team who tried hard but he could do anything for this team at all.
Now Enzo Maresca is talking about earning the title of Premier League and he said Liverpool is their only competitor for earning the title.

Everton do not actually have any impressive performance. Everton in their past five matches where able to win only 1, drew 3 and lost 1 and that is not impressive in anyway. We can only call such a result in place if when it is measured against Manchester City who has lost three matches, won 1 and drew 1 in the last five EPL matches.
However, no one will confidently say that Manchester City will win the match even if we all know that they will win. The book makers I have also made the odds as usual given everything up to 8 odds while Man City is in the range of 1 odd. It is imperative that Manchester City will win against Everton, if they do not win the World might likely end lol. So, do not risk it because Manchester city must win the match.

The defeat from Bournemouth has shown that currently Manchester United has many weaknesses that they must immediately improve, actually in the match against Manchester City they have shown a good and solid game between lines, but we don't see that when they play against Bournemouth, in addition to consistency, it seems that defense is still the reason why it is easy for the opposing team to scoring in Onana goal, so maybe now Amorim needs to find a right  line up Especially in their defense, the transfer market may be an alternative for Amorim to improve his squad, but with the amount of money they has spent previously, that it will not have an impact on their finances if they sign players again in january?
Manchester United performance against Manchester City wasn't good, both of them play very bad, Manchester United was lucky they got 2 big chance in near end of the match. If not, they would lose against Manchester City.

I'd say Manchester United hasn't changed, they only have few good players like Amad, Mainoo, and Mazraoui, other than that, they're the same.

Manchester United's victory over Manchester City was dramatic, their performance was not that strong. Although Manchester United was able to beat Manchester City in this match, we saw that Manchester United lost badly to Brownmouth in the last match by three goals. Therefore, we can definitely assume that Manchester United's game has not changed, but they are lucky to win. However, Manchester United is playing a little differently now than before, which has resulted in some changes within the team.

Since Manchester United's defeat of Manchester City, Gardiola has lost serious form, and any club will always have an opportunity to defeat them. Gardiola should simply try and make a change in the squad because he will definitely affect them in the competition because all of the players are not in their best form, and even Haaland, who is the highest goal scorer, is no longer functioning and is struggling to score goals in the league competition, m.sallah as be in a great form with Liverpool and am thinking that he will get the golden boot and achieve the title before he leave the club. Guadiola need to just focus on the Ucl and build is team more because am sure he can't win the premier league anymore he as lost is opportunities to win the league h should just focus on the champions league he can perform well h can probably achieve trophy without leaving without it.

Bukayo Saka's injury will be a problem for Arsenal. Saka is a key player in the team and with him sidelined due to injury, it will be difficult for Arsenal to win the league as they will be lacking the creativity that Saka brings to the team.

I expect Liverpool to comfortably win Leicester City in the fixture. Leicester City are no match for Liverpool in terms of squad depth. I will bet on Liverpool to win both halves and an over 3.5 goals in the match.

Based on the current situation right, what if things change? Lol, I'm joking; there is no way Arsenal will win the Premeir league without the presence of Saka, it's will be mission impossible. Funny how Manchester City has always been their problem from winning but right now, they are their least problem, it's now Chelsea and Liverpool and those ones look too determine, there is nothing on earth Arsenal can do right now to take their place, they simply can't.

Arsenal next game is going to be between them and IPswitch and they have an advantage, like this is going be a 3 points win for them, what bothers me is their line features for the January, it's as if the universe is arrange for them to play. They are going to lose most of this games unless Arteta has a better strategy to win the matches, with the way he is even losing matches he doesn't look to confident to win those match, they are getting worse.

Even Manchester United’s fans can now see that the coach is not really Manchester United’s problem, and no matter the amounts of coaches they bring to the club, there won’t really be much difference in the club's performance. From the pattern which Ruben Amorim is playing, everyone can see that he is a talented coach, just that the pattern that he is trying to use, Manchester United players are not used to it, or should I say can’t adapt to the pattern, so I will say he will have to bring in his own players that can play the pattern that he wants.

When the transfer window is open, then Ruben Amorim will be signing some new players, and from the way things are going, then lots of players will be leaving the club. If Ruben Amorim doesn’t sign some players, then he will end up being sacked just the same way other coaches are sacked.

I don’t really know what’s wrong with most of the players in Manchester United currently, I just feel like they are not really ready to play with the club, or maybe they are having internal problem that people don’t really know about. I just hope Ruben Amorim will be able to get things right because Manchester United has stayed so long in their current position, and Manchester United fans are really impatient, they will start complaining about Ruben Amorim if he doesn’t fix the club’s problem as soon as possible.
Actually, the decline in the quality of the players is what causes their performance to not be too good and the change of coach takes time to develop a better strategy. For Manchester United, their defense looks quite weak this season so that Manchester United is so easily defeated by their opponents when playing at Old Trafford. Continuous defeats make it difficult for them to compete for tickets to the Champions League next season.

Amorim must be given time, he is a good coach and he needs some new players to realize his ambition to bring Manchester United to victory and victory. Maybe Manchester United should look for a new goalkeeper because Onana is not performing at his best, he failed to keep the goal from conceding and also the defense line must be much stronger for the second half of this season.

Seems that Saka has suffered a hamstring injury that will keep him out of action for a few weeks, maybe longer. If he’s out for a significant amount of time it will really harm Arsenal’s hopes of challenging for the title. I don’t wish injury on any player so I hope he is not out for too long.

Next up for Slot’s all conquering Liverpool is Leicester at Anfield. I have tickets, will be my first game for a couple of months. Looking forward to it, expecting a comfortable win.

Vitor Pereira has done the team good. After losing 3-0 away to Leicester in the first game of his new team, Pereira's men will hopefully bounce back from this. He has a great chance to prove himself at Wolverhampton. He is a manager I have been following since Fenerbahçe. He is also very good at finding new talents. Ferdi Kadıoğlu, Arda güler, kim min jae are among the names that shine.
Yes, that's right. Vitor Pereira is a competent coach, if you look at his track record as a coach, Wolves are very lucky to have him as a coach. It was seen after playing against Leicester City, he only had three days to prepare for this match after being appointed as Wolves' new manager. Vitor Pereira was able to make changes and polish some of his team's shortcomings so that they were able to win big and managed to clean up the mess, of course this is a good start for Wolves to get away from the relegation zone.

This is a great victory to start a new era with Pereira. Their next match will be against Man United, of course this will be a new test for Pereira, but if they can play the same game as against Leicester City with great effectiveness in shooting on goal and solid defense I have no doubt that Man United will have difficulty beating Wolves, even another possibility is that Wolves can beat Man United, especially because Amorim has not found the right formation for Man United.

We will see after the mid-season transfer window opens whether Liverpool will maintain its consistency or other clubs will improve because surely some clubs will bring in new faces to their squads including Liverpool itself or vice versa, what is clear is that changes will definitely be felt in the middle of the season. Chelsea still has the opportunity to continue to approach Liverpool's position.
I have a very set understanding of this, and I think my system and method would make much more sense. If they are going to keep Salah and Trent and VVD, then they do not need transfers, they can keep what they have and they can keep the consistency and they will be fine with it.

However, if they are going to not sign those players back, or even can't sign those players back, then I am assuming that they should get some replacements for those players ready even right now, as much as they can, even if not for all three, they should try to get a right winger. In that case, for the last 5 months of Salahs career there, they would have a right winger, possibly younger, who will replace him on some already ended games. When the game is 3-0 at 70th minute, take Salah out and put the young player in, same goes for other two if the situation is same. This way, they could get the new player used to it, and when Salah leaves, they won't be chasing to find a replacement.

There’s no replacement for Bukayo Saka, Arsenal are going to struggle without him. Although It it like Gabriel Jesus is picking form but I don’t think he cover for Saka’s absence because Gabriel Jesus  has been inconsistent this season.

Arsenal have struggle a lot with injuries to key players this season. This could push Arteta to be active in the January transfer window to get more players.

United had quite a few chances. The problem was their finishing was not accurate enough. Amorim tried to replace Zirkzee and bring in Højlund, but their deadlock situation could not be overcome. Moreover, there were gaps in United's defense that were quite easy for Bournemouth players to exploit.
I think Amorim needs to correct many things in that match. I thought United would not accept a defeat like that, but what we saw was the opposite.
Manchester United's situation has now become a little more difficult, the crushing defeat a few days ago clearly provides a situation where they ultimately have a defense that is still unstable even though it cannot be denied that in the end their attack pattern is good but when talking about defense and intercepting fast counterattacks they clearly do not have good things to show.

Facing Wolves later the situation could also look the same especially since surely Wolves will also try to make a performance in defense first and maximize fast counterattacks and take advantage of Mancehster United's weak aerial duels as an opportunity.
Manchester United's defense is difficult to guess because they sometimes on several occasions look very good like when they faced Manchecster City where Maguire, De Ligt and Lisandro played well but on several occasions like yesterday's match they really played very badly.
You are very correct. I think the reason why the situation is like that at Manchester United is because the coach has not picked his first eleven, Amorim is looking to test all his players to be able to know the ones he would sell and the ones he would keep at the club. Manchester United has shown flashes or brilliant performance this season and am sure with time and from next season under the guidance of Amorim Manchester United will be able to have a steady progress and performance. I don't think a team like Wolves will be able to cause an upset against Manchester United irrespective of where the match will be played.

I'm not sure if Manchester city has ever experienced such loss since pep joined. More than 7 losses isn't a joke. It's just obvious that they're in their long awaited season of struggle, which I think they will get out of before the season runs out. Like I've said in another thread, I don't think the problem now is Rodri. It seems like teams in the English premier league are now smart and bold enough to play till the very last minute against Manchester city. Take the Manchester derby for example, Manchester city actually scored first, but at some point in the game, Manchester united grew stronger in the game and got those two late goals. The last goal that Amad scored showed how disorganized the Manchester city players can be especially when you break through their defense.

Even before Manchester city lost Rodri to injury, they usually concede goals. The good thing about them is that they know how to score enough goals that wins them games. But unluckily for them at this point, they fail to defend and also fail to score enough winning goals, which has made them to lose so many games and also drop points.

Chelsea have recovered well in recent weeks this season. Even with a draw away to Everton, there was always going to be a team that would hang around. They really wanted to win this game but unfortunately it didn't happen. They're four points behind Liverpool with a game in hand.
Liverpool had a good win against Tottenham. In a game full of goals, Liverpool managed to defeat their opponent with 6 goals. After leading 3-1 at half time, Liverpool started the second half fast. They increased the gap to 4 but couldn't keep it. Mohammed Salah was the undisputed star of the match with 2 goals and 2 assists.
It wasn't a bad result either despite Chelsea dropping off two points in that game, to be realistic, I'm not expecting Chelsea to continue to win every of their single matches without encountering a draw or a defeat along the line, but rather have a way number of wins than they would encounter defeats or draws ,this is how the game is. All we need to see from Chelsea under Enzo Maresca is consistency, even when they lose, their next game should be a recovery match.

If we pay attention to this season, Everton's defense is indeed quite difficult to penetrate by strong clubs and I traced several times Everton achieved a goalless draw this season as many as 5 times, namely when against Newcastle, West Ham, Brentford, Arsenal and lastly Chelsea. Especially the match between Arsenal and Chelsea they were completely unable to penetrate Everton's goal even though they are a strong club in attacking I am surprised Everton can do that to an elite club but not actually experience defeat or tend to be bad against an ordinary club.
Everton is one of the clubs which are struggling badly due to their low quality attack, but their defense is surely still one of the best as in last 7 games we have only one team which able to score goals against them in 6 games they have clean sheets which are never been easy specially while you are playing against teams like Chelsea and Arsenal currently they are in safe zone with most chances we have them another season in Premier League, but they needed to be increase their attacking power which is not helping them.

Dyche surely having good strategy but if he brought some offensive changes we can expect them at better spot in Premier League table their next game against Manchester City a challenge for both clubs with Citizens are looking for end of deadlock and Everton will try to keep their momentum.
