There are have first and second leg format with EFL Cup still not close opportunity for Chelsea qualifying to final round and get chance for winning first trophy in this season after losing hope with Premier League trophy. Losses 1-0 from Middlesbrough last night not much problem if Chelsea possibility win above two goals on second leg match will play at the end of this month.

I meant look at how palmer becomes a striker while broject was just starting from the bench. Gallagher played as attacking midfielder, sterling on the left and medueke on right, This is stupid mistake to do an experiment and pochettino deserves to be kicked out from the club.
Pochettino was so overconfidence in that game and he was implementing non sense strategy used by chelsea to face the mediocre team like middlesbrough. It's very annoying to see the horrific strategy used by chelsea.

What makes Tottenham superior in the next match is that their performance is better than MU's, which is currently very difficult to predict. MU played inconsistently even when facing opponents they should have been able to beat.

Palmer isn't even playing as a striker, so how can the coach use him to play in that position? I don't see any development in the coming second leg because this team may come out to defend their win and unfortunately Chelsea doesn't know to break defense of a team who sits back. Being eliminated in the competition is understandable but being eliminated by a team like this can not be accepted.

It's been an unresolved fact for a long time that Chelsea have a problem with finishing.Pochettino hasn't figured out how to fix it yet and if he can't fix it for a few more weeks, his job will get harder.I don't think he can continue in the team for much longer. Dominating a match is not always good if you can't score goals. And a team that does not dominate the game but has good observation in finding gaps in the opponent and then makes attacks with a good level of accuracy and scores goals is the best. Chelsea they are indeed playing well but they are still bad at making the final solution of every attack they build. So Chelsea's defeat did not surprise many people because they were already in a condition that many people did not expect this season. Just look at to Chelsea match statistics yesterday that they had 18 total of shots and 72% ball possession but none of those shot attempts can even score 1 goal so Chelsea really have a problem to their front lines however i have counting during the match Palmer at least was wasted 4 opportunities to scores even so with Gallagher that he did the same thing and i know there is a chance for Chelsea to fliped the situation because for second leg Chelsea will playing as a host and win with 2 goals margin is still possible for them but Mauricio Pochettino should be evaluate this result and performing well later

For 2nd semifinal match between Liverpool vs Fulham that Liverpool in the good condition because they had just beat Arsenal at Fa Cup so Liverpool has good of motivation to beat Fulham today especially for this match Liverpool will playing as a host so i am sure Liverpool will not missed their chance to gets the winning result from this match and about team condition Liverpool will playing without Moh Salah who defend Egypt national team to playing at African Cup but i think it won't be a big problem for them because last match against Arsenal too Liverpool can able to win without this player and probably Klopp will do some rotation for Liverpool squad because Liverpool too had other target on Premier League

It's a mistake to not replace Palmer with other striker, he already got three big chances, but wasted all of them. Although Chelsea play really well, I don't feel they will qualify for final since they don't have any good striker. Broja, Sterling, Palmer, Madueke, etc are just B class players.

Isn't shame Chelsea lose against mediocre team in Championship?

I guess the next match Middlesbrough will play defensive and end in draw.

For the second leg, I think there is still hope for Chelsea. But if the opponent decides to make a full defensive strategy then well this will be very difficult for Chelsea.
