Currently, De Bruyne has returned and immediately made a big contribution in last match against Huddersfield in the FA CUP by making 1 assist. And in that match Man City was able to win with a very big score, namely 5-0. In this match, there was visible development and increased sharpness in Man City's attacks. Maybe because they only played against clubs that weren't too strong.
With the presence of Kevin de Bruyne Manchester City performance will surely improve a lot because it was because of the absence of Kelvin de Bruyne that made Manchester City performing a bit poor on the premier League that made them enter the fourth position on the table but however it seems they have started peaking form because after there wining they were able to move from were they are to the third position they are now, so perhaps considering there points difference Manchester City has a great chance of correcting there mistakes, perhaps all they need right now is consistent in there wining and they will become the premier League top one.

The victory over Arsenal indicates that Liverpool did not depend on Moh Salah, even though without him Liverpool were still able to give the best appearance that made Arsenal lose the place in the FA Cup. Liverpool managed to maintain its good performance, victory at the Emirates Stadium also gave an indication that they had no effect with the absence of Moh Salah who was defending Egypt in the African Cup.
They fought in the FA Cup, in this competition did not fight for the number of points because it implemented the knockout system.
It is good for Liverpool to win without Salah but in a next few weeks, they will have many difficulty without him. Even if they have Salah in the squad but if he can not play well and score goals, they already struggle to find goals and get winnings. It is fact in many matches of Liverpool and their coach, Klopp, said in an interview that he could not remember how many times Salah saved Liverpool. Only this statement from Klopp is enough for importance of Mohamed Salah with Liverpool.

They will have no way than try to get as maximum points as possible in coming matches without Salah. They will also have to pray for Salah to have a good tournament with his national team and return to Liverpool with a healthy, non injured body.
If we look more closely, it's not just Liverpool whose key players have temporarily left, Arsenal, Tottenham and Aston Villa have also sent players to strengthen their respective national teams. Luckily, Man City did not send any players on this mission, but we know that Halaand is suffering from an injury, which is also a loss for Pep front line. Despite all that, the competition for the top five in the standings will continue to be fierce, every manager can only pray that their players can return to the squad without injury.

On the other hand, Liverpool is now the favorite in almost all the competitions they participate in, even though previously Arsenal also had the same big opportunity, especially in leading the EPL standings. In the FA Cup itself, Arsenal put on an aggressive performance, but Liverpool won, which was difficult to accept because they were defeated in front of their own supporters. It looks like the Gunners fate has the potential to repeat itself like last season, it is very easy to lose momentum.

Liverpool and Arsenal must shift their focus to the EPL, in week 21 the Reds must again try to strengthen their position at the top of the standings, provided they beat Bournemouth. Meanwhile, the Gunners must forget the defeat they suffered in the FA Cup, and beating Crystal Palace might be a solace for fans. Actually, the best big match in my opinion is Man United versus Tottenham, of course I won't miss it.

The own goal was a lucky goal. But the second goal was a goal made by their efforts. You can't claim Liverpool won the game because of the luck factor.  Wink
The luck factor does exist – but Liverpool's victory will never happen just because they hope for luck without hard work. All the players worked hard to score goals and defend the defensive area - and boom, the chance came and the first goal changed everything for the better for us. It was a fantastic win - especially as we won away match.

Arsenal suffered - yes, that's what happened. We also suffered in the first half because Arsenal put a lot of pressure on the defense - but fortunately, everyone worked hard to prevent Arsenal from converting their chances into goals. I would like to say - it was a tense match for both team.

Arsenal's strength is already unable to match Liverpool, even Arsenal coach Arteta admits that Liverpool plays very well from his team.
Mikel Arteta also admitted he was frustrated with the situation experienced by Arsenal's attack. This Spanish man admitted that he did not have the best solution to the problem. Losing 2-0 to Liverpool puts Arsenal must be in 4th position with 40 points equal to Man City and it will make Arsenal drop to 5th position.
Liverpool still lead at the top of the standings with 45 points.
The solution in just to bring new players with much better performance or carry out major changes to all the player that Arsenal has.
I say this for the reason that since last season, Arsenal has always appeared inconsistent, in fact I sometimes feel like it very ridiculous,  sometimes Arsenal looks very strong but only in 3 or 4 matches, but after this they experienced very deep decline, almost surprising the whole world.
Last season it competed with Manchester city but in fact it  was also beaten by Manchester City and moved again.
Arteta as responsible coach must immediately find best solution before several other club immediately recover.

Now we just have to wait for how Liverpool will perform without Salah in their squad because after all, this must be passed but I still feel they will still be quite good in terms of performance, it's just that the problem of scoring goals is a little difficult.
Seeing from Klopp's statement about the current situation for Salah I think he is still quite optimistic about it because indeed some players like Eliot or maybe Gakpo who are converted as right wingers can still be done but on the other hand at this time Klopp needs to emphasize more for Nunez because this is their last hope.
Nunez until now has not shown good signs of scoring goals but this is the only way for them because after all Nunez is the last pedestal for Liverpool at the moment.

Klopp has successfully implemented several strategies to play even without Salah Liverpool's last match was the proof when Liverpool beat Arsenal at home when more people think Arsenal will win but what happens is the opposite so overall playing without Salah is not always worrying. Besides, Salah will not last long with Liverpool it is predicted that he only has a chance for the next 2 seasons so Liverpool must adapt to play without Salah, sSo far from what I see other players have not been able to replace the role of Salah.

For small matches, maybe other forward players can do it too. But in EPL and UCL matches Haaland is really needed. I haven't found out when Haaland will return. Although previously there had been news circulating that Haaland had also recovered. But I haven't had time to read the latest news regarding its development.
If you check Man City last five games after they lost to Aston Villa, you'd see they won all of their premier league games and all these, Haaland was absent. So telling me the club missed his services is an understatement because if it were so, they won't have won those games, rather the reverse would have been the case instead, you can see that without Haaland, Man City is fine. Pep has trained his men to a standard that even when a good player like de bruyne was out, there was Foden to fill in the blanks and even though he can't be matched with the Belgian, you can say the Englishman did a fine job.
It's quite funny to say Haaland is a big game player when we all know he doesn't really contribute much. Let's compare Haaland with Jullian Alvarez, who always shows how instrumental he can be for the club whether he scores or not. He (Alvarez) will either give you a goal, an assist or mark very well but that's not the same as Haaland, so you can't say Haaland is a big miss, let's say Haaland is out of the season and I can beat my chest that Man City won't miss him anytime any day.

Haaland's injury seems to be making Man City difficult. Since losing against Aston Villa, Haaland has not appeared. This makes Man City weak, and if it doesn't improve soon it might make it difficult for Man City to compete in the UCL or in the EPL. Man city has not found a player who can replace Haaland at this time. Although indeed in several matches Man City always won after Haaland was injured against Aston Villa.
Yes, you are right about this, Manchester City did seem to struggle when Haaland was injured. Man City's dull front line seems to remind Haaland of his important role, because without Haaland the team feels like it has lost its life if there are no key players. It looks like Pep Guardiola has to get used to it and look for a replacement for Haaland for a while, to stay focused and consistent when Manchester City's key player suffers an injury like this, so that the team's performance in the future still looks good and of high quality. That way, I'm sure they can definitely win the match in the next UCL and EPL matches.
If Haaland can't play, they can actually apply the strategy where they haven't brought Haaland, which is to play without a pure striker or play with a false nine, but it's not easy because they also need to familiarize themselves with that strategy again.
But in my opinion it is not a big problem as long as KDB is in the squad again, because for me the life of the Manchester City game is in the role of KDB. This was very pronounced when Manchester City played without KDB. Usually when a team loses a striker but they have a player with the ability to read the game well, they will be able to play well too. The loss will be felt, but not that much.

It will be very deadly now that De Bryne is back to Manchester City while Haaland is on his way. The team is going back to the usual Man City team that won several competitions in one season. And the way i see it, since both of the key players will be playing soon in the EPL and UCL they have more chances of winning the titles again. It will only take luck if another team gets to win the title.

Obviously, Kelvin's impact was felt in their last match during the FA cup competition. It shows that he is fit and ready to give those unique passes and assist as usual. Actually, i don't want Manchester City to win the league again because they have had too much of it. But if it still goes that way am find with it. My choice for the EPL title is Liverpool and i want to see them win.

I this agree with the post above me, I don't think arsenal tried to win that game, I watch the match and first half both teams played very poorly, the chances Arsenal had were never a serious threat to Liverpool defense in any way. I think it was generally a boring match and both teams did not give it their all, Liverpool had some luck to end up winners in the end.

Enjoyed a very competitive game. Neither team could score until 80 minutes, Liverpool managed to score at the last moment. Jakub Kiwior scored the first goal to help the team win, and after the second game another call in overtime sealed the win for the team. And Liverpool team gained 3 points by defeating Arsenal team.

Even with or without Salah I knew Arsenal can't win the match cause the team lacks the effort to push through, I don't know what's happening to the structure of the team cause during the early season Arsenal was not like this and it seems they'll continue playing like this each match day, Arteta should change the key starters if he really want the team to push forward this season, and seeing the premier league season now Manchester city and Liverpool will definitely kick Arsenal out from the game if they're not careful and now Bruyne is back so we might likely expect more from Manchester city.

Liverpool continued improvement in performance will not have too big an impact as long as Salah plays for his country in the Africa Cup of Nations. Klopp has drawn up a plan so that his team's performance remains stable even though he is without his mainstay striker, he still has several players who can be relied on to fill the position left by Salah. Liverpool who are leading the EPL standings, will continue to try to maintain their position without the slightest dependence on Salah. They must be able to help each other so that their team can get full points in every game.

Aston Villa who has performed well this season, is a threat to Liverpool. Liverpool's mistakes could have fatal consequences because they are only three points apart. Manchester and Arsenal will also not let Liverpool sit comfortably at the top of the standings, the competition is very competitive so Liverpool must always be able to maintain their position safely with consistent performances.
Liverpool who are without Salah at this moment and expected to be falling short especially due to his absence. But it seems the whole team isn’t missing Mo too much. Jurgen has made arrangements for his departure and made sure they maintain their form with the best available players who have also proved to be able to fill up the gap for him. Salah’s departure could have caused a fall in the league for them but Jurgen isn’t going to stay and let that happen and is on a bid to help the team back on track.

Manchester City and Arsenal seem to be the only threat; I don’t think Aston Villa will be able to match the strength of these 3 clubs to go for the title. so Liverpool must remain consistent to be on the watch for City and Arsenal. Well Arsenal doesn't really pull a threat but City would be coming out with full force in this 2nd half of the season.

I'm not sure Liverpool will still perform well even without Moh Salah because Moh Salah is Liverpool's key player in achieving victory and recently Moh Salah has increased his total goals and matched Haaland, even though Kloop is an experienced coach, Salah's presence is still important for the team, but If it really is urgent and Moh Salah is forced to leave Liverpool, it can't be helped, Kloop will definitely think of other options so that Liverpool continues to perform well without his presence.
But looking at Liverpool's last match against Arsenal away without Moh Salah, Liverpool could still win it, either because they were lucky or because Liverpool still tried hard to win, but hopefully this is not just luck and Liverpool will be fine without Salah.
Since MOH Salah left for the AFCON Liverpool has won a few games even in his absence which for me is a clear indication that they can still manage to cope in his absence, we all know how crucial is his role to Liverpool but that alone will not make Liverpool just lose games and probably drop form so bad.

The presence of Salah will no doubts do Liverpool so much good especially with the fact he scores a good number of goals for the team which has actually placed him side by side with haland who also happens to have scored some good number of goals too in the premier league which places him as the highest goal scorer in the premier league this season but then it's really an advantage for haland who is in Manchester city and will still be playing while Salah is away for the AFCON which means Salah may no longer be the highest goal scorer again but then Liverpool will still do well regardless.

The gameplay less attractive and effective. Liverpool had been trying so hard to rebuild the attack since the first half but it's all being useless caused by theer was no salah in the squad. Arsenal played very awful at the second half and it becomes a blunder for arsenal.
The result achieved by arsenal against liverpool probably shocked the manager and its fans. I do understnad if they were feeling very disappointed with the result after they were always seeing their favorite club attacking liverpool since the first half but arsenal lost.

We are talking about how arsenal never learnt from the past mistake. Did Arteta instruct his players to learn from the mistakes of the past? I think that arteta was not even doing it. The good run in EPL made arsenal overconfidence right now.
This is good caused by the chance owned by manchester city to win the competition is even bigger since arsenal may be out from the title race once we are entering at the end of season.

Public can't believe it how arsenal missed so many chances. I was saying to myself here we go again once the second half had begun but liverpool surprisingly winning the game it sounds amazing.

Looking at the recent match data, Man City seems to have the upper hand. Considering Newcastle's home game statistics, it puts extra pressure on Man City. Newcastle has an 80% win rate for home matches, but I haven't found any reason to doubt supporting Man City in this game.

I think a handicap of -1 for Man City is still within the normal range, right? Man City has consistently scored at least 2 goals in several recent matches.

The comeback of de bruyne has become my main reason to pick manchester city even though it will be playing away. Seeing the current line up makes me feel better caused by manchester city will be putting de bruyne and doku in.
Foden and pedri can always become the biggest threats for newcastle too. Newcastle has lost its confidence in the previous matches. Im sure it will be impacting the performance from the club soon. The performance from joelinton or even goden were so bad.

The outcome of the match against Manchester City remains uncertain due to de Brunye's participation. Newcastle will be faced with the challenge of determining which player they should prioritize guarding, resulting in a sense of confusion.
Finally, manchester city has been coming back again with its best line up. This match will be really worthy to be watched and im feeling that howe will be very close to be sacked after this match.

The PIF members are beginning to become increasingly impatient as they consistently witness their club's continuous losses in the English Premier League.

Yes, I agree with you that Manchester City can win their upcoming Premier League games, but I don't think they can win the league title. While their performance will change as a result of their injured players returning, and after their most recent game, you'll realise that they can repeat their successful season of winning three trophies, my reasoning for saying that Manchester City cannot win the title is because Liverpool is leading the league, and we all know that Liverpool can win the title no matter what.

Liverpool isn't like Arsenal, which struggles mightily every season. When Liverpool is leading the league, it is very hard to watch them lose, and as evidenced by their most recent FA Cup match, Liverpool can play exceptionally well even without Salah. Manchester City can also compete for the league title, but it will be a tough fight between Liverpool and Manchester City because Liverpool is a very strong team as well.

Today we are expecting a match between Middlesbrough and Chelsea, and many people are saying that Chelsea have the victory of today's game. I am also predicting that Chelsea are winning the game, though we can’t say or brag that Chelsea are the ones to win the game, although Chelsea improved a lot in their FA Cup home 4-0 victory over Preston North End, winning three matches, while Middlesbrough suffered a 2-game losing streak at home to Aston Villa in the FA Cup.

Middlesbrough has already lost almost all of their six games against Chelsea, failing to score one goal and losing 15 goals, although the past confrontation was completely crushed by the opponent. Chelsea has no shortage of goals in the games, with at least 3 goals in all of the last 15 matches, including their 10 matches with at least 3 goals.

To me, I believe that Chelsea are in the position to win their game because for the previous games played, you will see that Chelsea have more wins than Middlesbrough. Although they haven't  played matches with Chelsea so far in this season, this is their first match to play. But from Chelsea's last six matches, Chelsea managed to win 4 games, walk 1 game, and lose 1 game, while in the last six games of Middlesbrough, they won 4 games, walked 0 games, and lost 2 games. So with all this, I believe and am sure that Chelsea will win the match, but we are going to watch and see what will happen in the game today.

I think even if Haaland is absent due to injury, there is still a striker who can replace his role very well and that is Julian Alvarez. We know that this player from Argentina often contributes when the team needs his role on the field and under Pep Guardiola his performance remains stable whether he is positioned as a striker or attacking midfielder. I think everyone already knows his performance so far at Manchester City and there is no need to be confused anymore about thinking about other striker options when it is definitely safe.

I think this is more of an unnecessary worry and I think the important thing is that Kevin De Bruyne returning to the pitch with Manchester City alone can be good news for his fans. Manchester City will immediately step on the gas for the remainder of this season and we know Manchester City's late winning mode will be much more dangerous than other teams.

Although I was disappointed with the result of the match. But I can't fault Arsenal's overall performance. Because actually they played very well and even continued to make Liverpool difficult in the first half. Because some of the opportunities Arsenal got were almost always goals. But because of poor finishing, opportunities were wasted and only made them lose in the end. Arteta must be aware that the weakness of the squad he trains is in the resolution of attacks. Because Arsenal's front players are actually quite good at building attacks, but their only weakness is ending attacks. I don't know how long this has been happening, but if it continues like this, Arsenal could be knocked out of the top 4 rankings. losing to Liverpool actually wasn't that bad either. But everyone was disappointed about Arsenal's finishing attack.
