Correct. Getting a better striker might indeed be a solution. But the problem is that in the mid-season transfer market it is very difficult to get good players in the transfer market. Because of course all the great players will be retained by each club until the season ends. Unless it makes a high offer that is difficult for the targeted club and player to refuse.

If Arsenal cannot bring in a new, better striker, then Arteta's task will definitely become tougher because he has to maximize the current striker. And actually Arsenal's strikers were also very good at first. His quality has been proven at the start of this season with Arsenal and also in the previous season. It's just that I don't know what's happening now that all the front line players seem to be together and not as sharp as usual.

That can happen because we know that maintaining consistency at the top level is very difficult for any player. I see that currently Arsenal does not have a striker who is able to maintain their level of play. Examples of strikers who are able to be consistent with their performance are Kane, Mbappe and Haaland. I can't mention all the strikers but the fact is that currently Arsenal's strikers are still inconsistent with their game and this is a tough task for Arteta if he wants to appear competitive and win the title.

Yes indeed, the reality is that Arsenal do not have a striker who is consistent in scoring goals and in fact, so far this season Arsenal's top scorer is owned by Bukayo Saka who only plays as a midfielder. After all, Arsenal forwards such as Gabriel Jesus, Eddie Nketiah and Leandro Trossard also do not have a good goal record and therefore, it is natural that Arsenal still need better forwards.

But regarding the decline in position and performance experienced by Arsenal at this moment, I think it is a common result and usually experienced by Arsenal in the second half of the season. Because after all, from season to season very often Arsenal fail to maintain their performance. Therefore, then I cannot blame only about the forward players because yes, basically Arsenal have still failed to maintain their top position in the Premier League standings in recent seasons.

That win for Liverpool was huge without Salah. I thought the whole game that Arsenal would have the upper hand in the end, but Liverpool didn't stop defending so strongly. Luck was on their side to a certain degree, but Liverpool isn't a bunch of lazy guys who didn't deserve it. They worked their asses off during that game and if then luck is in their favor, I am ok with it. Since they lost their best striker due to the African Cup, it's only fair if some of that disadvantage turns into a little bit of luck for them at the right place and in the right moment. This time Arsenal was out of luck.
When I saw the progress of the match in the first half, I thought that Arsenal would win this match because they played better than Liverpool who didn't get any shots on target in the first half. But, in the second half, Liverpool improved slightly and I think what made them win was that they had a better fighting spirit and composure than Arsenal. Liverpool always keeps their guard up and when Arsenal lets their guard down and makes a mistake, Liverpool takes advantage of that opportunity to get a goal.
In this match Arsenal actually won in terms of possession of the ball and opportunities, but unfortunately the dullness of the front line again became Arsenal's main problem because there was no striker who was capable enough to score goals, Arsenal habit of attacking through Saka and Martinelli was very easy for the opponent to read so there was no creativity arsenal attacks can be predicted if the end of the match always ends in defeat, if you look at several Arsenal matches back then you will be able to find that Arsenal game is actually quite good but the final solution is always a problem, in the match against Liverpool we can see that the front players Arsenal looked very frustrated because the Liverpool defenders seemed to have read every move of the Arsenal players and were able to overcome them.

Here is the list of temporary top scorers in the EPL and as usual there is the name Erling Haaland who tops the temporary tally with 14 goals and that is the same number as Mohamed Salah who is behind in terms of age. Erling Haaland is still very young and is still consistent with Manchester City and it is likely that he will still be the top scorer in the 23/24 EPL season. Apart from that, there is one surprising name, namely Dominic Solanke from Bournemouth who has managed to score 12 goals so far and that is also the same number of goals as Son from Spurs. Another one is Jarrod Bowen from West Ham with 11 goals which also enlivens the list of top scorers so far.

I think the competition between these players to get the EPL golden boot is still very wide open and they still have the opportunity to increase the number of goals they will score in the remainder of this season. But what is clear is that the competition for top scorers will still be dominated by Erling Haaland and Mohamed Salah until the end of this season. Quite curious who will set another record this season.
Haaland is certainly a unique player, because you can see that this season he is clearly in a slump and very often it is seen that he does not get into the game and often can not score from very favorable situations, in which before without problems scored, but nevertheless, even being not in the best shape remains the best scorer in the EPL.

Salah as always well done, trying to pull Liverpool to the championship this year and trying his best, and Bowen is probably time to look for a club from the top five, the potential for development he still has a lot.

Salah is a very unique goal scoring player and he also creates goals for his teammates. I will not compare them both but they are the best goal scoring players we have in the Premier League Competition.

Erling Haaland has Kevin De Bruyne and the rest of the Manchester City players who have been very productive for the big man. Mo Salah though can't score more goals if he doesn't return fully fit and safe after the Afcon.
Over the years, he has been rhe best goalscoring player for Liverpool, same can be achieved if he returns back without being Injured.

With the way the league is going and the competition for first place, Erling Haaland and Mohammed Salah will undoubtedly be the favourites to win the golden boot this season. They are both doing well for their respective teams and are eager to score more goals to give their teams an advantage in the race for the Premier League title. The other players who made the top scorers list are doing great as well, but there is no guarantee that they will remain there until the end of the season. Liverpool currently leads the table, with Manchester City trailing in points. However, due to Haaland's spectacular nature, he is likely to win the golden boot this season.

The game was completely one-sided. Manchester City players performed exceptionally well, especially Foden. Kevin De Bruyne and Jeremy Doku returned from injury and City scored five goals against Huddersfield in the FA Cup! It's a comprehensive win for Manchester City, as expected. Of course, it's good to see KDB back in action. More good things to come!
This was indeed a good achievement even though the opponents were not quite evenly matched, so it is very natural to say that the match was only one-sided. But this week Manchester City will visit Newcastle United where everyone will again see how Foden, Kevin De Bruyne and Jeremy Doku play against fairly even opponents. Because currently Manchester City really needs to catch up with Liverpool who are still quite strong at the top of the standings with only one defeat after twenty matches this season.

Manchester City can still be relatively relaxed, it is not as if they were far behind and would need to fear that they lose contact to the top teams at the table. In fact if they win that one game which they still have to play to catch up in the number of games, it is just 2 points between them and a very strong Liverpool. But the season is still very long and if we think about the teams that have most likely the longest breath in this race, I think most of us here would agree that it is more likely to see Manchester City make some big moves instead of Aston Villa or Arsenal. In my opinion there is nothing to worry about for them.
There is still alot ahead of this season and Manchester City is still in a good position to climb the table to top the league,  I was arguing with a Manchester City fan earlier this week and he was so optimistic that Manchester City is going to retain their current title in all leagues.

But I try to point him to some fact that may limit the club from achieving that in this season,  but he was so bent on his point and at that point, I have to leave him alone and let time do the judgement,  to see where Manchester city will end this season.

This season is a tough one, we can see already more than three teams competing closely for the title. Kelvin De Bruyne’s return is definitely a huge boost for Manchester City who haven’t been at their very best level since his injury. With or without KDB, Manchester City were going to win over Huddersfield anyway so bringing KDB on was just to increase the torture and dominance.

Kevin De Bruyne had not played a match for 5 months, if you are taking a long break after being injured, returning with such a simple match is a very good option. He was back on the field without tiring himself, and they took as little risk as possible.
I hope the effects of your injury end soon. There are already news about De Bruyne's transfer, maybe he can become a star in a team like Al Nassr if he doesn't get injured.  Smiley
I was really happy about Kevin De Bruyne's come back, but just like you said I believe with time pep guardiola might offload him, because it's as if the teams has gotten used to his absence, however the Manchester city team hasn't gotten that master stroke yet in terms of winning ways, so in another vain allowing him just to go like that will affect the team general performance because De Bruyne still have a lot to offer, he just got back from injury allow him some time to blend with his teammates and you will see his firepower.

However, after seeing yesterday's performance, I think Pep Guardiola as manager will definitely consider the contribution that a player like De Bruyne can make, and giving De Bruyne time to fully recover and re-adapt to his teammates is a wise move. A player of De Bruyne's quality can add an extra dimension to his team, and waiting to see his contribution once fully recovered is a sensible option.
With everything De Bruyne has, letting him go is not the right decision, considering that when De Bruyen doesn't appear, Manchester City experiences problems in scoring goals. With De Bruyne's return, everyone hopes that De Bruyne can continue to make a meaningful contribution to Manchester City.

Arsenal is finished and this club will get nothing this season. Im feeling so happy liverpool was just destroying arsenal. Liverpudlians are starting to yelling it. Arsenal fans shall be blaming arteta caused by this is his mistake.
The club is going down again like what it used to be last season and im very happy caused by arsenal out from top 16 of FA cup. The club can put more focus on to the other competition like UCL and EPL which is potentially bottling it as well.
This is the main problem that needs to be sorted out by arsenal as soon as possible. I kinda feel that if arsenal will be trophyless again this season caused by the club was not seriously building its winning mentality. Arsenal can't even keep up with it.
Im doubting the performance from the club in EPL caused by the bad result in FA cup makes it clear if arsenal has no winning mentality and no doubt that if people were no putting arsenal to win EPL again this season.
The current season is owning by manchester city and liverpool. These clubs are the strongest candidate to win EPL.
That seems like an overreaction, first of all we should realize that even the "nothing" is not really nothing in the end, Arsenal could finish in top four, meaning will go to UCL next season again and they are facing Porto this year at UCL and could go to quarter finals as well.

When you consider all those, I feel like they are going to make some serious money, in tune of 50+ million, along with another 20+ million or so for the group stage success they had so far, maybe even as far as 30 million, add in some like 10-20 million for extra ticket sales for these, and they have probably made somewhere close to 100 million in income, with more to come. I think that is not "failure", they could use that and try to get better as well.

Manchester United have been going through hard times since the beginning of this season and we all know that but for ETH coming to say that the pressure on the team that's affecting the players is something I don't really understand. As a coach if you win a game you take the glory and if you lose you take the fall and try to sit up, to me as it stands I see that pressure to be on ETH and he knows that but he's telling the public that the pressure is on the players that's why they perform poorly.
Now we're in the transfer window and if funds are given to this coach Erik ten Hag I believe he would try to get new players and he thinks pressure won't affect the new guy? Very funny.
The coach need to work on his boys because the more he keeps pushing the pressure that's on him on the boys it won't change anything but it shows that he's not capable to take the fall if his team doesn't perform well, today he can't give any excuse that's if he loses to Wigan.

One big problem Manchester city has had all this season long has been the absence of their best midfielders. I think this is what has occasioned the slight decline in their performance so far.
Haaland had really done well despite his lack of form, and Salah too, because at a time Salah was thought to be missing in goal scoring action for Liverpool.
I  had the hope that at least one Arsenal player would be on the top scorer list, but their performance so far has been really inconsistent and the lack of a good striker is clearly evident. I wonder what happened to their dream of premiership glory.

Arsenal are a good team, they're active in all competitions and they've got the special ability to get victorious at the end. Well for me they've got a great squad and impressive management too but it'll be better if there's an improvement to what they already have. They need to take advantage of the current window and strengthen some areas of the team, especially the top 9 position cause Gabriel Jesus is becoming unrelaible and Nketiah is still not very experienced for that role.

Adding a striker to the list and a few more players with increased effect won't really be a bad idea, rather it'll push the team into getting greater, bigger results. It's actually good that so far, the team have been promising and they're working smoothly with their manager too. Errors are quickly corrected and coordinations are present to. One would wait to anticipate what the January transfer window holds for this team.

I agree with you 100% that Arsenal is a good team, and they have been performing well in various competitions, which I am sure many people will testify to. For the team to have more strength during the current transfer window, which is a good advantage for them, especially in the top nine positions, will possibly be beneficial. Gabriel Jesus's reliability and Nketiah's experience are valid concerns. Adding a striker and a few more players with increased impact could potentially lead to greater results for the team, and I am quite sure they will do more than what people expect from them, which will make many fans more excited about their term.

It is positive to hear that the team has been promising so far and that they have a good working relationship with their manager. Their ability to quickly correct errors and maintain coordination is important for great success. So let's wait and see what the January transfer window holds for Arsenal. So that we can see what arsenals are capable of doing.

Man City crushed Huddersfield with a score of 5-0 and in this match,  Man City really dominated the game. From the start, it was predicted that Man City would get an easy win because they were playing at home and Man City is at a level far above Huddersfield. One interesting thing is that we can see De Bryune returning to the field after the long injury he suffered. Even though he didn't play the full game, he managed to make an assist.

Salah has already gone back to his national team to enable him participate in their African cup of nations games , even last night he wasn't present with thee team playing against the gunners in the FA Cup and I think that will definitely affect his position in the chase for the Golden both at the premier league because he will be missing some games.

Before Salah will be back I'm sure the league would be just a few match to ending and definitely Haland if he's able to get a goal at least in all the games he will be playing while Salah will be absent then he can be sure to secure the golden boot because he definitely will be some good number of goals ahead of Salah by the end of the season but then if he's unable to get such good number of goals before the return of Salah then he should be sure to drag the title with him when he's back, because Salah will stop at nothing to getting all the goals he can get.
To be honest, I don't really understand the competition that Mohamed Salah will be attending with Egypt, but if you refer to the source, the competition will take until mid-February until the final. So it is certain that Mohamed Salah will be absent from Liverpool matches for approximately a month and indeed it is the same as he will miss 4 matches with Liverpool in the EPL. But I think even if he can't strengthen Liverpool, it's not a problem, of course Jurgen Kloop has been thinking about the player as a candidate to replace Mohamed Salah for a while.

With enough time, Erling Haaland will likely increase his goal collection to 20 goals or more because Manchester City will also play the same 4 matches. So it's not surprising that from here we can see that Erling Haaland will dominate the temporary top scorer before Mohamed Salah returns to Liverpool.

If Newcastle management had added talented players to the squad before the start of the season, we might not have seen their decline.
Newcastle become a rich club in the EPL, but players are still not sure about Newcastle's future potential. If this season Newcastle can improve its performance and at least can finished in 4th position, maybe in the summer transfer window, Newcastle can find better players than at the start of this season. Because there are prospects shown by Newcastle if they successfully compete in the UCL for two consecutive seasons.

Newcastle has never been the same as Chelsea, Manchester United, Arsenal and Manchester City in terms of player transfers. I mean, Newcastle management is more concerned with long-term projects by building squad depth gradually rather than spending a lot of money in one transfer season. This policy can certainly help them save a lot of money on purchasing players, but they also prioritize quality.

You are right, Newcastle is a rich club, but they don't seem to be in too much of a rush to build depth in their squad with a number of star players. Eddie Howe is an influential coach, but unfortunately Newcastle's performance this season has not lived up to the expectations of many fans. The defeat to Liverpool was their 9th defeat of the season in the Premier League, so they are in a decline in form compared to last season.
On other hand, Newcastle is also afraid of being sanctioned with points deductions like what happened to Everton, because as we know, They have to comply with financial fair play (FFP) rules. I am sure that one day, with its own style, Newcastle will become one of the clubs that dominates and challenges for the title in the EPL, They have financial resources that are difficult to spend just to recruit players.

I don't think Eddei Howe squad this season is completely bad, we know that the injury storm they are facing is terrible. However, they are still lucky to be able to maintain their performance so that they do not decline drastically. Chelsea, which has a reputation and abundant sources of wealth, Is even worse than Newcastle this season.

Predicting the end of the season, it looks like Newcastle will have difficulty finishing in the UCL zone, It is more realistic for them to finish in the Europa League zone. They are not the only ones who have this fate, Man United and Chelsea, who have the status of elite EPL clubs, also have the same fate as them. we know how fierce the competition between the top four is currently occupied by Liverpool, Aston Villa, Man City and Arsenal, i think these four clubs will only change positions in leading the standings, and will not be left out of the top four Positions.

Smart is not enough, there must be skills
But in reality, De Bruyne is still under contract with Manchester City until 2025 and thus, atleast there is still a chance for De Bruyne to continue playing at Manchester City next season too . But ya,considering De Bruyne age, which is 32years old, then it makes sense that De Bruyne will be sold in the future maybe to provide financial benefits for the club as well.

But I think, for a team as big as Manchester City it seem doesn't to be a big problem, if for example De Bruyne will play until his contract expires . Because ya,If that happens, then De Bruyne will also leave on a free transfer but ya, all options will be to back to Manchester City because after all, basically even though De Bruyne is old, but in reality De Bruyne can still play well too, of course.
With the contract bound, if Man City sells Bruyne will get a profit if it is a free transfer then there is no profit, I don't know how he plans after the contract expires but now Pep Guardiola and Bruyne are more focused on this match recovery for him to fitness to be more optimal in any match.

Currently that news club Arab is ready to bid for the Man City midfielder but it is not certain, he does not want to leave in the near future because he has missed the game being at Man City after 5 months of absence.

It could be that Man City extend the contract for two more seasons if Bruyne's performance is still ok, this has not seen his full after waking up from recovering.
