Yes indeed, the reality is that Arsenal do not have a striker who is consistent in scoring goals and in fact, so far this season Arsenal's top scorer is owned by Bukayo Saka who only plays as a midfielder. After all, Arsenal forwards such as Gabriel Jesus, Eddie Nketiah and Leandro Trossard also do not have a good goal record and therefore, it is natural that Arsenal still need better forwards.

But regarding the decline in position and performance experienced by Arsenal at this moment, I think it is a common result and usually experienced by Arsenal in the second half of the season. Over the years, he has been rhe best goalscoring player for Liverpool, same can be achieved if he returns back without being Injured.

With the way the league is going and the competition for first place, Erling Haaland and Mohammed Salah will undoubtedly be the favourites to win the golden boot this season. They are both doing well for their respective teams and are eager to score more goals to give their teams an advantage in the race for the Premier League title. The other players who made the top scorers list are doing great as well, but there is no guarantee that they will remain there until the end of the season. Liverpool currently leads the table, with Manchester City trailing in points. However, due to Haaland's spectacular nature, he is likely to win the golden boot this season.

There is still alot ahead of this season and Manchester City is still in a good position to climb the table to top the league,  I was arguing with a Manchester City fan earlier this week and he was so optimistic that Manchester City is going to retain their current title in all leagues.

But I try to point him to some fact that may limit the club from achieving that in this season,  but he was so bent on his point and at that point, I have to leave him alone and let time do the judgement,  to see where Manchester city will end this season.

However, after seeing yesterday's performance, I think Pep Guardiola as manager will definitely consider the contribution that a player like De Bruyne can make, and giving De Bruyne time to fully recover and re-adapt to his teammates is a wise move. A player of De Bruyne's quality can add an extra dimension to his team, and waiting to see his contribution once fully recovered is a sensible option.
With everything De Bruyne has, letting him go is not the right decision, considering that when De Bruyen doesn't appear, Manchester City experiences problems in scoring goals. With De Bruyne's return, everyone hopes that De Bruyne can continue to make a meaningful contribution to Manchester City.

That can happen because we know that maintaining consistency at the top level is very difficult for any player. I see that currently Arsenal does not have a striker who is able to maintain their level of play. Examples of strikers who are able to be consistent with their performance are Kane, Mbappe and Haaland. I can't mention all the strikers but the fact is that currently Arsenal's strikers are still inconsistent with their game and this is a tough task for Arteta if he wants to appear competitive and win the title.

That seems like an overreaction, first of all we should realize that even the "nothing" is not really nothing in the end, Arsenal could finish in top four, meaning will go to UCL next season again and they are facing Porto this year at UCL and could go to quarter finals as well.

When you consider all those, I feel like they are going to make some serious money, in tune of 50+ million, along with another 20+ million or so for the group stage success they had so far, maybe even as far as 30 million, add in some like 10-20 million for extra ticket sales for these, and they have probably made somewhere close to 100 million in income, with more to come. I think that is not "failure", they could use that and try to get better as well.

Manchester City can still be relatively relaxed, it is not as if they were far behind and would need to fear that they lose contact to the top teams at the table. In fact if they win that one game which they still have to play to catch up in the number of games, it is just 2 points between them and a very strong Liverpool. But the season is still very long and if we think about the teams that have most likely the longest breath in this race, I think most of us here would agree that it is more likely to see Manchester City make some big moves instead of Aston Villa or Arsenal. In my opinion there is nothing to worry about for them.

This was indeed a good achievement even though the opponents were not quite evenly matched, so it is very natural to say that the match was only one-sided. But this week Manchester City will visit Newcastle United where everyone will again see how Foden, Kevin De Bruyne and Jeremy Doku play against fairly even opponents. Because currently Manchester City really needs to catch up with Liverpool who are still quite strong at the top of the standings with only one defeat after twenty matches this season.

Manchester United have been going through hard times since the beginning of this season and we all know that but for ETH coming to say that the pressure on the team that's affecting the players is something I don't really understand. As a coach if you win a game you take the glory and if you lose you take the fall and try to sit up, to me as it stands I see that pressure to be on ETH and he knows that but he's telling the public that the pressure is on the players that's why they perform poorly.
Now we're in the transfer window and if funds are given to this coach Erik ten Hag I believe he would try to get new players and he thinks pressure won't affect the new guy? Very funny.
The coach need to work on his boys because the more he keeps pushing the pressure that's on him on the boys it won't change anything but it shows that he's not capable to take the fall if his team doesn't perform well, today he can't give any excuse that's if he loses to Wigan.

One big problem Manchester city has had all this season long has been the absence of their best midfielders. I think this is what has occasioned the slight decline in their performance so far.
Haaland had really done well despite his lack of form, and Salah too, because at a time Salah was thought to be missing in goal scoring action for Liverpool.
I  had the hope that at least one Arsenal player would be on the top scorer list, but their performance so far has been really inconsistent and the lack of a good striker is clearly evident. I wonder what happened to their dream of premiership glory.

I agree with you 100% that Arsenal is a good team, and they have been performing well in various competitions, which I am sure many people will testify to. For the team to have more strength during the current transfer window, which is a good advantage for them, especially in the top nine positions, will possibly be beneficial. Gabriel Jesus's reliability and Nketiah's experience are valid concerns. Adding a striker and a few more players with increased impact could potentially lead to greater results for the team, and I am quite sure they will do more than what people expect from them, which will make many fans more excited about their term.

 It is positive to hear that the team has been promising so far and that they have a good working relationship with their manager. Their ability to quickly correct errors and maintain coordination is important for great success. So let's wait and see what the January transfer window holds for Arsenal. So that we can see what arsenals are capable of doing.

The game was completely one-sided. Manchester City players performed exceptionally well, especially Foden. Kevin De Bruyne and Jeremy Doku returned from injury and City scored five goals against Huddersfield in the FA Cup! It's a comprehensive win for Manchester City, as expected. Of course, it's good to see KDB back in action. More good things to come!

Haaland is certainly a unique player, because you can see that this season he is clearly in a slump and very often it is seen that he does not get into the game and often can not score from very favorable situations, in which before without problems scored, but nevertheless, even being not in the best shape remains the best scorer in the EPL.

To be honest, I don't really understand the competition that Mohamed Salah will be attending with Egypt, but if you refer to the source, the competition will take until mid-February until the final. So it is certain that Mohamed Salah will be absent from Liverpool matches for approximately a month and indeed it is the same as he will miss 4 matches with Liverpool in the EPL. I was really happy about Kevin De Bruyne's come back, but just like you said I believe with time pep guardiola might offload him, because it's as if the teams has gotten used to his absence, however the Manchester city team hasn't gotten that master stroke yet in terms of winning ways, so in another vain allowing him just to go like that will affect the team general performance because De Bruyne still have a lot to offer, he just got back from injury allow him some time to blend with his teammates and you will see his firepower.

On other hand, Newcastle is also afraid of being sanctioned with points deductions like what happened to Everton, because as we know, They have to comply with financial fair play (FFP) rules. I am sure that one day, with its own style, Newcastle will become one of the clubs that dominates and challenges for the title in the EPL, They have financial resources that are difficult to spend just to recruit players.

I don't think Eddei Howe squad this season is completely bad, we know that the injury storm they are facing is terrible. However, they are still lucky to be able to maintain their performance so that they do not decline drastically. When I saw the progress of the match in the first half, I thought that Arsenal would win this match because they played better than Liverpool who didn't get any shots on target in the first half. But, in the second half, Liverpool improved slightly and I think what made them win was that they had a better fighting spirit and composure than Arsenal. Liverpool always keeps their guard up and when Arsenal lets their guard down and makes a mistake, Liverpool takes advantage of that opportunity to get a goal.
