Here is the list of temporary top scorers in the EPL and as usual there is the name Erling Haaland who tops the temporary tally with 14 goals and that is the same number as Mohamed Salah who is behind in terms of age. Erling Haaland is still very young and is still consistent with Manchester City and it is likely that he will still be the top scorer in the 23/24 EPL season. Apart from that, there is one surprising name, namely Dominic Solanke from Bournemouth who has managed to score 12 goals so far and that is also the same number of goals as Son from Spurs. Another one is Jarrod Bowen from West Ham with 11 goals which also enlivens the list of top scorers so far.

I think the competition between these players to get the EPL golden boot is still very wide open and they still have the opportunity to increase the number of goals they will score in the remainder of this season. But what is clear is that the competition for top scorers will still be dominated by Erling Haaland and Mohamed Salah until the end of this season. Quite curious who will set another record this season.
Salah has already gone back to his national team to enable him participate in their African cup of nations games , even last night he wasn't present with thee team playing against the gunners in the FA Cup and I think that will definitely affect his position in the chase for the Golden both at the premier league because he will be missing some games.

Before Salah will be back I'm sure the league would be just a few match to ending and definitely Haland if he's able to get a goal at least in all the games he will be playing while Salah will be absent then he can be sure to secure the golden boot because he definitely will be some good number of goals ahead of Salah by the end of the season but then if he's unable to get such good number of goals before the return of Salah then he should be sure to drag the title with him when he's back, because Salah will stop at nothing to getting all the goals he can get.

That win for Liverpool was huge without Salah. I thought the whole game that Arsenal would have the upper hand in the end, but Liverpool didn't stop defending so strongly. Luck was on their side to a certain degree, but Liverpool isn't a bunch of lazy guys who didn't deserve it. They worked their asses off during that game and if then luck is in their favor, I am ok with it. Since they lost their best striker due to the African Cup, it's only fair if some of that disadvantage turns into a little bit of luck for them at the right place and in the right moment. This time Arsenal was out of luck.

Chelsea was very unlucky during this season and luck was not the only thing they needed but Chelsea's player, Christopher Nkunku is again injured and he will be away for at least three weeks. This means this team will have an even worse situation.
The player joined Chelsea for 63 million euros but Christopher Nkunku couldn't play in more than four games for Chelsea.

A big risk that Chelsea took when they chose Nkunku, since he was brought in he has had injury problems and this purchase was considered a waste. Surprisingly Pochettino still says he is optimistic about Nkunku contribution in the future. I don't wish for something that hasn't happened yet but this season Chelsea clearly cannot be trusted to be able to finish in the top 5. At the top of the standings Chelsea must accept the fact that their playing conditions are poor and that cannot be denied by Pochettino.
Chelsea getting to the 5th position by the end of the season is under probability because with the outcome of the performance in every game it just seems no hope for Chelsea to come closer to the top. Chelsea spent lots  money in get players this season but still most of their games since this season not really impressive. Nkunku have not really contributed well for the club since he was signed in and now with this injury challenge its gonna be a bad news for Chelsea.

I think Pochettino have not been able to help Chelsea to be better than how it used to be on the past , I don't expect Chelsea to still be performing bad till this time.

This season is a tough one, we can see already more than three teams competing closely for the title. Kelvin De Bruyne’s return is definitely a huge boost for Manchester City who haven’t been at their very best level since his injury. With or without KDB, Manchester City were going to win over Huddersfield anyway so bringing KDB on was just to increase the torture and dominance.

Kevin De Bruyne had not played a match for 5 months, if you are taking a long break after being injured, returning with such a simple match is a very good option. He was back on the field without tiring himself, and they took as little risk as possible.
I hope the effects of your injury end soon. There are already news about De Bruyne's transfer, maybe he can become a star in a team like Al Nassr if he doesn't get injured.  Smiley
Man City crushed Huddersfield with a score of 5-0 and in this match,  Man City really dominated the game. From the start, it was predicted that Man City would get an easy win because they were playing at home and Man City is at a level far above Huddersfield. One interesting thing is that we can see De Bryune returning to the field after the long injury he suffered. Even though he didn't play the full game, he managed to make an assist.

It's not just you who are starting to think whether Arsenal will be okay with their current performance in preparation for the Champions League later. Because actually the strength of Arsenal's back and midfield is quite impressive. Even their front line always seems to be able to make things difficult for their opponents. Even Liverpool in yesterday's match looked overwhelmed from the first half. Because Arsenal continuously made attacks which always almost endangered Liverpool's goal. But what is very disappointing is that Arsenal's attacks always endanger the opponent's goal but that's all. Well poor finishing is the only problem in Arsenal's current squad. Arteta has actually created a good strategy that can always pressure opponents. But I think the problem here is with the players themselves. They are quite bad because they always fail to take advantage of opportunities. So Arteta's task in this case may only be to convince the front line players to be able to play more confidently.
Many believe that Arteta needs a pure sticker to convert opportunities perfectly, It's useless to play aggressively but the final solution is nil. Arteta needs to understand that his squad needs a striker who can make a difference when his team needs to win, The line of strikers they currently have cannot answer the challenge of competing for the title.

Overall Arsenal played a very entertaining game when facing Liverpool, With this aggressive style they should be able to beat their opponents. Many opportunities have failed to convert into goals, So it's quite reasonable to say they have to look for a quality striker in the current transfer window.

If Arteta doesn't make a breakthrough in January, then I think bigger concerns will continue to surround their performance, both in the EPL and in the UCL. Their bargaining value has decreased and of course Arteta fleet will not be taken into account in the future. goal impotence is Arteta next job, If it is not addressed immediately then Arsenal will return to their title drought.
Correct. Getting a better striker might indeed be a solution. But the problem is that in the mid-season transfer market it is very difficult to get good players in the transfer market. Because of course all the great players will be retained by each club until the season ends. Unless it makes a high offer that is difficult for the targeted club and player to refuse.

If Arsenal cannot bring in a new, better striker, then Arteta's task will definitely become tougher because he has to maximize the current striker. And actually Arsenal's strikers were also very good at first. His quality has been proven at the start of this season with Arsenal and also in the previous season. It's just that I don't know what's happening now that all the front line players seem to be together and not as sharp as usual.

Several names have been mentioned for Arsenal to get but they haven't made any direct chase for any too number nine player right now.
Brentford are not been considerate, they're currently blocking the movement of Ivan Toney from Brentford to Arsenal. He's currently fit and ready to return back to the Premier League.

Serhou Guirassy also would be affordable to get, they can't get him right now due to African Cup of Nations Competitions. He will be the perfect signature since they can't get Toney due to the high rise of his fee.

But in reality, De Bruyne is still under contract with Manchester City until 2025 and thus, atleast there is still a chance for De Bruyne to continue playing at Manchester City next season too . But ya,considering De Bruyne age, which is 32years old, then it makes sense that De Bruyne will be sold in the future maybe to provide financial benefits for the club as well.

But I think, for a team as big as Manchester City it seem doesn't to be a big problem, if for example De Bruyne will play until his contract expires . Because ya,If that happens, then De Bruyne will also leave on a free transfer but ya, all options will be to back to Manchester City because after all, basically even though De Bruyne is old, but in reality De Bruyne can still play well too, of course.

This is what I think. Arsenal needs players and coaches with a strong winning mentality. So far, Arsenal have always produced and acquired strikers with quite good quality, but in terms of winning mentality they have always lacked.
Since Fergie's time in charge of Manchester United, we (Liverpool) have always been the team ready to tackle them at the end of the season. While they are no longer like they used to be, Arsenal can easily win the Premier League but at the end of the season they always disappoint fans by failing to lift the trophy.

Actually, the example I gave them was basically that they weren't that great either.
Premier League fans can judge for themselves.

Erling Haaland has most advantage in this race because he is playing for a strongest team in Premier League recent seasons. In this season, Manchester City is one of strongest teams too.

He has other big advantages like Salah and Son will have to play for their national team in African and Asian Cups. They will miss some matches in Premier League for Liverpool and Tottenham. When they return, they will not be much ready, not have good fitness like Haaland and even worse they might return to their clubs with injuries.

I believe Salah and Son are most competitive competitors against Haland but with those disadvantages, these two players will have to try a lot to catch Haaland when they get back to Premier League.

Arsenal are a good team, they're active in all competitions and they've got the special ability to get victorious at the end. Well for me they've got a great squad and impressive management too but it'll be better if there's an improvement to what they already have. They need to take advantage of the current window and strengthen some areas of the team, especially the top 9 position cause Gabriel Jesus is becoming unrelaible and Nketiah is still not very experienced for that role.

Adding a striker to the list and a few more players with increased effect won't really be a bad idea, rather it'll push the team into getting greater, bigger results. It's actually good that so far, the team have been promising and they're working smoothly with their manager too. Errors are quickly corrected and coordinations are present to. One would wait to anticipate what the January transfer window holds for this team.

City have sights set on the EPL title and they won't relent until they have succeeded, we know how desperate they can be most times. The dominating spirit in the hands of Pep Guardiola and his firing squad, they don't give up so easily without putting up a tough fight. A top club always opportune to sit first on the League table. Manchester City suffered some setbacks this season but that doesn't restrain them from bouncing back to competitive form this season. Let's see where Manchester City will go from here. They're at their top level and they won't stop at nothing until they've succeeded in achieving their priorities this season.

At least the confidence of Manchester City players has increased with the presence of Kevin De Bruyne somehow this player has a big impact in the team we can see a significant difference after De Bruyne played and now Manchester City is ready to start the battle for the top of the standings. In the next match, Manchester City will face Newcastle if Manchester City wins they will be in second place or only 2 points behind Liverpool. Liverpool clearly feels uncomfortable if their competitor is Manchester City because Manchester City is very different from Arsenal and have more ability to catch up, we still remember how these two teams competed in the 2021/2022 season.

Pochettino has a plan to recrui the new striker and this can be the best solution to fix the problem in the chelsea. There are many people were also complaining about how bad nkuku's physic. he was facing another injury and he may not be playing for months.

Pochettino needs to make a move as soon as possible before it will be too late. Im sure that he will able to find someone who can play as good as nkuku even though nkuku was just starting his debut but he must absence again for a very long time.
Chelsea needs to targe ta new stirker as soon as possible before it's too late. Chelsea needs to find the solution for him as soon as possible. Nkuku is feeling so bad by imssing it again.
Chelsea must be able to prepare themselves better by having better squad depth, so that when they lose players due to injury or other things they will not be confused to find players who can replace the positions left behind. Now they spend a lot of money in several transfer windows, but they have not been able to form a club that has a strong and evenly distributed squad depth, for me this is a failure in utilizing the transfer market, especially with the amount of money they spend.
I can't blame individuals, because what I see is that they made mistakes together, including in the rush to bring in a number of players. I noted that some of the players they brought in mostly failed and the problem was that the money they spent to get the players was not small money.

In the match against Huddersfield, Pep gave De Bruyne the opportunity to adjust himself and adapt to his teammates on the field. entering in the 57th minute to replace Alvarez, De Bruyne was able to play well even after he had been injured for quite a long time. even though he played only 33 minutes, he made 46 touches, 1 chance, 28 accurate passes and 1 beautiful assist.
Kevin is always one of most creative midfielders not only in Premier League but around the world. He has sharpened his vision and passing skills through his long career and those skills won't disappear because of one injury. It is a good return for Kevin, first he won with his team, made one assist, and more important he did not get another injury.

Quote
referring to what you said, yeah, that's absolutely right. Pep won't let him play straight away as the main starter. basically, players who have just recovered from injury must first get used to adapting to their teammates. and it would be very natural if he started playing from the bench. as I said, the goal is none other than so that the player can adapt again. and the coach, will monitor the movements and play. if he meets the standards, then Pep will play him again as the main starter.
Pep made a right decision to use Kevin with limited time to help the player adapts to a first real match after a long injury. It is a most serious injury in Kevin's career and took a lot of time for him to come back. There is no need to hurry from Kevin and Pep Guardiola because Manchester City recent weeks simply played very well without Kevin.

Giving Kevin more time, more appearances with slowly increasing time for each match, will help him to return to his best level and also avoid unnecessary injury.

It seems like what we have seen Kevin de Bruyne has been absent for almost half the season or more precisely, he missed the first half of the season and of course Manchester City were able to balance their strengths when they were not strengthened by Kevin de Bruyne. Thus, I think Manchester City does not depend on one player at all because the characteristics of Pep Guardiola strategy can be seen that he is able to make the players who play able to perform at their best in every match they play.

Apart from that, Kevin De Bruyne return was not only warmly welcomed by fans, but Pep Guardiola was also so happy that he was back, even in his first match after a long absence, Kevin was immediately able to make an assist. Of course, his performance has not decreased even though he has been absent for quite a long time, but he still seems to be performing at his best. Manchester City can take advantage of additional strength since Kevin rejoined, where they have to focus on winning every EPL match in order to be able to stick closely to Liverpool, who currently leads the standings.
KDB absence yes was felt at a-point of this season but we can’t fail to credit Pep Guardiola who’s a master at his job and was able to balance this squad and let KDB absence not to have much effect. Well I think the need to start grooming a younger replacement for that position incase something of such occurs again, well I believe Pep have taken note of that and would be working on new recruitments.

The team went through the first half though turbulence but the team were still able to stay among the top competitors of this tournament.KDB getting back was met with joy by the fans and one sweet thing is that he registered an Assit in few minutes of him getting back on the pitch of play. I trust City to take advantage of his addition and go all out to defend their UCL and league title.

I think Kelvin De Bruyne has been missed so much in the team. His absence had a huge impact on the team’s performance. The statistics of games won and lost in his absence just shows how important he is in the team. Sits no surprise that Pep Guardiola brought him into the pitch in yesterday’s game against Huddersfield. I think KDB hasn’t lost his fitness level and did well in the game.
Any mediocre opponents doesn't stand any slight opportunity of winning Manchester City. Huddersfield is not classified as any top threat for Manchester City, thrashing them 5-0 was deserving on Citizen ends. The fitness level of City is balance and there's certainly no room to create doubt for them. Kelvin De Bruyne have returned, let's start counting our fingers because the Belgium midfielder have become one of the promising player in Manchester City. If he's not present in matches, he's team lacks the efficiency to win matches though they're trying so hard to enable themselves become a formidable team and this can only be build around top angles.
I agree with your opinion. If this match is won by Manchester City, it is very natural, because the opponent is Huddersfield, this is not a big team to pressure and beat Manchester City. In terms of the attack pattern alone, it looks very different, what's more, Manchester City's performance looks very good and plus their mainstay player Kelvin De Bruyne has recovered from injury and can play, Manchester City will definitely get a big win. In my opinion, if Kelvin De Bruyne is not played in this match, he will definitely continue to put pressure on Huddersfield and can win this match very easily. With Kelvin De Bruyne's recovery from the injury he suffered at that time and Kelvin De Bruyne's return to the field, it certainly provides a great opportunity for Manchester City to rise from adversity and achieve victory in all subsequent matches in the Premier League and FA Cup.

It's good that De Bruyne got the opportunity to play in a match with a weak opponent when his team was already winning. He was able to make an assist, this is still the same Kevin we remember. I think that for now Guardiola will not let him play from the first minutes, but he will enter the field in the second half. City's next match will be against Newcastle, not the easiest opponent, but Newcastle is in a slump now and this match shouldn't be difficult for City. It's good that De Bruyne is back in the game, it was a long break for him, he will definitely strengthen the team's attack.

In the match against Huddersfield, Pep gave De Bruyne the opportunity to adjust himself and adapt to his teammates on the field. entering in the 57th minute to replace Alvarez, De Bruyne was able to play well even after he had been injured for quite a long time. even though he played only 33 minutes, he made 46 touches, 1 chance, 28 accurate passes and 1 beautiful assist. referring to what you said, yeah, that's absolutely right. Next week, City will visit Newcastle in matchday 20. if we refer to De Bruyne's performance in the FA Cup competition, it seems he deserves to be a starter again. but we'll see what happens next, whether Pep will give him the opportunity to become a starter straight away. or, Pep plays him starting from the bench. that is certain, even though this match is an away match for City. Pep Guardiola's squad is more favored based on the betting market. apart from that, De Bryune's return is an advantage for City.
On the other hand, Newcastle's condition is in unstable performance, plus several of its players are still suffering from injuries. so, it would be very natural if City were superior and on paper they should be able to get full points smoothly even though they are playing at home to Newcastle.
