Well, even though Arsenal have had some bad results recently, that doesn't mean that Arsenal have lost the title race this season. Because there is still a lot of time left. There are still at least 18 matches this season that Mikel Arteta and his troops, namely the Arsenal squad, must really take advantage of this season to reach the top of the standings. Currently Arsenal has the same number of points as Manchester City but has a 5 point difference with Liverpool who are at the top of the standings. Well this won't be easy for Arsenal. But they still have a chance.

Unlike last season, Arsenal doesn't have only Manchester City to fight for the league, they also have Liverpool and Aston Villa.
Aston Villa might be the least strongest of them all, but they have shown this season that it has what it takes to be among the title contenders.
Manchester City is ahead of Arsenal in 3rd position, 2 points behind Aston Villa, and 5 points behind Liverpool. Manchester City has a game in hand and a win in that game would take them to second position, just 2 points behind Liverpool while Liverpool would lose their highest goal scorer to his national team for the AFCON competition. While Manchester City trio of De Bruyne, Doku and Halland would be available.

Man City has the highest chance of fighting for the number 1 position because their core players will return like De Bruyne.
What we know is Haaland & De Bruyne are two terrible combinations for other teams.

However, Aston Villa can also take advantage of this condition after beating Arsenal, their mentality has increased drastically to be ready to win the next matches.
Meanwhile, standings leader Liverpool seems to still be very stable in performance. But Arsenal, Liverpool, Man City will be very busy because they are also playing in the Champions League.
So let's see as far as the dynamics that occur in the Premiere League next week, are there any interesting surprises to discuss here.

Premier League is very competitive. Newcastle management should have built a strong squad before the start of this season. Because they have a lot of money. But Newcastle management were not keen on strengthening their squad. As a result we see Newcastle's decline again this season.

The Newcastle team is now in ninth place in the points table. In the last 5 matches they have won only one match and lost four matches. We are seeing Newcastle's defeat in the last three matches consecutively. Although the defenders performed well last season, Newcastle's defense this season is quite weak. They conceded 29 goals in 20 matches. Hopes of finishing in the top 5 of the table and qualifying for the Europa League are now challenging for Newcastle. They probably won't even make the top 5.
Fatal mistake make by Newcastle United teams because their composition lack compete due get chance participating in Champion League and another side they must defend on top fourth position standings in domestic league. Have six matches in Champion League group phase and some players faced injury make Newcastle United loss main players for Premier League match made them have underperformance. Defense is essential problem face by Newcastle United in premier league with conceded 29 goals of 20 matches and conceded 8 goals of 3 last consecutives match.
Have chance for signing new players after window transfer for January have been open, Newcastle must sign some position exactly with goal keeper and defender if want existing in Premier League and get target with Europe League spot standings position because raise top fourth standings is very difficult.

Arsenal may not be able to make it to winning the premier league title this season because the competition now is even tough and the contenders are getting even more than it was last season, last season it was more like they had only Manchester city as their biggest threat from winning the premier league but this season it's more.

Aston villas form this season has been really outstanding with their performance as compared to last season they at some point want to dare to be at the top of the table and possibly aim to winning the trophy, Liverpool currently looks very promising with the trophy this season but like you have rightly stated, they will be suffering some set back during the AFCON as their highest goal scorer will be absent but it doesn't mean that wouldn't be able to win games but the challenge will be with the fact that they will have only few goals to their wins.

I don't really have a good explanation either for Newcastle's decline, but I would not exclude the Champions League from the evaluation of their performance. Dortmund should have been an opponent they can beat. AC Milan I think so, too. They did beat PSG in that amazing game at home, but overall their performance wasn't sufficient to make it to the next round. But I think the Champions League should be taken into account because it's the same there as it is in the Premier League for Newcastle at the moment. They can't consistently perform on their best level. They have some games that are shockingly good and then they have these blackouts like recently against really some of the weaker teams. This season will be disappointing for everyone in Newcastle.
Newcastle is one team I thought they were going to shock the world with the way they play,I thought the only team who should have been capable of winning Newcastle are a team in the English premier league, but the results that I saw shocked me becausethey were the least team in their group. They showed weakness throughout the group stage, but what really amases me was how they were able to beat PSG in the first leg of the tournament, they really showed they were a team that could win any team in the tournament, but all their playing style and ability dwindled with time. Now Newcastle is now a team any team can beat.I hope they survive the competition in the EPL,and try to be in Europa league next season.
Newcastle can certainly hope to return to its best performance this season, but in my opinion ending the season in the European zone will never be easy. Newcastle are not performing well this season and in my opinion, Newcastle will not qualify for Europe next season if they don't build their squad in this transfer market.

Newcastle's performance is indeed very different compared to last season. But this is not because they failed to maintain their performance, but rather the improving performance of other teams should also be considered as a reason why Newcastle is unable to compete at the top of the standings. Being in 9th position with 29 points collected in 20 matches is not an impressive statistic from Newcastle this season. Newcastle have suffered 9 defeats so far and the bad thing is that 4 of those 9 defeats occurred in their last 5 matches. The bad trend is still ongoing and Newcastle is still very difficult to get maximum points at the moment. SO the match against Manchester City will likely make Newcastle worse off.

Crystal Palace Everton match is about to start. After 4 consecutive defeats Everton need to win at any cost, although Crystal Palace last home match confidently won against Brentford, not the weakest team.
After Everton's points were taken away from them, every win is important for them not to drop out of the EPL.

Bookmakers estimate the chances of the teams about the same odds on Crystal Palace 2.59, and on Everton 2.74.
Usually the matches of such teams are spectacular.
FA match, right?
I don't know how this Everton game is going to go or maybe it's not that important they just need to get points in the EPL not in the FA. Just my thoughts, but who knows Everton are working hard to win.

Yes every win is important but for the EPL isn't it? In order not to be eliminated?

Odds are almost the same because it can be said that these two teams are equal, but I don't want to take those odds.
I think this match is just the start of a warm-up for both teams because no matter how far they go they will definitely be eliminated from the FA Cup. However, at least both teams will put on an exciting match so that fans who come will not be disappointed. Maybe I will favor Everton to win because this team has started to improve recently in the EPL and it looks like they will also do well in the FA Cup competition.

After this match, both teams will still focus on the EPL, especially since both are in a bad position, so they need to pay attention to saving the energy of several key players and not work too hard when the results are already superior. Moreover, Everton are still very close to the relegation zone, so their focus is completely on the EPL match against Aston Villa so they can get points.

Ok but frankly speaking, Newcastle United would have been well advised if they invested a decent amount of money into new good players. I am not against their approach as I think it is refreshing to see a club that doesn't go nuts and invest billions and is making ill-considered decisions all the time because money doesn't matter, but I think they were too low key during the transfer periods. They do have the money and they should have done something to improve the quality of their squad. Times have changed for them and in the Champions League things are different.
Eddie Howe will not lose his job because he has really tried for the club, he's not one of these average club that's not holding any solid evidence. Newcastle united doesn't know how to play good football, everything they needed this season was just there for them but they couldn't make good options, they settle for lesser actions and this is definitely not the news their fans are itching to hear. They're keen on watching the Newcastle United that thrash PSG 4-1 at Parc des Princes stadium, The Newcastle that eliminated both Manchester City and Manchester United from the carabao cup, it seems they're no longer in form and winning becomes very challenging for him.

I feel like it's basically obvious that Arsenal is gone, they are not going to win the title. Don't get me wrong, they are still quite close to the top, and it could still happen, but I really do not think that they will overturn anything. They have lost two very crucial games that they needed to make six points, if they did, they would be 46 points, leader of the league, and also just one point ahead of Liverpool but four points ahead of third Aston Villa, so that would put some distance.

Also, not a lot of people talk about this, but Aston Villa, a team nobody saw coming all year long, is second with just three points difference from the leader. If Liverpool loses one game and Aston Villa wins, they are tied for leadership. I honestly did not see that coming.

The chances are not gone for Arsenal. They are pretty much behind from the top placed teams and there are three teams ahead of them on the table so it is a bit hard for them but it is still doable if they start to take things seriously and keep getting maximum points out of the remaining matches.

About Aston Villa, they have been spectacular. At first it was Spurs who had a very good first half but Villa were also performing quite consistently but the main spotlight was on Spurs as they were doing quite well than Villa. But as soon as Spurs saw the dip and Villa maintained their consistency, Villa has got all the spotlight now. Emery has done a great job with the squad and they have some very good players right now. They have some good wingers and midfield and defence is also quite strong. No wonder they are doing well till now in Premier League. Question is can they maintain it till the end?

It is understandable that Aston Villa is not really taken into account, because many assume that they will lose their balance sooner or later, when in reality Unai Emery squad is now in second place in the standings ahead of defending champions Manchester City. Liverpool must always be alert, because they have the potential to be overtaken by Aston Villa because they only have a difference of 3 points.

I think Aston Villa presence in second place is currently a threat to Manchester City and Arsenal, which is natural because Pep and Arteta want their respective clubs to stick with Liverpool at the top of the standings without being straddled by Emery squad. Apart from all that, I see that Aston Villa has similarities with Leicester City, which once won the EPL.

Arsenal have been able to garner 40 points in their first 20 league games of the season and are just five points behind league leaders Liverpool who also have played the same number of games with Arsenal. A lot of people are of the opinion that the gunners are still very much in contention for the league title and that opinion I think is very much valid as there are more 17 league games to play.

That being said, I think it'll be a very difficult task for Arsenal to make that comeback and return at the top of the league table. The league leaders Liverpool are currently in the form of their lives and would do anything possible to remain their while reigning English Premier League champions Manchester City are also doing their best to fight back to the top and considering the fact that these two teams are better than Arsenal, it'll be very difficult for Arsenal to overtake them and move to the top of the league.

Manchester City and Arsenal are the only EPL clubs that are promising to do better this season, it's quite improving to watch how these clubs have grown to become very competitive and strong enough to withstand any pressure coming in. Arsenal have been out for long time and their return means they're ready to compete with full strength and they will be able to hit harder for good scores on point. Mikel Arteta is lucky enough to have his team still present in the UEFA Champions League competition, they're absolutely doing great and scoring high points to push their strength to new levels unluck.

Arsenal might be having a bad form at the moment but I feel like this season somehow feels like they have a better chance than last season. Somehow I can't blame this Arsenal squads for their recent results. Its nature of football, you can win and lose. These two things are moving together.

But Arsenal need to put more effort from their front lines to get a way of scoring so that we get what they want. It took many years for Manchester City to get Title of champion with their unique squads but being working hard can make you achieve what you want. They just need to keep grinding out good results till the end of the season.

Apparently the pressure from other teams this season is such that Newcastle can't stand up to them properly and that's why they have lost 4 games in their last 5 matches. I can't explain it any other way, because for no reason at one point everything went wrong for them. I'm not taking the champions league into account because it's a slightly different level, but still. I think they'll have a hard time even getting into the top 6 of the current season, let alone the fantasy top 4

I don't think Arsenal can win the league title even next season because anytime they start a new season they will be performing great and everyone will think they will win the trophy later if the league reach the middle they will start performing poor games and make other clubs overtake them and that is what happened to them last season and made Manchester win the trophy and this season they have started performing weak games and I think he has already affected them. Arteta needs to do something quickly so that they can play well in their remaining games, but he will be very difficult for them to complete with Liverpool and Manchester City for now.

Arsenal can just finish in the top four and qualify for the Champions League next season, but the Premier League is for Liverpool or Manchester City because I see Manchester City players starting to come back from injury and they will come back with strong performance, because guadiola is a very talented coach and knows of his players going to Afcon Cup competition that will give guadiola confidence to win the title, Liverpool will miss Muhammad sallah and he can influence the team, because is a very talented and skillful players, i don't think Klopp will get better player that can play sallah round in the team.

It cannot be denied that Arsenal played badly in the last four matches without getting full points, Arteta even said this after Arsenal played the match against Fulham. Arteta said we were careless with the ball and that wasn't good enough, we didn't even deserve to win. at least, Arteta is aware of the conditions and problems within his squad. last season was yesterday, this season is what they're aiming for. it doesn't matter even if Arsenal are a few points behind, after all there are still many games left to compete for trophies this season. most importantly, Arteta knows what he has to do and what he needs. the opportunity is still there, the problem is now with the Gunners and Arteta as Arsenal's architect. also, I still have faith that the young Gunners squad will get back on track. the point is, The Gunner must win every match again, especially overthrowing City and Liverpool. thus, the competition for the trophy is getting closer to them.

As for Aston Villa, it was unexpected that Unai Emery would be able to bring his squad to 2nd place in the standings. but it is only a matter of time for City and Arsenal to take over or become top of the standings again.
for me, the one with the most potential is City. since De Bruyne suffered an injury, Pep has always tried to do a lot of experiments. now is the time for Pep to bring City back to the way it was last season. they just need to be consistent and overthrow their opposing teams, especially teams that are above their ranking. City has a chance for that, and this will be a problem for Liverpool to maintain its ranking so that it is not taken over by another team. the point is, the Premier League still has a lot of matches left. and every team, especially those competing in the top four, will try to do their job well. and it seems that this season the Premier League will be even more exciting and interesting.

Manchester City have performed quite well in their last few matches. And their performance seems to show that the team is back on track and will do well again. Will continue to fight for the title. But Arsenal's performance has deteriorated. In the last 5 matches, this team managed to win only one match. They have lost their last two matches. And Arsenal dropped from the top of the table to the fourth place in the table very quickly due to losing points in several matches in a row. Despite playing one more match than Manchester City, Arsenal's position in the table is behind Manchester City. Mikel Arteta's Arsenal team is in a bad position at the moment. If the players can't return to form quickly then the Arsenal team will be knocked out of the title fight.

Indeed, the competition is very much this period and Arsenal are facing some difficulties in scoring their opponent and if they do not find a solution to it. It will affect them in the upcoming games they have with Liverpool, Crystal palace and other teams this month. One of their player's named Saka has tried a lot and it's not performing pretty well as a winger their other options on the bench. Nelson should be giving an opportunity to show what he can get. Because it now seems that they are now the weak point of Arsenal and if a team uses that against them, they will win Arsenal. This is why other players with a different pattern should be allowed to play so that they can't predict their next move while playing in any game.

This is an FA Cup match, so perhaps the performances of the two teams will be very different. Crystal Palace has a good chance to win when Everton has performed very poorly in their last 4 matches. Crystal Palace are playing at home and of course they deserve to be considered the superior team, but Everton have ambitions to win too.

The two teams are not much different in terms of performance in the Premier League, but because Everton players' morale is not good, Crystal Palace is slightly superior. The match might be even in the first half, but personally I think Everton is not an easy team to beat.

Smart is not enough, there must be skills
