Well, even though Arsenal have had some bad results recently, that doesn't mean that Arsenal have lost the title race this season. Because there is still a lot of time left. There are still at least 18 matches this season that Mikel Arteta and his troops, namely the Arsenal squad, must really take advantage of this season to reach the top of the standings. Currently Arsenal has the same number of points as Manchester City but has a 5 point difference with Liverpool who are at the top of the standings. Well this won't be easy for Arsenal. But they still have a chance.

Last season they almost got it. But they slipped at the end of the season and made Manchester City once again lift the trophy last season. This time Arsenal must work harder and must not repeat the same mistakes as last season. Moreover, currently Liverpool and Aston Villa are also in the title race this season. Which makes things not easy.
Arsenal are tied on points with City , but City have played one game less so they could potentially bypass them. Yes, nothing has been lost for Arsenal yet, but at the moment they are already losing 5 points to Liverpool, and it may not be easy to make up for this, besides, we don’t know how Arsenal will cope with this decline, whether they will be able to continue winning, or their unsuccessful the series continues.
Believe it or not, Manchester City will regain first place in the points table, eliminating Liverpool and Aston Villa.
I may be too confident but let's look at the consistency of the top 4 clubs in the Premier League, currently the point difference is very close, while Arsenal has started to lose consistency after experiencing a decline, while Aston Villa doesn't have enough strength to compete with Manchester City even though it looks strong, but I I really doubt Aston Villa and for Liverpool I believe this club deserves to be in first place to get the Premier League title but I still believe that Manchester City will immediately overtake Liverpool after De Bruyne returns and also Haaland returns to the field to compete together and replace the entire club on.
Maybe anyone can ignore what I say but I will strongly believe that my favorite club Manchester city in the short term will return to the top of the premier league.

People are just willing to be realistic with the performance of chelsea. The performance of chelsea is far from good. Im even refrain from myself to bet on this club.

Honestly, i never ever try to pick chelsea but i can still consider to pick double chance or total over in the match of chelsea but it will not for 1x2 which didn't even make sense. Chelsea's performance was unbelievable.

Pochettino is still having a very long way to go in improving the performance from chelsea. Let's see how much money is going to be spent by the club soon. I expect todd to spend more money.

You can make money on Chelsea by betting on their opponents  Wink

Chelsea surprises me in that it seems that they have had both bad and good parts of the season when it would seem they have made serious progress (compared to where they found themselves at some point), but in the standings they are always consistently somewhere deep down. In fact, they are very close to Newcastle and United, but according to subjective feelings, even the crisis United and Newcastle are much higher than Chelsea lol.

Actually, at the beginning of the season, no one saw it coming that Liverpool would mount at the top of the premier league table towards the end of the year. But that doesn't mean Liverpool wasn't on people's minds to be a major contestant in the Premier League title, after mentioning Manchester City and Arsenal.

In previous seasons, someone couldn't mention the major contestants of the Premier League title without Liverpool being on their list of clubs that can be the winner of the PL title.
Now, Liverpool sits on top of the table, which brings more pressure on them to stick to performing well because any match draw or loss from them, brings their rivals(Aston Villa, Manchester City, or Arsenal), closer to them. That's what they wouldn't like to happen to them this season because in the last two seasons, they missed being the PL title holder because of they allow their rival being Manchester City to come closer to them via points, which later was an advantage to Manchester City to lift the PL title that season(2021/2022).
Liverpool are one bit surprise of the season but we can’t call them underrated because they’re a big team. But when you compare them to the likes of Arsenal and Man City at the initial stages of the season they weren’t coming close especially when you check with their last season’s performance. I love their team spirit and their zeal to win the league, which have got them this far.

Liverpool are sitting on top and their positions isn’t safe yet as any draw or loss will drag them down away from their spot. And this alone brings about healthy challenge and helps the team to improve very well as they’ll now try to keep winning and staying top and it’ll also help in the run for the UEL. FOr the UEL they’ve also got better rivals with the likes of Leverkusen and Milan. Manchester City with an outstanding are on the toes of Liverpool and now the EPL just got more interesting with her title race.

I strongly believe in this current Liverpool squad,it's now becoming obvious it is only Mancity and Liverpool that are strong contenders to the tittle.Liverpool was a team nobody expected to be in the race for the top four, but they are now ahead of Arsenal whom we thought  will really be topping the table with some points gap,but they are behind, currently sitting at 4th position on the table.
With what I've seen so far about their team,I can say they are one of the best teams in England, and if care is not taken, they might be the current champions this season.Lets see Arsenal will be able to meet up the Little point gap,or they will languish at 4th position.

I double checked the Premier League table and was trying to figure out how you were able to arrive at this firm conviction that is is obvious that only Liverpool and Manchester City would be competing for the title and believe or not, I can't find the evidence that would support your findings. Aston Villa, Arsenal, Tottenham. If it is an opinion, I think there is no problem with that, but now that it has become obvious I would like you to elaborate on this (to me) mysterious discovery.

Possibly I missed the news that Aston Villa and Arsenal got penalties and have to accept a point deduction or something, but if that is not the case then I don't know what your findings are based on.

Aston Villa might be the least strongest of them all, but they have shown this season that it has what it takes to be among the title contenders.
Manchester City is ahead of Arsenal in 3rd position, 2 points behind Aston Villa, and 5 points behind Liverpool. Manchester City has a game in hand and a win in that game would take them to second position, just 2 points behind Liverpool while Liverpool would lose their highest goal scorer to his national team for the AFCON competition. While Manchester City trio of De Bruyne, Doku and Halland would be available.

The situation seems to favor Manchester City getting back into the race after several weeks out of race, we will see a miracle if Manchester City really takes over the top of the standings because previously some people said Manchester City had lost their chance to win the trophy but the fact is that this week Manchester City is getting closer. Now Liverpool have to really fight to maintain their position and that's without Moh Salah. Actually, I still believe in the current Liverpool squad it's just that when faced with another strong team I was a little doubtful.

Considering the performance of Chelsea is not advice able betting on them because they are very inconsistent in performance and also in wining so however in times of betting Chelsea match, they have cut so many bet because of there inconsistent, when you will feel that there match will be a very sure win for them at the end they will end up losing the match.

I'm even surprised to see Manchester United a bit better than Chelsea because is always Manchester United that's always in the shoes of Chelsea this season but however just like you said Chelsea is very far from getting better on less may be they will be able to recover on there next season and however there premier League next match against Fulham will actually be a tough one because I doubt if they can be able to wing the match.

Crystal Palace Everton match is about to start. After 4 consecutive defeats Everton need to win at any cost, although Crystal Palace last home match confidently won against Brentford, not the weakest team.
After Everton's points were taken away from them, every win is important for them not to drop out of the EPL.

Bookmakers estimate the chances of the teams about the same odds on Crystal Palace 2.59, and on Everton 2.74.
Usually the matches of such teams are spectacular.

Manchester City and Arsenal are the only EPL clubs that are promising to do better this season, it's quite improving to watch how these clubs have grown to become very competitive and strong enough to withstand any pressure coming in. Arsenal have been out for long time and their return means they're ready to compete with full strength and they will be able to hit harder for good scores on point. Mikel Arteta is lucky enough to have his team still present in the UEFA Champions League competition, they're absolutely doing great and scoring high points to push their strength to new levels unluck.

until now the strongest candidate is still Liverpool. besides still leading the standings the depth of the Liverpool squad is very deep. so if there is a player injured the backup or backup player is of the same quality as the core player.
In contrast to manchester city when Haland was injured his backup player was only julian alvarez and that reduced manchester city's goal productivity,
proven when Haland was injured City's ranking was scattered and had dropped out of the hunt for the English league champions.

I think Arsenal could be one of the top four teams in the league, but I know Arsenal's goal is more than the top four. That's why Arsenal is still racing for the title. Together with a quality striker, they will increase their chances of achieving this. The league title is very important for Arsenal because they have been trying to get it for years.

Arsenal would most likely be amongst the top four teams when the current season ends. And yes, their aim is much more than just finishing amongst the top four. Last season, they played well but sadly couldn’t maintain the lead and fell behind, giving Manchester City the lead and ultimately the EPL title last season.
They’ve been somewhat inconsistent in their performances and have lost out on some games that they would have ordinarily had won. They still have a shot at the title but they do need to step up in their efforts. I do think they’ve got the right players  to get them where they need to be. The top of the table.
Arsenal top priority is to win the EPL title this season and even last season, however the team isn't formidable enough to win it as we all know that the team lack consistency and lack of depth in their squad, if one or two key players in the team is injured there isn't a perfect alternative to fill the gap thus the team struggle to win or even lose winnable matches, from my own point of view the team can only clinch top 4 spot the team should be reinforce with more quality players next summer to be able to win the title next season I think their third attempt to win the league would be realistic if the squad is formidable enough.

I don't think Arsenal can win the league title even next season because anytime they start a new season they will be performing great and everyone will think they will win the trophy later if the league reach the middle they will start performing poor games and make other clubs overtake them and that is what happened to them last season and made Manchester win the trophy and this season they have started performing weak games and I think he has already affected them. Arteta needs to do something quickly so that they can play well in their remaining games, but he will be very difficult for them to complete with Liverpool and Manchester City for now.

Arsenal can just finish in the top four and qualify for the Champions League next season, but the Premier League is for Liverpool or Manchester City because I see Manchester City players starting to come back from injury and they will come back with strong performance, because guadiola is a very talented coach and knows of his players going to Afcon Cup competition that will give guadiola confidence to win the title, Liverpool will miss Muhammad sallah and he can influence the team, because is a very talented and skillful players, i don't think Klopp will get better player that can play sallah round in the team.

I guess you can't say Man City are in poor form... It's just that other clubs are playing better this season... That's why the EPL has a high competition in the standings... It's not easy for Man City to play in the Champions League and in the EPL... But I think that in the second half of the season they will be able to get to the first place, as it was last season...
Manchester City still has the possibility to return to the top of the standings if other teams are not consistent enough in the second half of this season. Because Aston Villa and Liverpool are still showing quite impressive performances this season and are also likely to continue again in the second half of this season. And this will certainly prevent Manchester City from reaching the top more easily because the level of competition this season is much different from last season.

After all, in the previous few seasons also when Manchester City won the Premier League trophy, at least throughout the season Manchester City also had a decline in results and performance . But ya, because Manchester City is a great team then of course over time and in the end Manchester City will again compete strongly in the title race.

Moreover, if for example Bruyne can return to play in the near future or ya, at least if Bruyne can return to play in the second half of the season . Then yes, atleast it will also be a guarantee for Manchester City to get their best performance back in the second half of the season.

After all, Manchester City are still in third place at this moment and yes, despite having a 5-point gap with Liverpool who are at the top of the Premier League standings. At least Manchester City still have a chance to be able to put pressure, and thus there is still a chance for Manchester City to be able to return to the top of the standings even though ya, it is not as easy as imagined.
Ups and downs in performance will definitely come to all clubs, we understand that there are many factors behind this, the club that gets the least amount of this situation will be lucky to lead the standings, yes I mean Liverpool. But on other hand, it is still doubtful that the position of Klopp squad will remain stable in the future, This means that the club currently in the top four has the opportunity to overtake Liverpool in the remaining matches ahead.

I admit that Man City has all the attributes and resources needed to maintain its dominance again this season. Likewise with Aston Villa and Arsenal, which I think also has the same thing, and we also have to be fair that their chances of competing for the EPL trophy are still quite big.

If Pep Guardiola squad has a big chance of overtaking Liverpool, then I think Aston Villa and Arsenal also have it and even we can't close our eyes to Tottenham existence. the dynamics of competition in winning the EPL trophy this season are very tight, I think the broader meaning of competitiveness can be interpreted as meaning that mediocre clubs also have the potential to steal points from favorite clubs.

Fulham are. no match to Liverpool, you can go do your checks in the last five games they've played, and five head to head fixtures included. I play soccer and I know how to respect opponents very well. This is nothing new to me. But currently, they've just lost three if not four of the last four games in the Premier League Competition. This a game to be played soon ( Come Next Week ). Just a little bothered with the absence of Mo Salah.
I have the same thinking as you when Arsenal were about to play Fulham in their last Premier League match, but Arsenal lost the match which was surprising to some people because Arsenal deserve to win that match but a comeback from them was amazing and they won the match at the end.

Fulham have quality players in their squad which include William, Alex Iwobi and other experience players that will lead the team to a better position in the Premier League.

For Mauricio Pochetino, I don't even think he'll be the coach to win them the Premier League. He fails with PSG having Lionel Messi and Neymar Junior, Yes?
Then, Say no more Man!! He's not the man for Chelsea. I still can't just conclude completely, he'll be hungry and ambitious after all of his career failures from Tottenham Hotspur and Paris Saint Germany.
He is a good coach but not a lucky one. He has all the players he needs then while coaching PSG, but failed to win them the Champions League; I don't also believe in him at Chelsea anymore because he have quality and expensive players in his squad, yet no consistency.

Arsenal opportunity to win the Premier League this season is still open, they are 5 points adrift of the current leaders, Liverpool can still be caught, because there are still 18 matches remaining. But of course Arteta squad can no longer lose points, the depth of Arteta squad is also very good compared to last season. So I think Arsenal still has a big chance to continue competing in the hunt for trophies, just like Liverpool, Aston Villa and Man City.

All teams want luck in the form of a complete squad, without any players experiencing injuries. Because this really affects their chances of achieving their targets, of course not only in the Premier League, including in European competitions too. Currently, it is still very difficult to guess who will be the champion when the season ends, because the standings board has not yet been formed with a significant points gap.

Chelsea don't need a striker now bringing back Lukaku would be counterproductive he doesn't fit in to Chelsea style of play, Pochettino needed to do more work on Jackson and I believe with time and more playing time he is going to improve, this is his first season in the club and it's not easy to adapt to physicality of EPL recall when Didier Drogba first arrived Stanford Bridge he also experience poor start for Chelsea after the first season he picked form and remain consistent through out, moreso Nkunku who just came back from injury is another alternative striker whom I believe if fully fit would score a lot of goals for Chelsea and with the exit of Jackson to AFCON he will enjoy a regular playing time.
It's not a question of whether they need it or not, but rather whether Chelsea will make mistakes like before or whether they are looking for another striker who is much more productive than Lukaku who has played there. If they want to be competitors in the Premier League then in my opinion they need to bring in one more striker so that there are several strikers available for the team's needs. Jackson hasn't fully adapted yet so it will take a lot of time for him to adjust and the league continues so Chelsea needs to prepare for that.

Maatsen is also still not showing his best abilities in the team and I think there are many Chelsea players currently still having difficulty adapting to Pochettino's coaching style. It can be seen how bad the performance they showed while playing and they still had quite a hard time getting points.

@Oluwa-btc I wouldn’t underestimate Fulham because in cup competitions they’ll be more determined to win hence Liverpool will have to step up if they have to beat Fulham. Furthermore Poch will need two to three seasons to turn Chelsea into genuine title contenders but I’m not sure if Chelsea owner will allow him time but if he somehow gets it then I’m sure he’ll transform them.

Arsenal will do better than just stopping at the top four, Arsenal is great but they just like falling in my hand after saying so much about them winning the trophy, and now we are talking about the top four that is just disappointing if they should be put more effort it would much easier to even win the premier league than winning the champions league and if we don't get serious it will even get more difficult for us to win any trophy now. because now Manchester City is already getting their head back in the game game and Liverpool is another challenge on its own.

Yes, they have to. Arsenal failed last season to finish at the top but that was different thing as injuries got us near the conclusion of the season but this season Arsenal have been busy in the transfer windows and we have signed some really good players and have spent a lot of money so this season they have to finish at the top. It really hurts to see them being inconsistent when they had all the advantage. Still I am glad that they have advanced in CL but they have to do good in PL too. We are making the same mistakes we did last season. We need that confidence back again that we used to have otherwise it will be same thing over and over again.
